The whirring blades of the choppers sent a gentle hum against the midnight sky. Anyone coincidentally standing on the coast would have raised their eyes to the sky, though only the black metallic underside of the millitary choppers would give a hint as to the carnage that was about to take place.

A blast from an RPG announced their arrival, blasting a crater into the inner city. Several more fired from their Javelin launchers, igniting the sky in a blaze of fire as the choppers sat down.

Several heavily-armed men rushed from the helicopters, each armed with an XM8. Any citizen that was spotted was immediately fired upon. These men had been heavily trained and held tight to their orders. Men, women, children, all were sheep to the slaughter.

A yell from one soldier signaled that a grenade had been flung. It landed near a gas pumps of one of the town's many stations. Each soldier took cover behind any kind of nearby barricade as the explosion sent the station, as well as it's surrounding buildings, up in flames.

Once the fire settled down to about half the size of a man, they advanced further into the town. The 5.56mm rounds tore down a family as they rushed out to claim their child from the front yard, ripping them to shreads.

Another barrage of RPG fire left the surrounding buildings in ruins. Each soldier began to pull back, their fire still pouring into the remnants of this certain division of the city.

The few citizens that still remained began to question their retreat...The resistance, if you'd call it a resistance, had been dismembered with ease. One man still resided atop of a nearby building. A single shot was fired, ripping through the neck of one of the soldiers.

It was the last thing he ever saw...

The soldiers fell back, forming a semi-circle around the area where the choppers had dropped them at. Their fire had ceased though no one emerged from their homes.

A small boy stood at the window, the metal shutters, though bullet proof, could still catch a stray. His mother was screaming at him to get away from the window yet the sheer amazement of these men was enough to enchant his mind. "GET AWAY FROM THE WINDOW ERIK!" His mother ran up behind him to swing her arms around her son, yet his outstretched finger caught her attention. "Mommy, look." The mother raised her head to glance through the window. It seemed as if a massive orb of blue fire was racing across the water, kicking it up at it's back.

A full glance was never available to the mother and son. At that moment, the house seemed to explode, though nothing had touched it. Left in it's place was a single shell, it's size immense.

Only one weapon could have fired it, a Dober gun.

The Tallgeese II sat down behind the semi-circle of soldiers. The shuddering of the ground caused random gasps from the occupants still remaining in their houses that remained.

The Dober gun raised to fire out amounst the houses, tearing them to pieces. The soldiers stood in their place as the massive weapon fired over their heads.

Several more choppers hummed into the area, suppressing the area with more fire from their Javelin launchers. The striving city that had once stood was now left as nothing but a field of burning destruction.

The soldiers now ceased all fire as they received their new orders. This town was only the first..

Tomorrow, a factory.

It hadn't taken long for the troops to set up camp. The enclosure of the woods, accompanied by the camo of the tents, would conceil their position from advancing enemies.

The Tallgeese II was barely visible, though it's presence was more than a morale boost for the troops. Each man took a moment to marvel at it's workmanship when they passed it. It stood for more than a valuable assest, it stood for the past and the oncoming future. It had taken a good year for reconstruction. The blue prints had been completely destroyed during some past battle, yet each of the current scientists did what they could to return the heap of scrap to it's former glory.

The men didn't have fires, they knew full well that they would draw far too much attention. They cooked their food on small electric stoves. A few soldiers had crated a circle in the midst of the tents, each ranting on about stories of their kills in this war and the previous.

Fingers wrapped around the lining of the largest tent. Pulling it open, a man emerged. "TEN'CHUN!" Every soldier dropped their stoves as they leapt to salute the commanding officer.

To say the man was large was a massive understatement. His statuesque form would have been enough to back down any man who disagreed with him. "At ease, men."

Each soldier dropped their salute and stood at command with their hands clasped at the small of their back. They knew their leader far too well and they knew that he demanded respect. He walked amounst his troups, his combat boots crunching leaves and twigs in his wake.

The leader turned to face the only remaining scientist left from the ground. His eyes fell on the small man before him, the cold stare forcing the man to cringe. "Has the Tallgeese been restocked?" His voice was cold, sharp, straight to the point, as was his demanor. The scientist attempted to stand straight before the man as he meekly replied. "Y..Yes sir......She's all green..."

The leader glanced over to his second in command, his weapons man, to nod in the direction of the scientist. In the blink of an eye the soldier had produced his Beretta and fired a slug into the forehead of the scientist, whom was dead before his body hit the ground.

"Prepare the men to move out." was all he said. The leader treked on to the Tallgeese II yet stopped and turned to glance back. "Get rid of the body." The second in command ordered two soldiers from the line to the man. YOU HEARD HIM, GET RID OF THE CORPSE! Both soldiers rushed to grab the dead body and tug it from the camp.

It seemed the woods had come ablaze, yet the smell would be enough to signal different. The soldiers began to break camp as the smell of burning flesh drifted amoung the ranks.

Once the cockpit door had closed, the illumination of the screens of Tallgeese II was his only light. It seemed a message had been received in his abscence of the suit. The writer, one of mass importance in a surrounding nation, no doubt questioned his actions.

Who was this man to do so? His actions were his own and he was ready to meet with any resistance that attempted upheavel. Yet, it was true, he didn't have the exact resources to begin taking on a super power at the moment.

His fingers clicked gently against the metallic keys as he responded. Once the message had been compiled, he smiled in agreement. It seemed everything had fallen into place brilliantly since his arrival yesterday. Yes, this would be a most rewarding experience for him and his men. No longer would be stand in the shadow of the pilot known as Heero Yuy. No no, this time, the spotlight would be his and his actions would guarrantee it.

“Sir! We have a situation!” A soldier cried as he rushed toward Tallgeese II.

Raising an eyebrow, Commander Odin opened the door of his cockpit and stepped out, coming to meet the officer barreling toward him.

“Slow down,” Odin commanded, “What’s going on?”

Obeying immediately, the officer slowed his pace to that of a brisk walk.

“We’ve intercepted communications from Metal Storm.”

“…And?”

“They’re aware of our attack and have notified the head of the project, Isaac Walker, of our intentions. He’s hurrying back to his laboratory. We assume he intends to evacuate the weapons.”

Taking a brief moment to pause for thought, Odin nodded to himself.

“Prepare the men. Tell them to get ready for another raid. We don’t have time to wait for tomorrow to attack, we’ll have to hit now. I had a feeling this would happen, they must be close to completion to be so paranoid. I want that technology.”

“Yes, sir!” the officer saluted before turning and continuing his brisk power-walking pace towards camp.

Noticing the pace, Odin barked out, “MOVE SOLDIER! We haven’t got all night!”

Shaken by the sudden order, the troop jumped slightly before breaking into a sprint and repeating his superior’s command, “GET READY, WE’RE MOVING OUT! PREPARE TO RAID!”

Turning back to his suit, Odin climbed into the cockpit and locked the door behind him, preparing the suit for departure.

“Now we’ll see…”

Gabriel sat in the trees as he watched everything that had past. His Aries covered by foliage a few meters away. As he watched the events unfold numerous things began to run through his mind. Gabriel wondered why they had massacred a village. His jaw dropped as he watched on in horror. This shoved Seraphina from his mind as he gasped.

When they were finished Gabriel moved toward the tent where the man in the Tallgeese II was staying. He sat in the shadows outside to overhear everything they were speaking of. This just confused Gabriel even more so. As the man in charge exited the tent Gabriel dove into the shadows and returned to his Aries ready to follow and defend the Earth if needed.

The soldiers darted around the surrounding campsite, preparing their weapons and armor. He stood at the shoulder of the mobile suit, announcing his prescence to all that would cast a wary glance. The next mission was clear, he had to capture the new weapon.

Anything that stepped into his path would be cast aside, without mercy.

A soldier ran up at the feet of the Tallgeese II, franticly waving his arms. Maybe they were finally ready to go. If so, the fifteen minutes they'd wasted would become fifteen hours of hard training.

A movement from the toes of his right foot dropped his body down from the shoulder of the T2. His drop against the cockpit door would send a clatter up any normal man's spine, yet in this day and age, who was normal?

He issued a crouch before performing a leap from the cockpit. His legs held together as his arms extended wide, careening his body into a spinning motion as he dropped towards the ground.

The soldier on the ground below stood with his mouth agape. His look of awe was soon cut short by the firm glance of the man towering over him, the Leader.

"Sir, we've just received reports that a mobile suit has been located in the viscinity. Reports claim that it is an Aries." The Leader snatched the paper from the soldier's hand. His eyes scanned over the special code that his men had been trained with.

"Establish contact with the suit. I'm expecting a new addition to the team." This only further the soldiers awe, yet his right hand snapped to attention in a salute before he darted away. "He's early...Good."

As Gabriel sat in the dark cockpit of his modified Aries he smoked a cigarette waiting for the T2 to lift off. He inhaled deeply enjoying that breath of smoke that filled his lungs, suddenly his transimitter began to beep signaling an incoming transmission. Gabriel coughed he was so taken back. Wondering if it was his old friend Xavier he tapped the key to accept the transmission.

The face of an unfamilliar soldier filled his screen as Gabriel looked him over calmly. He inhaled again as the soldier began to speak.

"Identify yourself and your business in the area."

Gabriel stayed silent for a moment as he exhaled looking over the man on his screen. He was obviously not incharge. Ranking, but not incharge. He inhaled again and exhaled quickly before replying in a cool tone.

"Gabriel Faile, of de Faile family. My business 'ere is protecting my 'ome and your mot'er de Earth."

The soldier paused as he thought over his statement. He turned his head to look behind him. Then a new face flashed on the screen.

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby Karaudu on Fri Nov 04, 2005 2:32 am

Sitting inside the burned brick walls of a house, there were but a few living torn tattered people, a few wounded men, women and children. They were but the remaining of the slaughtered village that was taken in an uproar by some fierce military group. Among these few survivors of the horror, that took place just hours before was a group bent on fighting to keep their homeland just that "Their Homeland". They didn't know as to why they were attacked, but they knew it was their sole duty to somehow form a resistance, no nation would fade into silent history this day.

"Karaudu, they've set up camp near the town. They killed everyone in their way I don't think many of us survived at all. It's probably just us that can fight. From what I've seen they aren't staying here long. It looked like that big mobile suit they came with was getting ready to take off again."

The one who said this seemed discernably young, a good age of about 16 possibly 17 he wasn't even a man yet. He looked earnestly at an older boy, who was occupied his eyes staring out a shattered window into the debris and blood ridden streets. the boy repeated his call.

"Karaudu!"

This time the man turned about looking at the boy his visage seemed somewhat distant still even though he was looking right at the younger boy

"Yes, I hear you Denzeru...Now leave here with the women and children to the foothills. Head as far the opposite direction of those military men as possible. I'm going to check out what is going on myself. There has to be someone left to help. Before you leave send out a distress signal with this as well."

He had motioned to a radio set the pieces were mismatched, and some seemed even fairly worn. It was perhaps because they had been gathered from whatever remnants of homes and local government buildings were left.

"Leave immediately after you get the signal out."

"Brother...don't go dying ok? Promise me you'll be ok!" A few tears welled up in Denzeru's eyes.

Karaudu smiled slightly and nodded reassuringly to his younger brother."Don't worry Denz. I don't plan on dying just yet. Your older brother has a great future ahead remember? we planned on opening that cafe to make grandma and grandpa proud!"

Somehow the words of his brother took all worries away from the young boy, and he went about his work set out for him. Karaudu left the broken remains of the town now headed toward the forest. Not just really the forest but the camp of those unknown military men. There was no real need for any kind of tracking them. He could smell them, he could smell the blood of all those they killed. That horrifying smell it lingered in the air and gave him a slight chill.

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby Karaudu on Fri Nov 04, 2005 10:25 pm

It was pitch black as far as Karaudu could see, "not much a scout I turned out to be" churned a thought in his head. He hadn't even brought a flashlight. Definitely this was the reality of some old saying about stumbling about in the dark. Almost tripping every other step he still went further into the direction that Denzeru said he should go, groping the dark as to not run face first into any large trees that impeded his progress. Finally he happened upon a clearing, almost walking directly into the line of sight of a group of soldiers, which most undoubtedly would have lead to his death. Slowly backing into the forest again he had a few thoughts come to him. The first thought was a cowardly one, a normal human reaction to run and hide. The second was to rush in head first and do what he could. The third was probably the most insane of them all, considering he knew where he stood with the first two options. Karaudu had a moment's consideration and choose the third option.

"What the hell am I thinking...this will never work."He was circling the camp looking for any stragglers that might be along for a few moments so that he might have a chance in knocking them out and taking their clothing. He wasn't trying to cosplay as on of the soldiers, he was gonna hijack a uniform and join their ranks temporarily in order to collect information and possibly strike somehow. He didn't know exactly what possessed him to come up with this plan of action, and he certainly had no idea what one man could do, namely himself.

"Ah shit I don't think those canned rations were good..I...I don't feel so well...I need to.."One of the soldiers was mumbling to himself, Karaudu caught notice of the soldier and neared him, noticing his conversation with himself about some kind of upset stomach. This was probably the best chance he had to strike. The soldier lowered his XM8 from his shoulder, and placed it against a nearby tall oak, next came his helmet and dark colored scarf they placed nearby at the base of the tree as well. Karaudu creeped slowly up to the soldier who was now bending down, and getting ready to undo his pants and do his "business" upon the floor of the forest. The senses of the boy heightened as he neared the man. Adrenaline was pumping and coursing its way through his body, temperature had risen it seemed under his skin, perspiration drops formed as he clenched his fists. "NOW!" the words screamed in his mind as he dropped from creeping to a full run at the man. His fists drew up in boxing stance, and he hopped in his right foot digging into the forest floor, heel slightly raised off the ground his left leg trailing behind the rest of his body. The left fist stayed firm and by his chin, the right arc that was his arm drew forward with all the force gathered by his inertia and flung the fist at the tip into the back of the soldier's head.

"uackk!"Toppling forward the soldier hit the ground with a cushioned thud, the dead leaves on the forest floor muffled the sound of the fall. Karaudu watched the soldier for a moment it seemed he had won, if you could call whatever it was that just happened winning. Kneeling by the soldier he reached out take hold of the man's shoulder and turn him about so he could proceed in stripping him of his garments, at least he thought he was gonna strip the man. The soldier turned around catching Karaudu off guard, forcing him to jump back. But he didn't do so quick enough taking the back of a fist to the right of his face, jerking his head to turn to its left. The wide eyes of the boy still at hand from surprise, but not for long giving the soldier would not lay off. Grabbing the boy by the shoulders the soldier pushed him into a tree, then raced his armor padded knee into the boy's gut, again and again. Karaudu couldn't think clearly there was nothing he could think to do, but act on instinct, grabbing at the man's neck, he forced the man's head away as much as possible and drew up a quick left uppercut to the man's throat, squaring on the man's Adam's apple by chance. Coughing and grabbing at his throat the man stepped slowly. Falling to their knees both men coughed and gagged, but there was no time for that whoever would recover first would have a clear shot at their opponent. Karaudu didn't think, he didn't come to this conclusion he waved his hands about on the ground and grabbed whatever was there. Striking out in the direction of the man. He felt a sudden resistance then heard a gurgle and a muffled cough then silence, and finally a thud as he let go of a sharpened stick. Looking over in the direction of the man now, he saw the corpse of the soldier, a stick in his neck blood dribbling onto the forest floor. In the hands of the corpse was the XM8 assault rifle. Karaudu would have been shot to death and become a nameless statistic in some soldier's report if he had acted a moment later.

"Oh my God...I....killed a man...get it together Karaudu..remember it was him or you. No other choice. Period."His hands seemed to have a mind of their own stripping the garb of the soldier and then replacing his own with those, the helmet and scarf left their base at the tree, and found their way accompanying the boy's neck and head. The XM8 was shouldered in the same fashion that the original soldier had. Leaving the scene of a naked corpse and blood pool was a new soldier. He would sneak into the ranks of the invaders, but his next move was unknown from there."Remember...Stay Focused..."He repeated those words to himself as he neared the camp, and then fell silent. Seeing the camp and the troops now from a new perspective. The sudden thought of walking into a lion's den came to him, he shook it off. There was no turning back from here.

Australia appeared over the horizon to the three men in the cockpit of the shuttle. Han stood up from the co-pilot seat and made his way to the door. He stopped as the door opened and looked back at the Caligo Umbra pilot.

Han - Stay just outside of the radar range. If we need to make a quick escape, we'll contact you. Let's go Base.

Han walked to the Taurus's with Base following him. The two rode their zip lines up to the cockpits of their suits and strapped themselves in and closed the cockpit hatch. Han sent the command to open the hatch to the shuttle, and the sun pierced the darkness inside the hangar.

Han - Will be heading to the location of where the distress signal originated from. Let's try to avoid combat if we can. I had the Caligo Umbra install a beam saber on our Taurus suits, just in case we get into close combat. Commander Han Richards, Taurus, heading out!

Han gripped the controls to his Taurus, and launched outside the shuttle.

Base - Ensign Base Rynolds, Taurus, lets go!

Base launched out of the shuttle following Han. The two turned into fighter mode and flew off towards the source oft he distress signal. Han and Base transformed back to Mobile Suit mode and landed on the ground and then Han began to make an open transmission.

Han - We have received your distress signal. We mean you no harm. We are part of an alliance between the Caligo Umbra, Defenders, and members of the L3 Defense Force. I again state, we mean you no harm. We are here to help.

Han put the transmission on repeat and sat back in his cockpit, ready for anything.

Han - Base...stay alert.

Base - Yes, sir.

Denzeru had seen the two mobile suits land, and held a personal communicator up to his mouth. He was going to speak to the two Mobile Suit Pilots.

"Hello, Are you friend or foe, please confirm. I am Denzeru with the refugees, we have wounded. Can you help us?"He seemed iffy about talking to them, but he figured he had to trust someone or he'd get nowhere and these wounded would just get worse.

ELSEWHERE

The Advent Emblem was headed towards the Australian Front, carrying three Mobile Suits that had never before been seen, but to a select few on the battlefield. The MMS-02 "Sagitarrius" a highly mobile and agile weapon, used for quick strike tactics. The group had secured the plans of the suit sometime after the Barton Foundation had lead their attack against the earth. Buying the plans through means rather left unknown, they had the Mobile Suits parts produced in one location and assembled in another. As to leave even further little of a trace. This allowed the group to enter the battlefield with the advantage of having weapons not oft seen.

"What's the estimated time of arrival on the scene, Shin."Captain Sho was suited up in her Sagitarrius, and preparing to launch from the ship, She was going to investigate the scene and perhaps secure a job for her and her crew.

"We're over the drop area now Captain. Ready whenever you are. As well there are two mobile suits near the drop point already, though the battle there seems to be over."Shin the navigation's officer and all-round ship technician was relaying the up to date info to the captain, and monitering everything else.

"Emblem 01 sortie. Launch!"The Mobile suit left the ship with a blaze of its verniers, and landed simply by the two Taurus mobile suits. Looking them over there was nothing particularly special, but she knew better then to judge by looks alone."I am Captain Sho of the Advent Emblem, please identify yourselves."

Han - This is Commander Han Richards, we're here to help. We have a shuttle nearby with medical supplies. Let us check the area and make sure there is no longer a threat to anyone here.

Han looked over at Base about to isuse an order, but a warning went off in his cockpit.

Han - A mobile suit?

Han tried to find data on the mobile suit that was approaching but there wasn't any. The unknown mobile suit landed nearby. Han turned his Taurus to get a better look of the new suit in front of him. He didn't recognize the design. Han smirked to himself.

Han - Light weight mobile suit...hmm...interesting.

Han flipped a switch to open up a comm to the new suit.

Han - I'm Commander Han Richards of the L3 Defense Force. We're part of an allegiance between the Defenders, Caligo Umbra, and the L3 Defense Force, we've responded to the distress signal. When we arrived whatever battle happened here was over.

Base gripped the controls to his Taurus. Han was being a bit cocky. Base had never seen a mobile suit of that design before, so he knew anything could happen now. All he could do was sit back until he knew whether these guys were friend or foe.

As Gabriel awaited the new face upon his comm screen to speak sensors in his Aries began flashing. His radar was tracking three new mobile suits to the area. It was time for Gabriel to be cautious. It could be this new face's force surrounding him. It would be tough to catch an Aries advanced as his especially when it was in flight. Though they could be three completely new suits. To play it safe Gabriel knelt the Aries down to one knee and got it to hunch the upper body over as it's left hand clutched the handle of the beam scythe. With the flick of a switch above Gabriel's head the main systems in the Aries shut off. The only things continuing to function was his radar at the lowest level and the communication line he had open.

"Are des your suits?"

Gabriel demanded with an irritated glare at the man who just silently stared back. Time to keep it quiet, atleast until they are in sight. Let them make the first move.

"Ok I'll sit tight where I am."Denzeru caught sight of the third mobile suit, and decided maybe it was best to stay where he was with the wounded, till everything cleared up.

"Pleasure to meet you CMD, Richards. I am also here to help. Well to provide my services that is. I suppose the action here is already over in this area isn't it...hmm oh well. Maybe i'll arrive at the scene faster next time. Hehe."Sho's giggle and smile could almost be felt over the communication line.

The soldier stared at the screen, his hardened attitude hid his youth. A prime example of a well trained soldier. The face of the man on the screen was clearly distraught. The other soldiers in the tent fed a continuous line of information, sifted and arranged with due to it's priority.

The prescence of the Leader forced all soldiers to sit rigidly upright in their chairs. He knew there were intruders, he knew they were attemping to surround him. The question was, how long would it take for the others to notice?

At that moment a soldier began to speak, "Sir, we have several unidentified mobile suits inbound!". The Leader turned his glance to the projections of the current screen, scanning over it. "And the Aeris? he questioned, forcing the soldier who was speaking with the pilot to turn in reply. "Sir, I currently have him on the screen!"

This caused the Leader to near the soldier, looking over his shoulder to the face of the Aeris pilot. "Oh, you. Enter the camp and disengage your weaponry. Stay out of the fight unless ordered to enter.", the words rolled from his tounge.

The Leader didn't take time to listen for a reply. He turned away from the screen and the soldier as he neared the tent's exit. "Ready the men, i'm going out first."

The folds of the tent brushed against each other as he disappeared from the tent, his exit voicing no sound. Each soldier began to tear into their orders as the sound of a mobile suit powering up forced them upright once more.

OOC - Guess I'm posting this. As per usual with this...this comes from aim so bear with me if it doesn't all match up. This was between Odin and I.

IC -

Han looks at the mercenary that's standing in the unknown suit before him. He doesn't know what to do about him, so he just sits back quit, gripping the controls of his Taurus. Some things edited to make a better post, but not much.

Han - Base go and keep close to where the distress signal is originating...

Base walks away from Han in his own Taurus, heading away from Han. The Tallgeese II rises from the surrounding trees, crashing them to mere splinters as the suit announces it's presence to all those in the area. A warning rips through the cockpit of the Taurus, Han turns his head and the suit at the same time seeing the Tallgeese II.

The weapon at Odin's arm was raised, already taking aim towards one of the former OZ suits as his fingers glided across the controls. The depression of the mobile suit's finger against the trigger of the massive weapon unleashed a flaming hunk of steel towards one of the suits. The shot slammed into the shoulder of the OZ suit, ripping through it to sling it forcefully back.

Han falls back onto the ground yelling as he falls, he jerks the controls trying to get the Taurus back to its feet. Han gets the Taurus back onto its feet and aims the beam rifle and fires a burst of energy at the Tallgeese II.

The Tallgeese raises the shield on it's left arm to block the incoming shot from the Taurus, sending it off.

Han transforms into fighter mode and flies at top speed at the tallgeese II firing the beam rifle. He flies by making the Taurus arch around aiming at the Tallgeese II once more.

The Tallgeese II rose upwards into the air, moving above where the Taurus had formerly flown over, the shots slamming into it's armor. Han brings the Taurus back into mobile suit mode and aims at the Tallgeese II as it rises into the air. Odin took this moment to move to the right of the aim from the Taurus, throwing off the predestined shot. Han fires the beam rifle once he gets a lock on as he thrusts the Taurus back.

The Tallgeese dug into it's shield to tug out one of the sabers that was held beneath it, powering it. Han moves the controls of the Taurus to make the Taurus strafe left and right. Han noticing the saber draws his own from it's location on the Taurus, he was glad he had one installed before he left. The Tallgeese now moved inwards to the Taurus as it attempted it's movements to throw his own suit's targeting system off. A slice from the saber to the back of the Taurus was issued, the haze of the weapon moving towards it. Han flies inwards at the Tallgeese as well, bringing it's beam saber across as fast as it can. Odin's slice moved into the back of the Taurus to drop it, skimming off one of it's engines.

Han's Taurus spins to the ground trying to dodge any more attacks from the Tallgeese II. Odin turned as the Taurus flew by him, beginning the targeting of the dober gun once more to the still mobile aircraft. Han aims the beam rifle at the Tallgeese II again, firing as fast as he can, hoping to score a hit. Another form of metal slug moved towards the weapon of the Taurus from the barrel of the dober gun. Han used the verniers to fly off to the side at it's top speed trying to avoid the blast.

Han drew the beam saber again as he flew in towards the Tallgeese II at the max speed. The Tallgeese II stood there, beginning another aim yet not raising the weapon yet. Han came in at the Tallgeese II pulling it's left arm back along with the right arm holding the saber. Han roared as he brought his left fist forward at the head of the Tallgeese II. Odin then fired the dober gun at the close range of the Taurus, aiming it towards the midsection. The shot ripped a clean hole through the middle of the Taurus as it slammed into it at close range.

Han fell to the ground the Taurus badly damaged, hitting the ground with a powerful thud, sparks coming off of the suit. The recoil of the weapon knocked the right shoulder of the Tallgeese II backwards, almost sending it to fall. A communications link opened with the Taurus on the ground before the Tallgeese, the face hidden well behind a bandanna. Han narrowed his eyes and winced in pain looking at the Tallgeese II, the controls no longer responding to the pilot.

Tallgeese II Pilot - Interesting that you were prepared to due battle with a suit more advanced than your own.

Han - You're the one that attacked this place...aren't you!?

Tallgeese II Pilot - What interest is it of your's?

Han - What's your goal in all of this...that's my interest.

Tallgeese II Pilot - My goal is my own.

The foot of the Tallgeese moved towards the back of the Taurus as it laid, immobile, on the ground beneath it. The foot dug into the back of the Taurus, into the hole left in the wake of the slug from the dober gun. Han went forward from the force of the foot on the back of the Taurus making him yell. The barrel of the dober gun was lowered near the back of the Taurus, between the shoulder blades. Han opened the cockpit and unstrapped himself as fast as he could.

Tallgeese II Pilot - The question, is how quickly you can get out of that suit before I pull this trigger. Hmm......Not fast enough..

Han rolled out onto the ground with a heavy thud. The shot seemed to erupt, growing louder and louder as it moved down the barrel of the gun before erupting from it's end. At the current range, the slug not only dug through the Taurus but dug into the ground beneath it. Han's body went flying from the blast. Both engines fired at the back of the Tallgeese to lift it upwards as the blast engulfed him. Tallgeese II dropped once more, standing in the wake of the flame and flare as the Tallgeese stood as the angel of death. Han's body landed on the ground, breaking one of his legs, both his arms, and several of his ribs. His back was badly burned from the explosion, and he had lost conciousness.

The Tallgeese II's intercom opened to address any that remained in the current area. Base saw the explosion and he filled with rage.

Base - Commander Richards!

Base gripped the controls to his Taurus, waiting for the Tallgeese II to send it's transmission.

Tallgeese II Pilot - Let it be known, that as of this moment, the continent of Australia has been commandeered by me, Blace Lowe. Son of Odin Lowe.

Base looked at the communicator Kiyoshi had given him earlier in L3, he pressed the button to open a communication to him.

Base - Kiyo...Kiyoshi....I think...I think Han's been killed...his Taurus was...was just destroyed....some bastard named Blace Lowe...he's taken over Australia...Kiyoshi please...come in....

A force of heavily armed men appeared around the feet of the Tallgeese, holding something in their hands. It wasn't clearly visible, yet the held detonators.

Blace Lowe - All surrounding pilots, understand that this entire area surrounding the forest has been rigged with explosives. Take your flight now or I shall wing you to the gates of hell myself.

Base glared at the Tallgeese, he wanted nothing more than to destroy him, but knew he couldn't.

Base - Let me recover the body of the pilot of the mobile suit you just destroyed!

Blace Lowe - Agreed, do what you want with him. If you venture further though, you will wish you hadn't.

Base looked at his personal communicator, that doubled as a tracking device, which made it easy to locate Han's body. Base made his Taurus move to the location of Han's body. He opened the cockpit and rode the zip line down to the ground, never taking his narrowed eyes off of the Tallgeese. After picking Han up, he could see he looked like hell. Han's left arm was broke between the shoulder and elbow, the bone sticking out through the skin, his right arm was broken between the wrist and the elbow. His right leg was also badly broken, and back seriously burned, but that's all Base could tell. Base used all of his strength to lift the older man up and carry him up the zip line back to the cockpit of the mobile suit. It' be a tight fit, but a short flight to the shuttle. Closing the cockpit, Base made one last look at the Tallgeese II.

Base - You'll pay for this...

Base transformed his Taurus into Fighter mode and flew off towards the shuttle, hoping he could save Han in time. The laugh from the cockpit of the Tallgeese II echoed outwards across the area, the intercom blasting it in all directions.
