this rp is very character-heavy as you all know, so feel free to make things happen! however, as stated in the rules, Big Events that change like Everything like. plotted events will be carried out by me. that being said, don't be afraid to cause some mischief or trouble www

also, i'm not sure how to fix it...! maybe you could gyazo them & post the img from there? if not, just shoot me the links & i'll gyazo them & send them to you

@Lloyd999: My tip would be to save the original images and just re-upload them using Imgur or some other free image hosting service. Otherwise you're taxing the original site a bit much by attempting to request their hosting of it, which is likely why its being blocked. I'd be happy to help out with that, but I'm off to work and won't be back for a few hours. Best of luck!

hello there! i love the theme of this rp care if i join late?
if yes, then my Fc claim would be Takuma, from Hiiro no kakera he would be a Half Oni yokai. (if not time to spy on some Youngens in the locker room! Hehehe)

Opinions of humans would most likely be punching bags/challengers.

By the way, Danuki isn't Chiyoko's surname. Famous Bake-Danuki seem to have this naming convention where they have only one name followed by -Danuki (like Danzaburou-Danuki) so I decided to follow that with Chiyoko. Just some trivia.

Hello there, it's been a little while since I last talked to you. :) I've been feeling a lot better lately and I've finally gained back my desire to write. I saw that you made this new RP and decided that making a new character would probably be a good way to help really get me excited about writing again, not to mention that I really like the idea of this. So if it's ok with you, I would love to reserve a yokai. I know that I'm sort of late to this, I hope that it's ok. If you guys wanted to start soon you can go ahead and I can just join in once I've finished my character.

I'd like my character to be a kodama if that's alright. I'd most likely make them agender, since, well, they'd be a tree for crying out loud. I think that I'd like to use Cheza from Wolf's Rain as their FC. She was a flower in the anime, so a tree isn't that far off. XD

They would probably be a pretty young yokai, only around 100 or 200 years old. So I would imagine that they would be very curious and interested in humans. Although, tales of what some of them do to the environment would likely scare them as well.

If I am able to reserve a character, then I should have a WIP up for them sometime today. But I likely wont be able to finish them until at least tomorrow, since I have some other RPs to catch up on at the moment, as you know.

theeeeey're done!! i decided i'd leave the history off & let it be explored throughout the rp (because really, what much do you do as an oni prince who has people wait hand & foot on him? or a kitsune that just causes trouble? or a shrine maiden who's been a shrine maiden all her life & has lived in the village all her life... you know?)

I'd like to reserve a male youkai, if that's okay. :)

I was thinking of naming him Hakuryuu (FC is Uroko from Nagi no Asu Kara), and he'll be a Mizuchi, which is a type of Japanese dragon/water deity.

As a youkai, he'd have to be quite old—perhaps as old as the oldest river in the forest surrounding the village. As such, he has very little interest in what lies beyond the trees. Humans included. He doesn't see them as a nuisance, per se, but he doesn't entirely welcome their presence either. Yes, he might interact with a few, and maybe even grow to have a sort of 'favourite' among them, but he'll be neutral at best (unless the humans manage to do something drastic enough to shift his neutrality in either direction).

if you want to brainstorm ideas or relationships between humans & youkai you can! the humans will eventually meet the youkai when we start, because the rp starts on the night they go investigate the next town. however, you can still brainstorm, like reliquary & i have brainstormed some relationships between sanja & sanae (since she is a shrine maiden & he does live in a shrine...)
