Personality:
Vivienne is an intelligent yet sweet natured girl. She has none of the guile and wickedness that plagues her siblings personalities, of course this could be largely due to their very different upbringings.
Quiet and reserved, people often consider her dumb and slow witted, especially at Court. However, Vivienne is anything but dumb and slow; like an Eagle, silently she watches and takes in everything and every last detail. Making up her own knowledgeable conclusions and knowing more than most others. Yet, she is no gossip and has no real need for any information she acquires.
Quick witted, with a silver tongue and a somewhat wicked sense of humour that only those closest and most trusted to her get to see. Yet, on a rare occasion, she may bestow a comment or opinion that often leaves the person in awe filled wondering how such a young girl could possess such maturity and deep level of understanding.
Disliking conflict and anything remotely untoward and unpleasant; most of the time, Vivienne is a wallflower. Yet just under the skin runs a blazing fire, that when pushed to far can burn anything in it's path to charcoal . . . a scarcity in and of it's self, however.
A simple girl with a simple upbringing, she greatly dislikes, nay, even loathes life at Court with all it's treachery and deceit rife around every corner. She cannot understand how anyone can live in such an environment, why anyone would possibly want to?
The only thing keeping her from running away is her husband. Vivienne's love for Byron though unrequited and one sided is all encompassing. She would do anything for her husband and being a quick learner her short time at Castle Fantasia has shown her that none can be trusted and there are those who wish to harm or even see Lord Byron dead.
Vivienne has the power to protect him and will do anything within her means to see him safe . . .

History:
The illegitimate child of Queen Mary D'Angelique and Lord Boreas DuPaul; Vivienne has no knowledge at all of her true parentage.
Vivienne grew up in a small, idyllic farming village, surrounded by acres of green arable land, lovely rolling hills and animals scattered across the lush fields. She knew nothing but the life of a village commoner being raised as a farmers daughter and although Vivienne knew the two people who raised her were not her true parents, she felt them to be the true parents of her heart. Bringing her up with love, care and kindness; more then what some real parents gave emotionally to their own real children.
Thus, Vivienne always thought herself blessed and wanted no other life then the one she lived. However, on her sixteenth birthday, her world came crashing down when she was forced to leave her family and the village she grew up in and was dragged to Castle Fantasia to her immortal surprise to become handmaiden to the Princess Kalare.
It soon became apparent that Princess Kalare and her brother Prince Anton did not care for her much; their dislike of the lowly handmaiden was more then palpable to all that wished to notice. Vivienne could not understand what she had done to bring upon her the wrath of the two Royal siblings. Maybe, it was because she was a lowly farmers daughter, who knew nothing of life at Court.
Either way, it mattered little to her. She disliked them and their selfish ways as much as they her. Her dislike of Princess Kalare grew further when she forced Vivienne to marry a man she did not know against her will. The only reason Vivienne finally subsided was when she was told it was Lord Byron Corpenter whom she was to wed. Vivienne had fallen deeply in love with Lord Byron since she first laid eyes on him on the day of her arrival at Castle Fantasia, thinking then she could never possibly have such a man.
Alas, it was obvious he had no feelings for her, amorous or otherwise. Her husband barely talks to her and even rarer is if she gets to see him. He barely acknowledges her existence and rarely graces her with his presence either day or night. Nay, not even on their wedding night . . .
Keeping to herself mostly and concentration on her work, Vivienne has little to do with anyone else. The only person she truly likes at Court is Lord Boreas DuPaul. The only person who seeks her out from time to time to share a kind word and genuine interest in Vivienne's well being, although she had no idea why such a High Lord as himself should have any consideration for a lowly maid as herself.
Vivienne dreams of running away from Court and she surely will one day and the only person she will truly regret loosing contact with and miss would be Lord Boreas DuPaul.
