"That's okay, I always get tangled. It happens often; me getting stuck like that. One time I was stuck for a few hours and had to bite the covers and tear them to get them off." she says thoughtfully and bounces to the bags.
"What's this?" She pulls out a crinkly bag with a weird cat dude with sunglasses holding up a red, flaming stick.

When Jamie finally got some water and looks very unhappy, Amalia walked up to her with an amused look. "I told you," She half laughed but then pat Jamie's head. "At least you tried it though, I'm sorry it was too hot for you though."

"Better." She comments. "But there was one civilian .. Who lived here. Why was everything else empty?" She passed a brownie to Amalia. "Maybe we shouldn't have punched him."

Several fires, small, weak ones, began to burn on the road randomly. This is a good time to practice my magic, Jamie thought, and two disks slowly began to rise. They hardened and floated randomly around while a third, shimmery, small object came from below and struggled. Yet another one pushed it's way up. It was about a foot off the ground when all four shattered and exploded silently, knocking Jamie to her butt.
"Well .. I could do four of them!" She tries to think positively. "What about ... That spell that one man taught me?" She whispers to herself, remembering when she was about four, and that man, in her dreams, taught her a sort of shield spell.
She stands abruptly and makes a ball with her two fists combined, and agonizingly slowly pulls them apart.
A blue field of magic, tinged with purple, begins to grow around her. It's tiny.
He told me I would one day be able to surround several people ...
She tries again, but it only goes a couple inches out before it expands and disappears, yet again forcing Jamie to her knees. "Why can't I do this stuff as easily as Max?!"

Collectibles
