Sapphira now turned her fulll attention to the boy. Either her questioned was ridiculous or the boy did not understand what a mate what. She sighed. It was truly a simple questioned, perhaps he needed to phrase it a different way. She looked around the room to see if there were any photographs of possible mates or if there were any photographs for that matter. "Do you have a romantic partner?" she asked again. "Ummm what is the term you use? Oh, a girlfriend. Is there a girlfriend I should be concerned of barging in and being upset by my presence here?"

She paused, chuckling slightly as she noticed his wondering eyes. "Sora, does my clothing make you uncomfortable?" she said with a sly grin.

Rin lifted her up and watched her before raising his hand to ruffle his hair back into it's natural smooth style. "Yeah. Thanks." He couldn't resist the shy smile tugging at his lips before he noticed the bothered look and relaxed his expression into a nice smile.

"Alright. Oh, and it's nearby. Just a few miles." He kept up beside her on the way to the car.

Rin glanced left and and right as they exited the building, seeing some of the fans had built up and were waiting for a certain celebrity. It was getting to that point in the afternoon where they get more riled up. He heard one of the girls call out to him and he turned his gaze over to the pair of girls who had been at the cafe with him. "Oh hey, what are you doing here?" He paused and waved for Aura to go on. He didn't want to get her involved in case they got to ruffled.

Rin stepped up to the rope that kept the fans off the main walkway and smirked. "Why'd you run off Rin? Weren't we having fun?" He shifted casually to block the view of the van and chuckled deeply. "I had an appointment." The girls glanced between each other before pointing over his shoulder. "I don't think so." She lowered her voice and leaned closer. "I saw that girl. Your screwing with us aren't you?" He shrugged nonchalantly. "I didn't have that intention but believe what you want. What I said about your beauty was true. Is that why you came this way?" They frowned but didn't retaliate immediately. "No, you went to date a girl. We know. You don't love us anymore." He resisted laughing and instead put his hands behind his head. The way the girl's eyes trailed over his body didn't go unnoticed. "As I said, that was never the case." He huffed getting exasperated with trying to calm the girls down. "Look, I'm sorry but I never had that much intention in being with you girls." He looked away shyly, using his skills to make the sexiest look. "I'm not ready to be with such gorgeous girls just yet. I'm not even that famous yet." He added before they could get angry. He held still as he heard soft sighs. "Oh, Rin! I'm sorry, it doesn't matter if your not famous. Your always going to be ours, right?" He nodded absently before glancing over his shoulder hoping that he hadn't kept Aura waiting too long. "I really have to go. I'll talk to you soon." He waved and pranced away.

Rin got into the car and closed the door with a heavy sigh. "Shina." His manager glanced back at him. "Yes?" He gestured towards the girls who were staring at the van. "Send those girls, the ones I was speaking too, some flowers and a card in a few days. I have to keep up my fan base." Shina glowered at him but nodded. "Alright." With that Rin turned to Aura. "I'm sorry. I hope I didn't keep you long. You ready to go?" He glanced back to Shina. "Go to Delarique." Shina nodded and started the car.

Rin felt the car stop at the shop and he looked at the window to the eloquent storefront where a few expensive looking suits wee hung on the mannequins in the window. "Don't worry. You don't have to get a dress. They have normal clothes." He opened the door and waited of her to get out before heading inside to speak to the manager as they came in. "Hey, Takayuki?" He heard a loud voice boom from the back of the store. "Hey! It's been a while! I know that voice anywhere! Why do you still call me by my last name? We are good friends, no?" The large muscular man came out of the back and stopped near Rin, easily toppling him in height. The giant man patted him on the back and Rin had to struggle not to fall as he laughed. "Gino. It's good to see you too. I need you to get something pretty for the lady. Anything she wants." Gino Takayuki looked up to peer at the girl before looking back down to Rin. "Yukio, you are certainly a ladies man." He nodded, unperturbed at the use of his real name with this man. "I know, what can I say? I love them." Gino nodded as he moved around Rin to scan over Aura with a sense of slight interest. "That is good. Your type has changed though." Rin blinked at looked to Aura. "Perhaps. I doubt it." He waved the idea away and directed his words to Aura. "Anyways, just tell Gino what you want and he'll have it." Gino grunted and looked over his shoulder. "I don't have leotards. Japanese are so shy about their bodies." Rin rolled his eyes. "That's because your just weird Gino." Gino grunted again but didn't reply as he pulled out a ruler. "I need to take your measurements. By the way what will you be getting today?"

Rin watched Gino talk to Aura before heading over to a clothes rack to browse the store. Shina approached him and went to join him, casually chatting with him ever now and then.

Sora was relived when she rephrased her question in a slightly different, less blunt, way, "N-no, I'm not seeing anyone right now. Why do you ask?.." He looked at her curiously, before realising again what she had on, and looking away.

Sora, does my clothing make you uncomfortable? She said, accompanied with a chuckle, "A little bit, yes...But my cheeks are red because of the cold..." Sora knew that he had been out the cold for a while now, and that the windows weren't opened, but he had to stick with it now that he had said it...

Aura wasn't sure what kind of game Rin was playing, but she simply ignored it, and as he returned, she shrugged, “It's not like I'm going anywhere.” She said, a she was led inside a car, and then to a clothing store not far from where they had left. It was defiantly a big end place, and that confirmed that Rin had plenty of money to burn... being a model must bring you a lot of money.

Most people would have been afraid of the big muscular man that towered over them, but Aura was as relaxed as ever. She felt no harmful intent, and that allowed her to relax. A little. She was a little embarrassed at the idea of a man taking her measurements... but if that information was... oh, leaked to her... 'date', then she could always come back when she regained her powers, and unleash divine retribution. … besides, she had a sneaking suspicion that he wasn't a girl type. She got taken to a back room, where she held her arms out, and allowed herself to be measured.

“Anything is fine with me.” She said, when asked about what type of clothes she might like. She didn't really care, so as long as she could feel the wind around her. The bulky man left, and quickly returned wit a couple of clothes that closely matched her figure... and as if agreeing with Rin, most of them were dark, sapphire blue.

She picked out a couple of ones that she really liked: one that was kind of tight, but it still felt natural on her. The second was an outfit sort of like the one she was already wearing: sort of loose fitting, but the color matched her hair almost perfectly, and if defiantly showed off her eyes. A couple of other clothes, and she was all set to go.

As she walked out she said her thanks, and returned to Rin, wondering what he thought about her new clothes, “Thank you for these, Rin....well, shall we go?” She asked.

Sapphira could not help a sly smile from spreading upon her lips. "Yes, it must be the cold," she said. "I mean what else could it be?" She laughed thinking that humans were so easy to manipulate. Almost too easy, really. It was unfair. She sighed, and pushed back her hair, knotting it without the need of an elastic into a bun and put her hands upon her hip, surveying the room again. "I suppose I should have figured you did not have a girlfriend," she said, noticing his discomfort to the term mate. "No girl would want to live in such a mess. But alas, I have no other choice.... I think we have done enough for now."

Sapphira yawned while stretching out on the couch. She was exhausted but refused to show it to him. She decided to return back to the prior topic, treading very carefully with her words. "I only ask if you have a girlfriend because I would not was to upset someone if I happen to stay... longer than anticipated. Mortal jealousy can be such a pain, especially between females. But now I have nothing to worry about, correct?" She smiled, propping herself upon her elbow. "Come now, do not be shy. Sit with me, Sora," she said with a laugh, patting the couch beside her.

Sora edged on to the couch as she requested, I suppose that's a fair reason to ask... He tried to find something to talk about, but kept coming up blank, "Oh yeah, over there is the bedroom..." He pointed in the direction of the door, "That's where you can sleep. I'm usually too tired to make it that far after a game, so I'm used to sleeping on the couch, which means you can sleep in the room. It's colder than the rest of the flat, so I don't use it that much, unless it's the summer." Even then, he rarely used it. It just seemed easier to sleep through here when he was on his own...

"So, do you have anyone the way of family, y'know back where you're from?" He was trying to get to know his guest, but he wasn't too sure how sensitive that subject was too her so he was prepared for her not wanting to answer...

Rin pulled out nice jacket as he let Gino take care of Aura. If she needed him, she would call for him surely? He shrugged nonchalantly and scanned over the jacket with curiosity before putting it back. He had plenty of suits and so didn't need many more but nonetheless he liked seating for the most recent styles. However he shuffled over to the counter giving up on trying to find something and waited patiently.

He turned his head as he heard Gino come walking towards him with a smile. "Yukio. She's a real girl." He rolled his eyes. "I'm sure she is just like all the others." He huffed but the amusement could be heard in his voice. "You know what I mean. You should settle down with this one." Rin waved a hand in dismissal. "Gino. I'm too young. I have lots of different tastes to try out." Gino flicked his forehead bringing forth a sulk from Rin. "Surely it is good to stay young for a long time but you need to find a pretty girl who will love you not for you. Understand?" Gino tilted his head but tapped Rin's shoulder before Rin could come up with another sour comment. "Come. She must be ready." Rin gave him another glower before brighting his expression and looking around Gino's hulking figure.

"It's no problem. He gestured at Shina who was still knee deep in outfits. "Shina, can you?" Shina glanced up then nodded and waved a hand for them to go have fun. He chuckled and turned his warm gaze to Aura, and the dresses she had chosen. "Gino did well, they look gorgeous. Everyone would fall in love with you if they saw you wearing them." He smiled and glanced up to wear Shina was walking towards them. "Well, I have the perfect place to go. It's a nice restaurant that isn't too far. It will be a while but not too long and it has this great view of the city. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is great!" He headed for the car, pausing to look towards Aura. "Come on! I can't wait to show you." His excitement was almost childlike.

What was with him? He switched personalities every two seconds: now he was acting like a little kid begging to go to an amusement park. Still, the compliments were nice, though they seemed a little too will rehearsed.... but they were still nice to hear.

She back back into th limo. Th place Rin had designated DID seem like something she would enjoy, so she couldn't help feel a sinse of excitement herself... was this how normal girls felt after being treated so lavishly? If so, then it wasn't a bad feeling, though she'd feel bad about being spoiled like this all the time.

This was turning out to be a good first day on earth. She had gotten some clothes, and was now being taken to a place with a lot of food... she defiantly had high opes for the future, with or without the womanizer next to hr. “Good thing too, my stomach was just starting to rumble.” Se said with a slight smile

Yup, she could definatly get used to this... it was a lovely feeling, to be sure.

Sapphira tossed her head in the direction of the bedroom. It would not have mattered where she slept since she was used to harsh conditions, but the gesture touched her deeply. "So, do you have anyone the way of family, y'know back where you're from?"

Sapphira blinked, her hands curling into tight fists at the word she hated so much. What was a family? They would simply leave you one day. Sapphira swallowed hard, knowing the was alone in the world. "They are dead," she said simply as if he had ask what the weather was like. "Burned alive in our home while sleeping. My father managed to bring me outside early enough, but went back to find my siblings and mother. The walls collapsed upon them all."

Her fists tightened even more as she stared to the ground. Why was she telling him this instead of lying? It would be much simpler to say that her family was waiting for her to return home

Sora listened to her story saddened, but similarly awed but her resolve, "I'm sorry...but I have to say, you're a stronger person than I could ever be. I don't know what I'd do if I lost my parents..." He didn't dwell on that subject long, though he couldn't think of something to change it to, "Umm...I-I assume, by your clothes, that you're from some place warmer?" He didn't actually have much interest in it, but it was a change of subject, which was desperately needed...

Sapphira glanced down to her revealed body. She felt suddenly exposed and snatched her cloak from the back of the couch and draped it around her shoulders. "You could say that," she said softly. There was no temperature in the Demon realm. Things simply existed. She shivered slightly and closed her eyes, leaning back to rest her head and staring up at the ceiling. This human made her feel miserable. "What about yourself? Why do you live alone at such a young age?" she questioned.

"Pride, mostly." He laughed as he said that, having accepted the fact long ago that he could have moved back in with his parents at any time, "I wanted to stop feeling like I was relying on them, so once I had saved up enough money, I got a flat. Been living like this for...about a year. I'm not sure how my parents would react to me bringing home a stray like yourself, so maybe it's best that my pride held out like it did..." He knew full well that she would probably give him an earful for that comment, so he braced for whatever she could come up with...

Sapphira's own pride flashed at his degrading words. "A stray?! I was trying to leave and then you practically kidnapped me!" she said in anger. "I am not-" her words froze on her lips as she looked back to the television screen. Another ad was flickering by. It was a wonderland of snow with people laughing and passing the camera. It was an advertisement for a nearby skating rink.

"Oh, what is that, walking on frozen water?" she asked in mesmerization. "It looks fun. We should go, Sora. Please, I have no money but it looks so interesting!" She stood up, clasping her cloak as she wondered what it could be like to ice skate. Excitement flashed inside her eyes. Even without her powers, she still felt drawn to her element.

"Okay, I don't see why not..." He stood, collected his coat, and a spare one for Sapphira, "It's cold out, and I don't care if you like it like that, I don't want you getting sick..." He grabbed up his wallet, and moved to the door, allowing her to go out first.

Once at the ice rink, Sora paid for the two of them to get in, and for the rental of ice skates. Uneasily, Sora began to move towards the rink, Okay...Just one foot, the other. One foot, the other... His thought process continued like so while he slowly began to glide across the ice. Slowly he dared to glance up to find Sapphira, but the second that Sora stopped paying attention to his feet, they slipped from beneath him causing him to go sprawling forward. Curling into a ball to ensure that nothing was sliced off by other skaters, he had slowed to the point that he hit gently against the side of the ice rink, with a sigh, Great start...

Sapphira growled as she put on Sora's coat. It was about three sizes too big for her. She needed to roll up the sleeves and it hung loosely on her thin frame making her look slightly disproportionate. In rebellion, she refused to zip the front up. Her eyes danced around in excitement to the other skaters as they neared the rink. She had never done this before, but being her element, it couldn't be that bad. Her steps were rocky, surprised to find how difficult it was. She looked around uneasily at the grace of the others skaters. How could they do it? She was about to question this to Sora when she heard a solid thud. She glanced up and laughed at the human boy as he feel over. At least she wasn't as bad as he was. She smiled and carefully skated over to where he was. "We seem to be evenly matched," she chuckled, holding out her hand to him. As he grabbed it, his added weight caused Sapphira to lose her own balance and topple down. To prevent herself from landing ontop of his skates, she twisted around midair-- only to land softly upon his lap.

Her mouth hung open as she stared at him dumbly for a moment. Suddenly her senses returned as she scrambled to her knees in a mad dash away. It took three failed attempt before she managed to cling to the wall enough to pull herself up. She swallowed hard, looking down to Sora with wide eyes unable to understand the blush blooming inside her cheeks. "I think you can get up on your own," she said quickly.

"Y-yeah..." Sora nodded dumbly as he began to pull himself up with the wall. Regaining his balance, Sora swallowed hard, knowing that he would probably fall again if he skated off by himself, "Umm...May-maybe if we h-hold hands, we can keep each other balanced..."

Sapphira blushed but nodded slowly. She could not understand the way she was reacting to the simple accident. Yes, that's all it was. An accident. She nodded again in determination. She could not run away now, she needed this boy to help unlock her powers. This thought confused her even more as she was determined to have Sora be the one rather than any other foolish human.

She took his hand and started forward very slowly. She stumbled and in an effort to regain balance, she grabbed his arm tightly with both hands. Sapphira blinked shyly and looked up to him while still holding his arm. "Sorry, I haven't done this before," she apologized, mentally scolding herself for the awkwardness she now felt around him.

"Me neither..." He said as she still gripped his arm with both of her's. As they started off again, they managed to keep their balance long enough to start to get up to speed. Unfortunately, he seemed to have a momentary lapse in concentration, which resulted in them both flying forward in another odyssey to the ice. Not wanting Sapphira to get hurt, Sora pulled her close to his body, and curled into as tight a ball as he could whilst holding her.

Hitting the wall hard, head first, Sora's first reaction was to ensure that Sapphira was okay, followed quickly by him checking to see if his head was bleeding. Sure that it wasn't, Sora shook his head to rid himself of any lingering dizziness before turning to Sapphira, "Do you want to keep trying, or should we stop?"

Sapphira looked up to Sora, unsure of herself and her morals. Falling down on ice was shameful for the Demon of Water, but she has been protected by a human to insure she was not harmed. Humans were loathing selfish creatures, not kind and considerate. Right??

She knelt on the ice, not bothered at all that her bare skin was touching the frozen surface. "Sora, are you okay? You hit your head hard. Does it hurt?" She couldn't understand her concern for the boy. Even so, the feeling persisted. "Oh, maybe this was a bad idea. I would like to try again, but if you do not feel well we should go." She took his hand with her, blushed, and then let go of it.

As much as he tried to convince himself felt fine, there was a slight overhang of dizziness that he just couldn't shake, "I-I think we should head back...I just need to lie down for a while..." He said, trying to keep as cheery as possible. They made their way off the ice, returning their skates, and headed back to the flat, "I noticed that you left the coat I gave you unzipped..." He said, his head still a little woozy.

Sapphira looked down to herself and the unzipped jacket. "I do not get cold the way you do," she sighed, unsure how to explain this besides admitting she was a demon. "The cold comforts me. I could lay out in the snow for hours and not be bothered by it or get sick." She looked to him, wondering if any of it made sense. His steps seemed uneasy. Taking a shallow breath, Sapphira slipped herself underneath his arm for support. "Lean against me, you look like you are having trouble walking and we still have awhile until we get to you flat." Her eyes were set in a cold stare forward. "Thank you for taking me skating," she said after a pause.

"No problem, it was my pleasure to take a girl as pretty as you to the ice rink...I'm flattered you asked me...Though it could've probably went better..." Stumbling slightly, he felt Sapphira support his weight, with little effort...

Back at the flat, Sora went down onto the couch gently, before slowly resting his head in the arm of it, with Sapphira's help...
