Welcome to Port Angeles, Washington!
The culdesac of the sea! Our city is surrounded by mountains and acres of tall trees, where someone could be able to find creeks and caves, but be careful of these woods they are filled with wildlife, especially wolves. We are known for our freezing winters and cold summers, tourists better pack a jacket. We are the home of the Nightside Fireflies! We have some of the nicest malls around, and homely hotels which you can stay as long as you want with breakfast in bed! So come on over and give us a visit! We will be waiting!
Seems pretty normal, right? Wrong...
It's a new year at Nightside High School! You have the same old friends and enemies. Of course you have some new students moving into the City, and better them come to Nightside then the rivaling school Shanecraw High. The home of the Nightside Firefly football team, the number 1 team in the state(I wonder why?)! Though it is known for is athletic football team and performing arts, the academic level is also advanced. 78% of the students at Nightside High School are at least involved in 1 advanced class. It seems that the students who come from the Eastern Manor and the Western Manor are always excelling in some part of what this school has to offer. Whats their secret?
The Eastern Manor is the Home of a Coven of Vampires, and the Western Manor is the home of a Clan of Werewolves. It's a secret so don't tell anyone. These two races watch over the Cities people together, especially when invading vampires and werewolves try to enter, though they are still kind to visitors. Few humans who somehow get involved with these races hold their secrets dear to their hearts, in fear of their friends having to leave forever. Everything seemed to be working like clockwork. But what happens when strange murders, disappearances, and people start acting differently? Will the special students of Nightside High be able to investigate the problem?
The ability of the Vampire is unique to that own Vampire. Some vampires are more stronger then others, some are quicker, some are more flexible, all of them are all around more powerful then humans. Vampires are not allergic to light, though they are slightly paler then the normal human no matter the skin color, though they are still beautiful. Myths such as garlic, crosses, and them not having reflects are untrue. They are able to glamour humans and animals, making easy targets for prey, and their senses are more advanced than a normal humans. Vampires are not able to enter homes unless invited. They can easily blend in with a normal society, although they do have a blood lust, which is their biggest weakness. They do need blood to survive, not necessarily human blood, but human blood is what they crave the most. Just a smell of human blood can get their attention easily. Most vampires didn't choose to be a vampire, either they were attacked or someone tried to save them from a horrible death in their human life. The only way to successfully kill a Vampire is to decapitate them, then burn the body.
*All Vampires live together, you are a Coven. You might not get along with some Werewolves, though you don't hate them, you work together. You could even be friends if you'd like. Note that glamouring does not work on Werewolves.*
Werewolves are known for there athletic ability as a human, seeming to always be an all around physically developed person. In wolf form, werewolves are significantly bigger than regular wolves. They transform upon will, not from a full moon, though this is when they are at their strongest. Werewolves in wolf form are able to talk like a human, but they can mentally communicate with other werewolves if they'd like. Werewolves in their wolf form are very fast, the perfect hunter. With their keen sense of smell they can track anything from miles upon miles away from them. They heal rapidly, and there skin is very durable, though their upper belly is slightly more sensitive the bones are slightly harder. Their eyes are probably their greatest asset, they have the ability to see through objects(including homes) and can see as far as 5 miles away. If a werewolf becomes too upset in their human form they will become uncontrollable and turn against their will. They have the ability to imprint humans, meaning their souls will be linked and the werewolf will forever be devoted to that single human. Pure silver weakens werewolves but does not kill them, the only way to kill a werewolf is to pierce through their heart.
*All Werewolves live together as a Clan. You might not get along with werewolves, though you don't hate them, you work together. You could even be friends if you'd like. Note that you can only imprint on Humans.*

You are the blessed race, your mortality is your blessing, though in this lifestyle that might change.
*You are able to live with your family, or you could live with the Werewolf Clan if you are imprinted on.*
-I DO NOT what unoriginal character. It is nice to have one or two out casted Students, but I don't want everyone being the same. ORIGINALITY PLEASE! Make the role play interesting, bring something new. Please and thank you! ^^-

Hopefully someone will apply for a vampire soon! Its a simply can't enter thing, Welcoming Mats are considered come ins, you can enter your own home and public places, but you already know that :D

Will post in a bit, but I am slightly afraid of being the only vampire..
Also, what happens if a vampire enters a home without permission? Is it similar to Let the right one in, where Eli the vampire girl bleeds heavily until Oskar says she can come in? or can they simply not enter?

I have the first post already made so would you prefer for me to start a IC thread for this role play, or start the role play using the activity TAB? I'll leave the decision up to you guys. :]
Please try to post AT LEAST 75 words per post. In the role play if you do not know a fellow character as a friend/enemy or however then you at least have to know OF them, unless they are completely new to the Vampire/Werewolf scene(which isn't anyone).

Time is a VALUABLE THING! With that being said, we don't want to be stuck in the same place the entire role play do we? NO! Therefore, I will be posting new times at the beginning of my posts, IF the role play deserves to move on, that way we can move through days and through the day quicker. Times will be posted as such:
-Morning: Waking up, getting ready to start the day, School, Lunch.
-Evening: After school, getting dark.
-Night: CLUB TIME! The city people are out trying to have a good time, while the nearby neighborhood sleeps. Early morning follows.
