Living In A Small Town Has Its Disadvantages {OC}

In the small town of New Arlingdon, SC gossip spreads like wildfire. "Oh, did you hear? Madeline's child got arrested yesterday!" "You didn't know Elliot's son was gay?" Everyone knew each other's name, and if a boy were lucky he could go to USC or Clemson. Most went to work in the milk company just out of town, and marry his highschool sweetheart. And then, again if he were lucky, the cycle would continue.

Now, this story is about the teenagers who live in this town. A boy who thinks he's worthless, his best friend trying to cheer him up, a guy trying to leave this damned town, a girl trying to make it big, the possibilities are endless.

History: Alistar knew since he was little that he was gay. Wanting to wear eyeliner like his big sister and always playing with the girls. He always got beat up, especially more after sixth grade when he came out. He was beaten into a coma soon after he came out, and he met his true love. Joshua Alexander Richards, the eighth grader who'd tried to stop the boys but ended up beaten up himself, had come in every day for a month until those baby blue eyes opened up again. They introduced themselves and ended up coming out to Ali's parents by kissing in the hospital. They stayed a couple until Josh's junior year, when he pushed a freshman Ali out of the way of a speeding semi and was instantly killed.
