A whining sound came from behind him as Maxwell continued down the hall. He was barely able to turn around before of the missiles made a direct hit.
"Son of a..."
His eyes widened at the last possible second as he was launched forward through the passage. Maxwell's head smashed against the radar screen heavily. It nearly rendered him unconscious as the tunnel behind him began to collapse. The rubble fell as Max's vision became blurry.

The Falcon slowly raised itself to it's feet as Maxwell shook his head and lit a smoke to attempt to cure his splitting headache. He looked over his cockpit to assess the damage. Only his radar. FUCK! His radar was down. Maxwell steadied the shield and faced the fog ready for Harrison's next move.

"Sitting in a dark room, ready for de deat' dat awaits, I am The Raven..."

Dust and debris ranging from small rocks to large sections of concrete and steel now fell and filled the corridor, adding to the decreased visability from the steam. The Serpent slowly leaned around the corner, peering into the darkness, trying to make out anything down through the path of destruction.

Harrison could see that the passage way wasn't completly blocked, but figured that the Aries was back there somewhere, and the corridor was too small to just pass by the enemy. He'd have to backtrack, and probably exit back through the entry point he had made. It wasn't the plan that he liked either.

He backed the Serpent out of the nook he had taken up hiding in and slowly walked backwards down the tunnel, the visability began to start clearing up as he moved back, but infront of him, it was still blocked by steam. He'd have to regard the Aries as disabled, until it showed itself otherwise. As cocky as Harrison was, he knew his limitations, and that Aries was much more than a standard production model. Raising the beam cannon forward, he kept his finger on the trigger.

Harrison - Now to just get to a shuttle bay and wait for further orders...

He looked down the hall. Without radar his only chance was to keep powering back and forth until he caught the bastards position. And with that Maxwell lifted the verniers and shot down the corridor at full speed.

As Maxwell powered through the rubble and around the larger rocks. He smoked the cigarette with one hand, the other firmly gripped on the controls. His scythe still drawn.

Through the smoke the Serpent appeared almost three meters in front of him. The Falcon tackled the Serpent heavily to the ground.

"Fuckin' dick. I'll teach you to fuck wit' de Falcon of Righteousness."

Harrison let out a grunt as the Serpent went backwards, falling towards the ground. The beam cannon was forced down to the side, and because of it's size, Harrison knew he couldn't get it in between him and the Aries. Harrison also noticed the glowing beam from the scythe.

Harrison - Quick son of a bitch aren't you!

Harrison's left hand went to the beam saber and began to draw it, to bring it up and defend himself. Then there was more rumblings around the two mobile suits. At first Harrison assumed that it was the battle above ground, that maybe the remaining Serpent units from his team were putting up a good fight, or maybe they had deployed some other forces, but then he realized that wasn't it. The missle attack had seriously damaged the structural integrity of this shaft. He could only assume that any kind of explosion would bring everything around them, and he certainly wasn't ready to lose his life.

Harrison tightened his grip around the controls, as the right arm lifted the beam cannon up. In one quick motion, the beam cannon scrapped across the sides of the corridor, sending up sparks, but Harrison managed to slam the weapona gainst the Aries, as he brought the beam saber out ready to ignite the blade.

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby SinfulSoul on Sat Jan 21, 2006 2:52 am

Sinful had to spend the time finding the way back to his mobile suit which had sent him lagging behind the rest of the crew. "Linear my ass, Zhelir. That leads me to a goddamned janitorial closet." he thought as he frantically ran down hallways trying to find the familiar path back to the bay. Laser beams and small arms fire crashing into the outer frame of the ship could be heard ringing throughout the ship as he searched for his exit. After a few minutes, he finally found the appropriate hallway leading him into the large rear bay where his suit had been docked. He found control room with rows of space suits on hangers as he entered into the large bay. He quickly forced himself into the nearest suit to him, placed a helmet securely on his head, and sprinted over to his mobile suit. He jumped off the bridge and landed hard into his seat within his modified Serpent. The Serpent seemed unscathed and could easily be mistaken for being a virgin in combat. The }{G insignia on the mobile suit was still crisp and clear, even the old hooks where "General Sin's" old cape used to hang when he was in full power were still in tact. Now, aside from the }{G insignia and a few weapons alterations, the suit could easily be mistaken for your average run of the mill foot soldier - mobile suit equivalent. The cockpit immediately closed in front of Sinful and a large view screen displayed his surroundings at a 170 degrees as he engaged all necessary systems. He briefly checked all his weapons, then pulled an unlit beam sword into his left hand. Sinful ignited his rear verniers and pushed himself forward. He angled his mobile suit towards the exit and prepared to enter into the shitstorm ahead as the bay doors opened.

Once it appeared there was a break in the munitions fire directly ahead of him, he fired his verniers and launched himself out of the bay. He dared not stop and curved his mobile suit around to head directly towards the L04 colony. His radar was being overwhelmed with an amazing amount of mobile suits within his 1000m range, so he reduced his radar range to 100m for now to narrow his targets down to priority only. It wasn't long until his first batch of three Virgos crossed his radar within close proximity. He immediately raised his dual gatling gun to rain a hailstorm of bullets in the general direction of the Virgos, relying heavily on his computers basic auto-aiming functions - at this moment he didn't have time for precision aiming. The planet defensors normally found on this Virgos had been deployed around the Solar Cannon, leaving most of them open to weapons fire. He would notice one of the blips he had aimed towards on his radar screen distort briefly before disappearing signifying a fatal impact. Simultaneously he would ignite the beam sword in his left hand to it's full extent as he neared the colony. His senses told him he wouldn't last long against 250 virgos on his own if he stayed outside the colony. He would have to hope the two mother ships would be able to hold their own while the colony was liberated from within. He landed onto the external surface of the colony in search of a hole that would lead him inside. Sinful tried using a closed comm line to reach Zhelir

"Zhelir? Zhelir, you there? That is not a linear fucking hallway to the bay!"

Zhelir dropped to a knee, skidding the last few feet of the distance between him and Tersan's unconscious form. He took no caution in tearing off the flight helmet and dropping an ear near to his commrade's mouth. He was breathing.

Zhelir sat back and exhaled, just in time to hear the distorted beep from his }{G comm, signaling Day was forwarding him a message from the Leviathan's cockpit. He shook his head as Sinful's voice came on.

"Fuck ya mean? You just head to the back of the cockpit, take the elevator up an' -- aw fuck it. Do as much damage as ya can in there, an' try to take out them modified Serpents. One of 'em toasted Tersan's suit. Don't worry 'bout him, though; he was smart enough to bail out at the last minute. Lev' picked 'im up. He's unconscious, but he's breathin'.

"Go for my old quarters. Promise, I won't take your nuts off for wasting it. My hunch tells me that cocky fuckhead is in my office. Zhelir out."

He smirked lightly at the reply from Zhelir. While the transmission was coming through, he finally found the gaping hole made earlier leading into the interior confines of the colony. He dropped into what appeared to be the middle of a street. By now Zhelir had finished his transmission.
"I'm on it Zhelir. I always thought your office needed a bit of redecorating anyway."
He immediately headed north of his current position, frequently checking back to his radar for potential enemies within his range. He carried the beam saber diagonally infront of him in a defensive position as he zoomed down the center of the streets towards Zhelir's old office.
"Hmm.. Surprisingly open defenses on the interior. It seems they spent most of their reserve units on protecting that solar beam cannon, but not much is out here defending their own home base. Over-extending themselves would be a fatal error."
Sinful continued thinking to himself as he traveled down the fairly linear street towards Zhelir's old head quarters. It wasn't long till he could see the large structure in the distance ahead of him.
"Well, there it is. Just gotta avoid those Serpents and this should be a walk in the park."

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby FutureKiyoshi on Sun Jan 22, 2006 1:34 am

In the control room, Winson sat in his large chair watching the battle play out on several screens infront of him. Everything was still going according to plan, in his opinion. Reserve Taurus units had been deployed to defend the outside of L4 from what appeared to be the Vanguard Prime. The remainder of the FRE Faction's forces were in standby waiting to launch in key locations around the colony. His hopes were that the }{G would use up the majority of their strength attacking the team that was outside right now.

Officer - My Lord, what appears to be a Serpent has made his way to the main office building.

Winson - One of ours?

Officer - No sir.

Winson - Are the explosives in place?

Officer - Yes, my lord.

Winson - Have them set for three minutes on silent alarm mode.

Winson smirked to himself. The command center was separate from the main office, and was buried deep inside the colony, safe from most attacks. Not only was the main gate guarded by four Serpents, but if they managed to get past that, a small army of armed guards protected their lord, and would give their lives for him.

Winson - Even if he directly attacks the building, the resulting explosion should be quite devastating.

Officer - What about the workers still inside the building?

Winson - They will give their lives to our cause. They will become Martyrs of the FRE Faction. The }{G, the Vanguard Prime, and whoever else is attacking us will be made out to be the evil threat to our peace.

Winson snickered as his eyes focused hard on the main screen.

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby SinfulSoul on Sun Jan 22, 2006 2:20 am

As Sinful moved toward his destination, it became evident that the Colony's simulated environment had been severely destabilized due to the battle raging above. Stray laser fire had been bombarding the shell of the colony causing countless holes and tears in the shell of the colony that contributed to the shaky environment. Gravity had slowly decreased from it's natural simulated force. Newspapers and light trash slowly began to lift into the air.

Sinful knew the colony's design inside and out, he practically rebuilt all the colonies metal sheet by metal sheet in his own mind back during his rule. Zhelir's office was no different. The office building was a fairly tall structure surrounded by 8 single story compounds linked together by hallways in a circle around the central building. He knew the tall structure had one basement level where the power generators for that particular building were kept. What that also meant was the tower had a fairly unstable base. If the supporting beams that held the tower up were to be compromised, the whole tower would come collapsing down. At this point in time, he didn't care much for the citizens of the colony. He had been out of touch with society for so long that human compassion for people he didn't know was distant to him. His mind was strictly factual, and his thought process required efficiency.

Once he had come within range for his long range missiles, he allowed a moment for his sensors to lock all of his currently armed missiles toward the base of the central tower. The surrounding compounds posed a bit of a problem though, they were blocking the way to the base of the compound. After a quick moment of thought, he fired his jump boosters a their maximum thrust and took advantage of the slowly lifting gravity. As he accelerated into the air, he opened up his missile compartments, ensuring his lock on was still steady. Once his jump boosters had depleted their energy and required a recharge, he waited for his velocity into the air to reach zero. At the exact moment where he was suspended in the air for just a second, he fired all 16 of his missiles simultaneously. The force of the multiple missiles firing at the same time pushed his mobile suit back slightly as he began his descent back to the ground. Some several seconds passed by as the missiles crossed the several thousand meters.

Just as he landed on the ground, he saw the explosion of the his missiles hit their target fairly accurately. He expected the tower to fall to one side, however he was amazed to see an even bigger explosion occur. He saw the tower nearly vaporize, and the explosion continue to only get even bigger, much bigger than he expected. Within seconds his mobile suit was hit with the shockwave of the massive explosion, sending his mobile suit flying backwards off balance several meters. Sparks flew as his metal scraped along the remains of the concrete floor. The floor was in relatively good shape, but the buildings and other standing structures had been heavily damaged due to the wave of energy. Shrapnel and various debris littered the ground. Sinful pushed off a metal plate that had found it's home on top of his mobile suit. With a bit of effort he managed to bring his mobile suit back to his feet. A quick system scan would show that little damage had occurred to his systems due to his suit's high quality construction, aside from some aesthetic wounds. Immediately he had his missile compartments prepped for quick reload and closed the protective armor covers. Sinful thought to himself, "That explosion was far too big to be from my missiles. Something is wrong here." He immediately re-opened a comm link to Zhelir

""Zhelir, when the fuck did you install explosives into your headquarters? I wanted to level it into a flat pile of rubble, not a goddamned giant hole! I think my suit broke a nail. I'm gonna move away from this position, nothing's gonna be alive within a long radius of where your headquarters...used to be. The way the environment is in here, the system is going to be far too unstable to maintain anything similar to Earth's atmosphere so keep your helmets on. I need to find where the enemy has setup base soon or this mission will be a failure.""

The beam cannon delt a heavy blow The Falcon. Maxwell stummbled back and landed on his back. He quickly shot up and realized that Harrison was on his feet and had his beam Sabre lit. He got off a ridiculously quick swipe that graze Maxwell's right arm. He stumbled back a bit and realized that perhaps this would not be as easy as he hoped. It wasn't known to him that FRE had such warriors.

With a growl at the thought of defeat he steadied his buster shield and raised his scythe. He glared at Harrison as he stepped foreward and took his first swing in the battle that could possibly end his life. His green eyes shot open as the shot fell and he learned that he might not make it back to Seraphina alive. He fingered the cross as the scythe's frist swing did only superficial damage to the Serpent's hard armor.

Harrison cringed as he felt the beam cut across the armor of the Serpent. It wasn't bad but it was too close for comfort. As Harrison pulled the saber back, ready to stab forward, a significantly large rumble started to shake him in his cockpit, and then Harrison realized it was something much more than a rumble.

The explosion from above shook the entire corridor, Harrison's Serpent stumbled, but he was able to get it steady again, looking up he saw deep cracks start to cut into the ceiling, running further down past where he and the Aries were doing battle. The location was unstable before, and this certainly didn't help matters. Harrison shrugged to himself as he made the Serpent step back, giving room to aim the beam cannon at the Aries. Harrison kept the beam saber forward, ready to stab, and also to keep the blade from cutting into any of the surrounding materials. Harrison opened the channel to the Aries.

Harrison - Looks like a draw. No way either of us can get out of here when this place falls like a house of cards. Just had to follow me down here while I was trying to make my escape, didn't you?

Harrison smirked as he narrowed his eyes on the Aries. Whoever was in the cockpit, was at least a decent opponent. He hadn't faced anyone this good since the War of AC 199, and that last person was Kiyoshi. His finger stayed ready to pull the trigger if the Aries fired the buster shield.

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby FutureKiyoshi on Sun Jan 22, 2006 5:15 pm

They Rysen moved closer to L4, weaving in and out of large beam cannon blasts from various mobile suits. The ship was large, but still quite maneuverable, and had the latest weaponry. It had two mobile suit catapults on the side that would extend forward, twelve missile ports on each side, as well as large machine cannons mounted in strategic area's, that would extend out from the armored hull, two twin beam cannons, one tripple beam cannon, as well as a large positron beam cannon in the center tat would also extend out from the armor.

The entire bridge crew was now in their normal suits and at their various stations ready to fight. The single ship of the Vanguard Prime had gone through many small skirmishes before for the last three years, but nothing on this scale. This didn't mean that the crew didn't think the ship could handle it. It was specifically designed for warfare, and Captain Han Richards was determined to show to everyone, that's where it excelled at.

Armor plating slid away, opening the missile ports, and in an instant, they shot out, spiraling through space and hitting incoming Taurus units.

Han - Primary Cannon ready?

Olnsen - Fully charged and ready to fire sir.

Han - Remember target one section of the Virgo 2's defenses, then hit it with a salvo of our missles.

Olnsen - Yes, sir, awaiting your command.

Han - Fire!

The main beam cannon slid forward, the armor plating separating while still protecting the surface of the weapon. The energy built up inside and then shot out a continuous beam making a direct hit with the Virgo 2's planet defensor's shielding. Normally this would have easily cut through a single Virgo's defense, but considering the number of them, the field was strong, and managed to hold back the blast, but not completely. A small point that had been weakened earlier, started to further weaken the chain of defenses. The Rysen then fired the missiles, but the attack was ineffective. The Virgo 2's mobile doll programming allowed them to pinpoint the missiles locations and destroy them with their beam cannons.

Han slammed his fist on the arm rest of his chair.

Han - Damn! How soon till we can fire the primary cannon again?

Olnsen - Fifteen minutes. Any sooner and we risk overloading the system.

Crewman - More teams of mobile suits are being deployed out of the colony!

Han - Machine cannons, open fire!

The Machine cannon's folded out of the armor and opened fire. Taurus and Serpent mobile suits began dodging the extremely high caliber and high rate of fire bullets, but many didn't succeed.

Olnsen looked at his tactical station. Suddenly, there was another object coming in at them, very fast. He began typing into the console trying to determine what it was. It was too small to be a ship, a bit too large to be a mobile suit.

Olnsen - Captain, there's an object approaching L4 at high speed...from Earth.

Han - Earth? Put it on main screen, magnification times ten.

The main screen switched to the mostly white object. The thrusters were on full burn as it approached L4.

Han - Increase magnifaction.

The magnification increased until they could make out a blue mobile suit, with boosters attached to it.

Han - A blue mobile suit?

As the mobile suit got closer to L4's airspace, it disengaged itself from the booster. It continued to fly forward, slamming into a team of Taurus's and destroying it. Using it's powerful Flight Pack, the mobile suit, which Han could now see was a Gundam, flew towards the colony. The pilot began to put on an impressive show. The Gundam moved quick, while firing it's beam rifle and making precisly accurate shots, taking out any enemies that got too close, until it disappeared inside the colony.

-

A blue streak shot across the "sky" of the colony. A team of Leo's that had just been deployed looked up in confusion. They had never seen a mobile suit move that fast. The watched as it approached the Levaithan, flying down close towards the ground. The Leo's team leader jumped into a building to get a better view of the action, and he went white with fear.

Several teams had been deployed within the last few minutes. Many were mobile suits that they FRE had just lying around, they did not want to waste anymore of the Serpent units inside the colony, several Aries and Taurus's had began an attempt to surround the Levaithan and pin the }{G down with fire, but their plan was a failure.

The blue Gundam drew it's beam saber and began slicing through each mobile suit, making his way through the enemies, until there weren't any in a close proximity of the Levaithan. It then bolted into the air, spinning a few times, and then stopped. Replacing the beam saber with the rifle, the Gundam took aim and fired, scoring a direct hit to the cockpit of the Leo Team's leader.

Sinful racked his brain trying to think of another logical place to search for the enemy. After a few minutes, it finally struck him. This colony had a large underground bunker where military intelligence was gathered. He immediately headed west of his position going deeper into the colony looking for the main gateway to the underground passage into the bunker. He then opened a comm link with Rick, piloting the Mercurious outside the colony.
"Rick, I'm gonna need some help taking out these guys. I think they're hiding in the underground bunker. The bunker is gonna be a difficult assault alone. Get inside the colony ASAP and converge on my position. The Leviathan can take care of itself."
Sinful fired his verniers and hovered down the streets at high speeds towards his destination. He could hear the battle raging on above as stray fire bombarded the shell of the colony. Certain portions of the colony had grown pieces of metal and cement would drop on occasion.

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby Zhelir Darkfall on Mon Jan 23, 2006 5:38 pm

Zhelir knelt next to the bed in Tersan's quarters, dropping him unceremoniously into it. He'd be fine for now where he was.

He proceeded out to the front to rejoin Day.
"How's shit holdin' together?"

"Fine enough,"
his partner responded, before vaporizing a Virgo. "We've sustained slight damage, but nothing horrible. With you back at the helm, we should be peachy."

Zhelir nodded. He pulled a smoke from his shirt pocket and placed it between his lips. Day had just started to open his mouth when Zhelir slipped him one, as well. Zhelir pulled out his lighter and traded off between lighting his own and lighting Day's. The two men had grown so close to brothers, yet neither had ever really out and noticed their bond. As far as either were concerned, they were on the same level as they were three years ago.

-------------------------------------------------------------
Rick whirled the Mercurius around, having just caught view of a Taurus approaching from behind. With all the grace he could never achieve on foot, "Crimson" Rick Maelvo brought the behemoth blade emitting from the crash shield around in a wide arc, passing through the cockpit of the suit. Without missing a beat, he raised the Beam Cannon held in the suit's right hand to target an distant Virgo II.

As he depressed the trigger, a small window popped up, filled with a flurry of static. No picture, just audio.

He nodded after a moment's listening, pressing the com switch in an replying.
"Rodger that, I'm movin' in."

He whirled the deep crimson suit around, before boosting toward the colony at max speed, aiming for the hole he'd noted Sinful's entrence to some time back. As the Mercurius closed on the hole, a trio of Leo suits, all flying within mere feet of one another, appeared before him. He smirked, knowing full well these had to be rookies, and feeling no remorse in pulling the trigger of the Beam Cannon. It struck the center one chest-on and blew it to shreds, the resulting explosion engulfing the other two, as well. Bits of flaming metal cratered the hull of the colony, but the damage was superficial.

He shifted his feet on the pedals below, activating the decelerators as he enter the hole. Even at full reverse, the suit still rocked the floor as it landed. The heavy man within took one quick glance around before closing on Sinful's position.

As the suit moved, he smiled grimly to himself. He hadn't piloted in a fierce battle since the end of the war, when he'd earned himself the nickname "Crimson" from his squad. Not because he was known for shedding blood, or any such foolishness, but because every mobile suit he'd owned in the squad was painted crimson. They'd taken note of his prowess in battle, and decided he needed a nickname, and it was just as simple as that.

As a custom Serpent with }{G markings drew near, he switched off the beam cannon for the beam gun, before making a crude waving gesture with the suit's right arm.

Sinful noted an object moving in on his position, and a quick visual would show him the Mercurius. He briefly waved back, then pointed toward his destination which by now wasn't too far off. He then reopened a brief comm link with the allied pilot.
"I went ahead a little bit and saw the gate in the distance, but there were several blips on my radar. I quickly ran back and waited for you. Since the Virgos, Tauruses, and Leos are all out there I have a feeling these are going to be stock Serpents blocking the entrance. I hope you're ready, try taking out the ones closest to the gate first. Here goes nothin'."
He cut the transmission and immediately fired his verniers bringing himself into a full speed dash toward the gate. Directly in front of him he could see two Serpents side by side just now noticing his mobile suit. Sinful locked on to one of them and opened his missile bays. The armor platings quickly popped out and a barrage of 16 missiles burst out in a haze of white smoke that filled their paths momentarily engulfing his mobile suit. The armored covers slid back into place automatically after the missile's departure. Sinful took advantage of the brief cover provided by the missile's smoke and curved his path to the right at a large intersection for cover behind a large building. Just as he turned right, he was able to catch a glimpse of the large series explosions that ensued, the magnitude of which could not have been made by his missiles alone. The core of the target Serpent suffered severe damage after the barrage of missiles and exploded in a large fireball. The resulting explosion coupled with those made by the missiles engulfed the second Serpent standing nearby and nearly vaporized half the suit rendering it inoperable.

Sinful quickly scanned his radar. Already he could see blips moving toward his position. He noted a self display of his mobile suit, checking to see the reload status on his missiles, then back toward his radar display. This was indeed going to be a difficult assault.

Rick nodded, and fired up his own verniers. He veered off to the right, bringing up the beam gun in the left hand and the crash shield in the right. He fired off a barage of green-tinged shots at one of the Serpents to the left of the gate, as the crimson suit activated the crash shield. The massive green blade burst forth, giving the suit a sickly glow.

Rick drew back the suit's right arm, increasing the propulsion to the right, narrowly dodging a stream of bullets from the Serp to the right of the gate. In a flash of green, yellow, and orange, the blade of energy swung in a drunk arc as Rick shifted his feet furiously on the pedals, swinging the suit as well. The arc caught the suit's core just after its apex, detonating the suit.

The heavyset man at the controls of Mercurius killed the turn just in time to keep the Serpent at the left of the gate in range. This, however, was an unnecesary action. The Serpent, though standing upright, had a large hole in the cockpit, with an electrical discharge emitting from it every few seconds. He didn't know whether Sinful had shot it, or one of his stray shots had caught it, and it didn't much matter.

"So, what now?"
He inquired, relaxing into his seat.

Sinful saw the Mercurius fly over his location, and moments later he could hear the loud sounds of destruction. When all had quieted down, he peered out from behind the building he was hiding behind and saw the mobile suit with a hole through the cockpit of the suit. He then pulled his suit around the building to see Mercurius standing beside the remains of the 4th and last Serpent.
"Well.. That was easier than I thought. I guess uh.. We just walk right in then."
Sinful moved his suit at a walking pace toward the gate and slowly descended into the dimly lit passage underneath.

Maxwell looked at Han as the tunnel began to shake violently. He began to realize that the stability of the corridor. With a deep growl he steadied himself. The comm link began to blink and a picture came up.
Harrison - Looks like a draw. No way either of us can get out of here when this place falls like a house of cards. Just had to follow me down here while I was trying to make my escape, didn't you?
"Of course. I couldn't let de leader escape. Kill de general, lower moral, easier victory. I would t'ink dat would be obvious to a warrior of your cabalbur."
Maxwell looked upwards and examined the roof situation. He removed the missile launcher with his right hand and kept the scythe ready.
"Lez work toget'er an get outta dis 'ole alive...deal?"

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby FutureKiyoshi on Mon Jan 23, 2006 9:59 pm

Ethan looked over the controls of the Epsilon and decided that there was no reason to waste anymore time in here. His objective was to take out the Solar Cannon. He turned the Epsilon and headed towards a port at the Flight Pack's top speed.

Soon he was out in space, zipping in and out of enemy fire. His genetically enhanced eyes saw the tiny fissure in the Planetary defensors shielding and went for it. Aiming the rifle inside it, he pulled the trigger, the blast shot through the tiny hole and hit one of the Virgo 2's in it's reactor, and soon it exploded. This began a small chain reaction, taking out five other nearby Virgo 2's, opening up a much wider hole. Ethan piloted the Epsilon inside and made his way up the side of the cylinder.

The Virgo 2's opened fire with their beam cannon's trying to take out the quick Gundam, but were unable to do anything significant. Ethan drew the beam saber and cut through many Virgo 2's as he neared the opening of the cannon. Ethan saw the core, deep inside the cylinder, charged to it's full power setting.

Again, Ethan took off, flying down inside it. He knew he had to destroy the weapon before it fired. Ethan brought the Epsilon to a stop, drawing the second beam saber and igniting it in his other hand. Then he went forward stabbing both sabers into the core, leaving the hilts buried into it. Flying back, Ethan brought up the beam rifle and took aim. Opening fire with the beam rifle, beam guns, and vulcans, he saw the core begin to overload and like a large crystal ball, it began to crack and glow feriously. Ethan turned the Gundam arround a flew out of the Solar cannon.

Seeing the Rysen, Ethan knew it was his old friends in the Vanguard Prime. Flying over to them he opened a communication to them.

Ethan - This is Kiyoshi Kazami...glad to see all of you are okay.

-

Han stood to his feet in shock as he heard the familiar voice.

Han - Put it on the main screen!

Ethan appeared on the screen and smiled as he saw Han. Han looked back at his old student, and other than the dark blue hair, he could tell it was Kiyoshi.

Kiyoshi - I destroyed the core to the cannon, it's going to explode. We have to get out of here now. I have some friends that we can meet up with near L5.

Han - Understood, you have permission to land on the Rysen. It's good to see you, Kiyoshi.

Kiyoshi made a slight nod as he cut the communication and easilly piloted the Epsilon inside it's hangar. Base had brought back in the Cygnus X-2, and the Rysen then withdrew from the battle field, just as the Solar Cannon errupted filling the surroudning area's with light.

-

Winson seeing the cannon be destroyed, and hearing that the }{G were closing in on him did the only thing he knew he could do. He would not allow himself to be taken prisoner, and the battle was almost over. The FRE had exhausted their forces. With a very somber look, Winson removed his gun, brought it up to his head and pulled the trigger.

The men inside the command center looked in shock as they saw their leader fall to the ground. Not knowing what to do, they then made their way out waving white flags, the only option was to surrender.
