The nation of Aram is one of the most advanced nations in the middle east, but also one of the most dangerous. The streets are ruled by street gangs and rich mafia bosses. Bombings happen often because of terrorists wanting to bring down the government. No one knows if the terrorists are one or multiple groups and the names of the groups are unknown. The government seems to be flowing with money, spending it for public welfare and to build bigger and better places for tourists, but the image of the nation is killing business. Foreign help groups dont solve anything since they try to negotiate with the terrorists and end up dead, which makes other nations give Aram the blame for their workers deaths. Now the underfunded police force has to get rid of the terrorist threat in hope of getting better pay and equipment.

Aram police force: The Aram police force is an underfunded department of the government. Their police stations are shabby and the paint is coming off the walls of the stations. Every policeman/woman has a H&K USP pistol and a baton. The uniforms are light blue shirts and blue pant/skirts. The uniform is only required for the main police force. Commissioners, Inspectors and Detectives are only required to have their badges on them. Ranks are shown by the amount of stripes. It goes up to seven stripes. Officers have instead of blue stripes, silver stripes. The police cars are either Mitsubishi Lancers or Volkswagen Foxes. The cars are white and have a blue bird (this in blue: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... le.svg.png) on them with writing around it saying in the local language "Aram Police" (Polis Aram).

Ranks: Recruit, Patrolman, Lower Seargeant, Seargeant, First Seargent, Lieutenant, First Lieutenant, (officers): Warrant officer, Head Lieutenant, Captain, Vice Chief, Chief, Superintendant, Officer in Command (of all stations). Non Applicable Ranks: Commissioner (has same authority as station Captain), Inspector (equals a Lieutenant), Detective (in service of Captain and Commissioner)

You can have a different personally owned weapon, but it has to be something someone can afford. No tanks or modern rocket launchers. You can have pistols, old submachine guns or ancient soviet rpgs.
