"I fall off horses...it's this thing I do."
Likes: Strong-willed women, women who can handle weapons, women in general, knives, a good haunch of deer meat, a good cup of tea, taverns.
Dislikes: Being called out on something, cheap wine, flamboyantly styled clothing, dirty floors, superficial people, hypocrisy.
Fears: To become world-weary.
Skills/Talents: Stealing and pick-pocketing, talking his way out of situations, talking people into things, impeccable manners, his charm and charisma. He is very good at fighting with daggers and has impeccable aim when throwing them at targets. If a knife is not within reach, Dante can handle himself very well unarmed and can easily subdue an opponent with his bare hands.
Weaknesses: Alcohol, beautiful women, his curiosity, his inner feelings. He is also not very good at sword-fighting and prefers to stick to wielding daggers. He is also not very good at riding horseback.
General Personality: At face value, Dante is an unflappable, charismatic man, a flirt and an optimist. He has a penchant for flippancy in the face of danger, which has earned him a lot of trouble, but this is forgivable by way of him being surprisingly empathetic. He rarely compares other peopleβs troubles to his own and can be a good listener when he feels what is being said is worth listening to.
His light banter works well to diffuse situations which veer uncomfortably close to causing a mood. Above everything else, Dante is very loyal to his friends. Dante can be very protective, and more than once has played the dashing hero to a complete stranger and then made himself scarce.
Dante is, by all intents and purposes, a mercenary for hire as well as a thief. He had at one point been a member to House Strake, one of the Lesser Houses sworn to House Winsler, but after a series of events which Dante would rather not mention, he had been cast out. If pressed about what really did happen to him to get him cast out, he would mention that it had to do with thievery and possibly an 'accidental' criminal act or two on his part.
Dante was fifteen when this had happened and had been forced to learn how to get by with his own wits. That was what shaped him into the man he is today. As of not long ago, he has sworn his allegiance to House Damian in return for a good sum of money and had taken up a job as a guard to the Damian children.
