For starters, my name is Donovan. Everyone calls me Donny. I've been roleplaying since I was about ten years old. I'm nineteen now. I've read almost every book Stephen King has written, and im a rabid fan of his Dark Tower series. I'm also a huge Hip-Hop head. I can talk forever about music.

I guess you could say I migrated here from nationstates.net since it wasn't giving me the quality and quantity of roleplays that I desired. I found this place by typing "Best Roleplaying Community" into google, and from the looks of things here I expect that to be the case. I think I found exactly what I have been looking for, and look forward to interacting with you folks!

Welcome to RPG! That's quite a mix; hip-hop and play-by-posting. What was it about the site that you didn't like, or rather, what kind of roleplays are you looking for that you haven't found elsewhere?

Thanks a bunch. The site I was on was called nationstates and it generally catered to nation-based roleplays, whether centered around intrigue created by the characters or grandiose war RPs. There is a subforum actually called "Portal to the Multiverse" where RPs set outside your nation take place, and thats where I generally skulked about.

RPs here are really encouraged to be original and creative, and I like the atmosphere of the site. I'm generally looking for fantasy, sci-fi, or a mix of the two. Superhuman RPs are cool if they are done right.
