Hello all. I wanted to make a roleplay with no true story, just a small background story that we will use to make our own story in the end.

The story is, a new boarding school..West Coast Boarding School or WCBS, has just opened this year. It's been advertised as the nicest boarding school in the United States, and only the extremely rich, extremely talented, or extremely intelligent have been invited to attend. The campus is so magnificant, the teachers so high quality, and the standard of living so high that this boarding school costs more to attend each year than some Ivy League colleges. A few very skilled athletes and musicians, as well as a few highly intelligent students, were invited to attend for free. Rich parents who simply wanted to send their teenagers to California saw the school as a new oppurtunity and have paid the high tuition.

So, for whatever reason..you are now a student at West Coast Boarding School. And for a high end school the rules are actually pretty loose. Here is a description of the school:

-In the center of the campus is the Student Center. Here you will find the Offices, a large student lounge, the library, advisors, the huge cafeteria, and a computer lab.
-On the west side of the campus are the boys' dorms. It is one large building called Galloway Hall. There are 4 levels, each have 300 rooms and two lounges.
-The girls' dorms are on the east side, it is the same setup and the name is Foster Hall.
-On the north side, behind the Student Center, you will find three large buildings. The middle building is an indoor football stadium. The left building is a large gym and pool area. The right building has basketball, volleyball, racquetball, etc. courts.
-In front of the Student Center is a circled road and a large fountain.
-The campus is surrounded by well-kept trails, beautiful trees, and little streams flowing all around.

On weekends, students can leave the campus to explore the town where they will find movie theatres, clubs, parks, and anything else you want to do.

Campus Rules
-You must be in your own Hall by midnight.
-No drinking, smoking, or drugs.
-There is no dress code
-No excessive PDA
-Attend all classes on time
-Do not leave campus without specific permission from the Dean.

Roleplay Rules
-Keep profanity to a minimum
-No God moding
- PG-13 Romance allowed..if you want to "hint at" sex just say they did it and skip to the end, or carry it to PM if you really want. No graphic details on the IC post.
-Follow all site rules

He drove through the open gates of West Coast Boarding School in his dark blue 1967 Ford Mustang. (http://image.mustangmonthly.com/f/1ford ... tang-1.jpg). There were trees and people walking on either side of the small road, most were walking alone. That was the hard thing about your first day in a boarding school, you don't know a soul. Brance Nichols was convinced that he would not be walking alone soon enough. People tended to like him, why would things be any different here?

Brance drove down the road until he came to the large fountain circled by a road that branched off to student parking centers, just outside each gender's respective dorms. It seemed that most of the students that had enrolled would be in 9th or 10th grade, because the parking lot was not very full..at least not yet. There were students milling about, probably dropped off by parents that wouldn't see them until Christmas..or ever, if that was their choice. Shaking his hair to drive the thought from his mind, Brance looked around for the truck that was to meet him here with his belongings, and there it was in the row of spaces closest to the building. Brance parked in the row behind and walked up to the truck.

"We checked with the Student Center and found your dorm, all of your things are inside," the driver said. Brance reached into his back pocket and paid the man, then thanked him with a smile and a wave.

And so that's how the school year would start for Brance, as he walked towards his new home until college next year. The truck pulled out and drove away and suddenly Brance was completely alone, surrounded by strange faces he had yet to meet. At least he was concentrated on meeting people here, rather than on the reason he was put into this new world.

"Yes Dad, ill be fine" Alenia reasurred her father for the six billonth time. She could understand her fathers concern, it was hard enough not having his wife around let only his daughter even if it was tempory.
Alenia walked around the back of the old run down family volvo ,which had been her dads car for what seemed like certurnies, and picked up her guitar case and holdel from the boot. She didn't have much, she was simple girl with very simple needs, all she needed was a small selection of clothes and a guitar to get her back.
Alenia waved her dad goodbye and then stared up at the school, it was immense in size and Alenia knew she was going to get lost as soon as she looked at it.It was then that she spotted a sign saying student center and headed for it, hoping they would able to help her find her room.
As she walked into the student center, Alenia headed for a reception desk that was situated at the very front. The woman sitting at didn't look up as she approached.
"Hi, i was wondering if-"
"Name" The girl said shortly
"Erm, Alenia-"
"2nd floor room 234" The girl replied shortly.
"Erm, thank you" Alenia said quietly and she truntled off to Foster hall to find her room.

Seth laid himself on the floor and pushed with his feet so he could see the wiring of his computer. Some guy had just come by asking about computer help, then looked ticked off when he didnt get anything. Seth shook the thoughts from his head and went back to working. Whoever wired this thing in the first place was an idiot. He found three efficiency problems right off the bat and even after he fixed them, there was still a ton of work to do. Seth only sighed and pulled himself back up to turn the computer on. When it came up with Windows XP, he was insulted.
He growled at nothing in particular and pulled out his flash drive, then logged on, put it in, and activated his personally made and perfected 'Data Pacman'. Then watched with a smile as megabytes of data were destroyed. Sure there was only one computer in the room for two people, but the wireless link was out and his laptop's satalite connection was in need of a serious overhaul. Besides, the operating system he made last year was past anything Windows had made so far. Seth shook his head as the virus completed it's work, draining all data out of the thing in a matter of minutes. Then, quickly, he pulled out his laptop and turned it on, then linked it up to the computer and started the download. To pass the time, he linked up to the school's wire internet system and started playing a version of Pacman, just to be a smartass.

We are who we are, not who we are meant to be, and anyone who says otherwise deserves what they get...which in my case would be a whole lot of freaking lead.

Ryah stared blankly out of the tinted limousine window, mindlessly fidgeting with one of the straps from her tote bag. The faint murmur of voices and laughter was audible from outside the vehicle while it sat in front of its destination. The sign in front of the newly constructed building read ‘Welcome to WCBS!’ in large white letters, coaxing her stomach to spontaneously tie it’s self in an array of nervous knots. She hated having to go through with all this for the third time.

The driver swung her door open, exposing her eyes to the bright sunlight. “Thanks.” She muttered, clutching her bag as she exited the limo. The driver smiled, nodded, then scurried back to the driver’s side and quickly took off.

With a heavy sigh, Ryah made her way to the student center. She was eager to know her luggage arrived safely and had been sent up to her room prior to her arrival. She approached the front desk, “Hi, Ryah Renolds.” The receptionist nodded, looking down at a mess of papers in front of her. “Second floor, room 234…” she responded, checking off Ryah’s name. “And your luggage is already in your assigned room.” She added before Ryah had the chance to ask.

Making her way toward Foster Hall where the girl’s dorms were located, Ryah hoped she and her assigned roommate would hit it off.

Dylan pulled through the gates of the new boarding school, smirk on his face as he examined the many new people. He glanced to Ryan, who was sitting in the passanger's seat of his black and red Koenigsegg CCR (http://www.zcars.com.au/images/koenigsegg-ccxr1.jpg), a car Dylan demanded for his sixteenth birthday, built purely for speed. Ryan's face was stuck with a grimace, and Dylan scowled, peering back towards the road.

"Now what's your problem?" Dylan asked, shaking his head a little.

Ryan scowled, "Why do I have to be here? Seriously? A fucking boarding school?" He glanced out the tinted windows, eying all the new people, "A boarding school?"

Dylan sighed, "Because, Ryan, you couldn't survive without me around and you know it. Chill the fuck out and have a smoke or something."

Ryan's lip twitched, violent rage beginning to rise, but, he did as he was told and lit up a cigarette, turning his gaze away from Dylan and to the masses of people. Great. Just great. More people to mock him and call him names. More people to sneer at his bad habits. More people to beat the shit out of. And to add to all of that, he knew he wasn't getting a room with Dylan. No, he would have to be forced to live with some other dickweed who would probably just look on him as a useless junkie, as most people do.

Dylan pulled up to the student parking area- he already knew him and his brother's room number, and knew all his and his brother's few things were brought to their rooms. He had made sure to make someone else do those little things Dylan was too 'busy' for. Before him and Ryan stepped out, he turned to his younger half-brother.

"Make friends with some other addicts, will you? Direct them to me. If they speak of any other dealers in this school, let me know." Dylan told Ryan, not even waiting for an answer before he stepped out of the car. He glanced about at the new masses of people, and put on that sloppy but strangely attractive grin Dylan was known for back home.

Ryan sighed, taking a deep breath before he stepped out of the car with a scowl- complete opposite of his brother. He watched Dylan step to the trunk, pulling out his one 'special' duffel bag, and tossing it at Ryan, who caught it and started to his dorm- Room 106 1st floor. Atleast Dylan's was right next door at Room 105.

As Ryan stepped into the hallway and stared down at his dorm door, Dylan smiled at him, "Front pocket...take it and cool off, bro." He told him, watching as Ryan peered in the pocket- just as he suspected. A bag of cocaine. He grabbed it, making sure no one saw it as he stuffed it in his pocket, grumbling a 'thanks', passing Dylan his bag and stepping into his room.

Great. Someone was already here. He lifted his lip in distaste, glancing to the single suitcase sitting on his bed. He didn't say anything to the other person- he didn't care who he was, or what the hell he was doing to the computer, he just needed a good fix.

A bathroom, that's what he needed. For some privacy.

(Just edited mine so it matches yours, and please: call me Free :))

Seth heard someone come in, and turned to look, "Oh, hey man-"
He would have said more, but a distinct smell caught his nose. The kid reeked of drugs and smoke. Seth stood, putting his laptop on the desk, "Okay, i'll make this clear right now: if you do any druggs where i can smell, i'll put your ass through a wall. We clear, rich boy?"

Ryan froze- just as he expected. Mockery. Threats. His fingers began to twitch at his side, wanting to ball into fists- and then he remembered his brother's warnings about fights around here. He remembered, but that didn't mean he actually gave a shit.

He turned about to face Seth, face blank of any emotion. "I'd like to see you fucking try." He almost growled, lip twitching at the annoyance.

Ryan would never, ever back down from a fight. He'd been beating up all the kids on the playground since preschool. Hell, he'd been beating on his mother and nannies since he was in diapers. He turned into an animal when someone ticked him the right way- which wasn't hard at all- and became blind to any pain.

Seth saw all the signs: lip twitching, fingers flexing, breath change, even the voice was quivering slightly. Seth was about to do his second favorite thing: fight. Then he could steal something from the kid and free run around with it to be a smartass. No matter how this went, something good was about to happen. Seth lowered himself and slid one leg forward so he was kind of sitting on his other, then held one arm along that leg and kept the other close to his face, "If you're gonna swing, swing. I got shit to do without havin to deal with your pussy ass."

Ryan was silent for a moment, gray gaze boring down on Seth. Then, suddenly, he laughed, that laugh sounding almost insane. Most people back home thought the guy was crazy- most people were correct. He put up his hand, in a fist, middle finger raising.

"You're pathetic. Don't ever forget that." Ryan told him simply, before turning around and slipping into the bathroom without another word, the door slammed behind him.

He had no time to fight. Coke was more important at this moment in time. Besides, Seth could try to 'throw his ass through a wall' if he wanted. His fix was happening right here, right now. He dug into his pocket, pulling out the baggy of white powder and his bank card- which really had nothing on it. It was mainly used for cutting lines, which he began to do, snorting each one quickly.

Seth rolled his eyes when the door closed, the had an idea. The school had sprinkler systems everywhere...computer controled sprinklers. He pout a chair in front of the door so it couldn't be opened, then moved back to his laptop and killed the game, halted the download, and started his work. 'There you are...' he thought, finding exactly what he wanted. Seth activated the sprinkler for his room's bathroom and set it to full blast, then yelled, "WELL FUCK YOU TOO!"
As usual, he couldn't help but laughing.

ooc: keep OOC in the OOC thread from now on unless followed by IC posts please.

IC: Brance walked into Galloway Hall and felt his phone buzz. It was a text from the driver. "I forgot to say your room is Room 164 on the 4th floor." Brance laughed at his own stupidity for not asking and sent a reply, "Alright, thanks."

Brance got into an elevator, surprisingly alone. He pushed the number 4 on the right side of the door and it lit up. The doors closed and the elevator began to rise. A small ding sounded as Brance reached the 4th floor and the doors opened. He stepped out and walked down the hall towards Room 164. The building was enormous, and Brance was glad that there was an elevator in the middle of each section of 100 rooms.

His room was close, just down the hall really. The door was unlocked for him and he opened it, then shut the door behind him and turned on the lights.

For just a moment, Brance thought that he could forgive his mother. He was given one of the larger rooms, and it was all his. On the walls were posters of his favorite bands; Linkin Park, Three Days Grace, Yellowcard, Seether, and The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. Under the posters, the walls were painted a dark blue. The window was toward the west and had a good view of the edges of the campus as well as the town beyond. It was beautiful.

The bed had dark blue comforters and pillows to match the walls, and it was up against the left wall. Next to it, under the window, was a night stand and next to that was his guitar amp and brand new Gibson Les Paul. The guitar was a dark red color with a black edge burst effect. In the right wall was a closet full of his new clothes. Band shirts, collared shirts, graphic shirts, hoodies, jeans, and even a nice black suit were hanging in there. To the left of the closet was the bathroom, with a sink..toilet..and shower.

To the left of the door, in front of the bed, was an entertainment center with a large flat screen television, 64'. It was hooked up to his Xbox 360, and the cabinet underneath was full of games and controllers. Leaning against the table were Guitar Hero guitar and drum controllers.

Yeah, it was going to be an excellent year living here. Everything he had always wanted, all in a single room. Brance laid back on the bed and smiled. Maybe it wasn't so bad having no other place to call home.

Ryan's first priority was his precious dust- quickly, he sealed the bag, away from the water. Mind hazy, he glanced up at the water, feeling the water fall against his face. He sighed, closing his eyes and leaning against the wall. He didn't even try to escape. He really didn't care. If he was sober, maybe he would. Maybe when he actually faced this jerk he'd care.

Suddenly, a knock sounded on the dorm door. Dylan stood outside in the hall, having heard the shout from his dorm next door. He sighed- he never liked dealing with Ryan's problems, but he'd really not like to see his little brother crippled. He needed Ryan for this whole dealing thing at the school to go down.

Seth leaned back in his chair, then turned up his favorite techno music all the way up on custom speakers, feeling the floor beneath his feet throb with the beat. He didn't even hear the knock on the door, and even if he did, it was unlikely he'd care. The door to the bathroom was sealed, however, and soon it would be filled with water and whatever drugs the kid had with him. Then, when it was halfway, Seth would open the auto drainage system and let it all out, then fight whatever fight he had to so the kid would never do it again.
It wasn't just the drugs, though...

Seth flashed back to the first time he'd ever fought. A huge kid stood over him, holding a bloody switchblade. It was Seth's blood, "You're pathetic, you know that?" the kid said. He said it with a smile, watching as Seth's blood flowed from a cut on each limb. There were many, actually, all shaped like tiger stripes.
This was it. If he didn't do anything soon, Seth would bleed out and that was it...
'Oh hell no.' he thought.
Seth raised his arm and slugged the kid hard in the groin, then rose, took his knife, and shoved it deep between his ribs. Two more came at him with bats raised, but even through the pain, Seth was too fast. He ducked low, under their guard, and wrapped one bloody arm around each neck, then squeezed hard. Two loud snaps echoed through the alley, and the two boys went limp. Another lunged with a chain, but Seth just grabbed that, wrapped it around his fist in one fast motion, and punched the other hard in the face. Finally, the last three charged as one. Seth leaned around, like he was going to run, then flung his body in a spinning motion back at them. One solid kick knocked all three of them out, though Seth's landing was less than graceful. For a while he lay there, vision fading, eyes glazing over.
Then he raised his head, slammed it into the ground, and stood back up with more of a headache than anything. After that, he walked himself to the hospital with a smile.

Seth bobbed his head to the beat with a demonic smile on his face, adrenalin pulsing into his heart. He hoped the kid getting soaked had friends, 'cuz right now Seth was begging for a fight.
