Character Dump

Someone wanted to see the drawings I've been doing of my characters (or at least the characters for that roleplay (Which is a Really Great RP! *shamelessly advertises* ==> Pioneers - The Search for a New Earth <==)); I have other characters I'd like to make profiles for, including a few that were deleted or part of a dead RP... So I thought I just keep the pictures together in one thread for my sake as well as others.
I'm sad the resolution and color aren't that great.. Both pictures look better in person. Scanning is always troublesome, though.

I might be willing to do commission work for other people's characters, if anyone cares, and if they don't mind me taking *forever**cough* to draw said portrait.

Well, it's supposed to look good on Valia.. Good looks are almost of half of how she got into the program anyway :P

Yep.. A political puppet; her dad was rich and hooked up his least favorite daughter with a trip to space in hopes that she'd become famous, or at least grow up on her own. She was smart enough, strong enough and pretty enough to become a Runner, if nothing else; though mostly, rich enough.
She's fully aware of this, hence the gigantic lack of esteem.

Aw, poor girl. =( Is she on the Pioneer I? If she is, you should introduce her to my character Wes Blakely. He makes everybody feel better, at least when he's not being sarcastic. Haha.

Nope; Pioneer IV.. It'll be a while before people on the Pioneer I start getting together and posting, so I thought I'd get a character into IV while it was busy.

That's probably a good idea. You can always create a character for the PI later.

Anyway (trying to stay on topic here xP), I really do like those pictures a lot. I'm probably totally wrong here - I know nothing about art - but they look like they're done in pastel.

They way that scans look, one might think that... But it's really a kind of markers; copic markers, more specifically, my favorite so far. They're rather expensive, but they color darker and more accurately than most anything else I've used.

My latest piece, for an RP that I technically am not in and may not be in at all; though I loved the character, so why not, yes? I've had artist's block lately anyway, so to get something drawn, even if it's a character that may or may not exist, is still an accomplishment of sorts :P
