The man dragged himself back to his townhouse. He had never been so sore in all of his short twenty-five years. Clayton ran his fingers through his hair as he threw his gym bag down beside the front door. The muscles made an audible sigh of relief as the bag left his grip. Sarah was supposed to come over later and the pair supposedly had plans to talk and go out to eat. She was a nice change compared to the apes he had just dealt with. Clayton appears as a slack-jaw jock but he was quite the contrary. He was an Academic All American as well as an Athletic All American in college, and high school.

Clayton rubbed his eyes as he mixed himself a protein shake, and a added a banana to the mixture. Within a few minutes the mixture was gone and in the sink. He set an alarm on his phone and collapsed on his couch, passing out only moments later.

Sarah was just finishing up at work as her boss came in and demanded that she say longer. She stammered against her words then looked at her boss before speaking. "You know, I stayed longer last time, find someone else please." She smiled cutely then walked passed her boss, who stood there in sheer awe and shock. Sarah just kept on walking like nothing had happened. She always stayed and worked extra hours, yes, but tonight she had a little date with a guy she really liked. Was she going to let him know that? When the time was right.

She got in her 2013 Dodge Charger, which was blue in color, and cranked up the engine then pulled out of the parking lot.

After a few minutes or so, she pulled up to where Clayton usually stays and breathed before getting out of the car. She knew that he just got out of practice and she didn't mind a little man stink, here and there, but she hoped that there wasn't a giant whiff of it. She giggled to herself at the thought as she sprayed some Cherry perfume on then got out of her car, walking up to the door and knocking three times - That was it for her. If he didn't answer that door then she just wasted her time coming all the down here.

Somehow Clayton managed to awake just seconds before his alarm sent out a series of repetitive loud beeps. The man tossed himself off of the couch and immediately began blaring music for it seemed that that was the only way he was able to keep himself awake recently. After stumbling up the first few stairs, Clayton was able to awake himself from the never-ending grogginess and saunter the rest of the way up the staircase. Whose idea was it to lease a multi-level home? Clearly he was inebriated when he had made that decision. He rarely spent any time upstairs as it seemed, he would occasionally sleep up there if he had not already fallen asleep on the couch. Those few rooms served him only in order to dress himself, and bathe himself. Clayton showered, making sure to rid himself of residual sweat and soreness.

Clayton dried his hair with a towel as he made his way into his closet pulling out a pair of darker jeans, a blue button-down shirt, and his navy sports jacket. He never really understood the concept of dressing up in order to impress someone. He finds himself to be happiest when he is comfortable.

The three knocks jolted him as he finished buttoning up the last button, and boomed down the stairs, "One Second!" He called as he rushed to turn off the music and open the door. A soft grin appeared on his face, which he tried to stop as soon as he could feel it appear,"You look great. Thanks for coming over here, let me just grab my keys and wallet? I wasn't sure if you wanted to go out or stay in?"

Sarah heard Clayton called out for her to hold on for a second - She nodded her head to herself then quickly pulled out a mirror to review over herself. She heard his footsteps approach the door then disposed of the mirror, back in her purse. She fixed her hair a little then smiled when she seen Clayton appear from behind the door. "Thanks. You look great as well." She said while walking in. Sarah heard his words then turned around, shrugging her shoulders. "I mean, what do you want to do?" She asked him with a raised brow.

She went a step further and sat down in a nearby chair, folding her legs one over the other and folded her arms over her chest, leaning back into the chair. She really wanted to stay in tonight instead of going to one of those over priced, sit and wait type of restaurants - But whatever Clayton decided was perfectly fine with her.

Clayton watched her as she walked in and shook his head,"I think you've already decided." The man chuckled to himself as he watched her seemingly strike a pose in the leather chair,"Where would you like to get take out from? I don't really care. Your choice."

He let out a short yawn as he unbuttoned the top buttons of his shirt with his thumb as he re-locked the front door. Then refilled through a few papers,"I don't have any menus with me. Sorry." He didn't keep any around because they were temptations, and it wasn't like he could actually eat any of the food that they would order anyways. Clayton walked back over to the chair,"Ladies choice, preferably local. There's a cafe down the street."

Sarah chuckled along with after her actions then saw as he started unbuttoning his shirt a little bit. She bit her lip then turned to the side, so that he wouldn't see her display. She then turned back towards him as he started talking and nodded her head at every word. "No need to be sorry, Clayton. I don't have menus at my house either." She laughed lightly then got up as she saw him walking towards her. "Well, I could go for some Chinese." She said while walking towards the phone, her heels clicking lightly against the floor.

She picked the phone and dialed the number to the local Chinese place and asked if they delivered - They said yes and she smiled brightly and ordered for them both. She heard the price then thanked the other person behind the phone before hanging up and walking back over towards Clayton. "So, how was practice today?" She asked with a raised brow then sat upon the armrest of the chair, crossing her legs again.

Sooner or later, the doorbell rang and she assumed that it was the Chinese food. "I'll get it." She said while walking towards her person and digging around for money. She found some then walked to the door and opened it while paying the delivery man. "Keep the change." She said with a small smile afterwards then grabbed the food, closing the door behind her. She walked back into the room where Clayton was present then raised the bags up and spoke. "Dinner is served." She joked while turning and placing the food on the table.

"Practice was wonderful, the highlight of my day," Clayton grinned gently rubbing the back of his neck lightly. He actually really loved playing it was a way for him to release his stress. Whenever he told people that they would laugh, but then again he learned to stop saying that.

He was still trying to figure Sarah out, she wasn't that complicated. That wasn't it. It was why she had stuck around for this long. He enjoyed her company, and hoped that she enjoyed his.

Clayton approached the door as Sarah seemed to jump up on the door. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a few bills, and traded her for the bags as he sat them down on the counter. He put their food on plates, and brought them over to the coffee table."Keep the change, and enlighten me on your day," He grinned.

"No, no, your money is not necessary." She said with a soft smile while handing him back the money. From there, she walked back into the kitchen and grabbed two glasses then put a few ice cubes in them. Sarah then grabbed two can cokes and the glasses, balancing them the best way she could as she saw that Clayton had already placed the food on plates and set them on the coffee table. She thought it was rather sweet of him - Not leaving a women to do all the work. She walked over to the coffee table and sat the glasses down then handed him a coke while sitting down beside him, hearing his question.

"Well, work is work. What more can I say other than my boss being a cunt?" She joked while picking up her plate, leaning back a little bit and starting to eat at the food. "My days are usually boring unless I'm with you." She flashed him a small smile then bit her bottom lip after realizing what she said. She didn't even eat anymore, just played around with her food.

She couldn't believe what she just said and kind of wanted to chop her tongue off.

Clayton turned and stood up when he saw her get drinks. Duh! He hadn't even thought of that. He was grateful that she even thought of that. He ran his hand through hair to keep it out of his face. "Thanks," he smiled softly taking the class out of her hand. He sat the glass down on the table, and also grabbed his plate as he leaned back on the couch. He was so exhausted. He hadn't yawned yet so that was good. Clayton took his first bite as she answered his question. Doesn't like her boss, likes spending time with him; what was so bad?

Clayton could t help but grin at her obvious discomfort,"You're adorable." He noted taking a sip of his coke,"However I can't tell if you're embarrassed because you called your boss a cunt or that you admitted you like to spend time with me." He yawned before continuing,"I mean I don't know why you'd be embarrassed by the later of the two, I clearly enjoy spending time with you and honestly you're the only reason why I didn't pass out on this very couch tonight."

"I enjoy spending time with you as well."

She heard his words then smiled while turning away shyly, hoping he didn't notice her small gesture. Her eyes widened when he admitted spending time with her was enjoyable as well. Sarah blushed while still playing over her food, looking over at Clayton with that same blush and smile. She didn't know what to do at this point - It would be kind of pointless to eat because he food probably got cold now. She sighed softly to herself, missing an opportunity to finally kiss Clayton and probably make things official. Sarah rose up from her seat and turned towards him. "Are you finished eating?" She asked him, not even giving him the chance to answer.

She walked into the kitchen and put the scraps of the Chinese food in the trash and put the plates in the sink then grabbed the glasses, doing the same as she did with the plates. She huffed a little while leaning up against the counter, placing her face in her palm, trying to figure out what to do at this point. Feeling like this was so confusing for her and she didn't like it at all.
