         Another dragon... Was she just lucky? Since Girotos had come into power, she had never been able to catch the slightest glimpse of a dragon. However, ever since she ahd begun her journey to Ruthis, she had seen two full size dragons, and had found a potential dragon egg.

The stone. She thought.

Althea looked up at Creusa and asked, "Creusa, have you felt anything from that stone we found? Perhaps the little one inside is still alive. I may have felt a pulse, but I could have just been the pulse in my fingers giving me false hopes."

Her grandmother's voice came from behind her. "So, there really is a dragon nearby? How is that possible? Are they not afraid for their lives? Shame on it's companion, placing it's dragon in the dangerous zones of Eden."

Heart companion. The words hadn't registered in her mind until her grandmother repeated it. Not only was it a dragon, but it could be a dragon with a Dragon's Heart Pact? That sort of companionship is also rare. This would be her first time actually hearing about someone who had bonded with a dragon. In a way, she envied those bonded to their dragons. They had a connection that she wished she could experience with such a magnificent creature. At the same time, she did not wish to have a pact with a dragon. How could she ever allow herself to make a pact with a dragon, and threaten it's life that way? Her life span was much younger than that of a dragon, and she is not someone who could defend herself. If her death caused the death of her fellow dragon, she wouldn't be able to bear it.

As if he could sense her feelings, Sirius nuzzled his nose against her side. She laughed and stroked his nose. Yes, Sirius was all she needed.

"Creusa, shall we depart for Ohmah soon?

         Aura listened to Teador's thoughts and reached out to her.

Yes, little one. I know that you are peaceful and wish no harm upon me or my master. Please, join us here now. My master has something to say and we will not remain here much longer.

Delzah and Aura listened to Volos talking about metal coming from some fifteen to twenty individuals. It was an unwelcome coming, but if Volos was right there was a new issue that they would face. In order to evade their sight the group would have to travel outside of their field of vision. That would add about half a day to their travel time but it would be worth it if they could avoid a confrontation. Also, they had to leave now if they were going to get that done.

Delzah turned to Aura and she nodded to him, leaning down close to the ground and extending her wings out to the side and flattening them out so others could use them as walkways to get to her back.

"Everyone, it is time to leave." He said as he gestured towards Aura.

"Get on Aura's back if you have no Dragon of your own to take you. To those Dragons whom are present, stay close to Aura's tail and in her slipstream to avoid using unnecessary energy. We're going to have to take a bit of a detour to avoid the humans that Volos can sense, and we must leave now. If there is anything left you have to do, then get it done because we cannot wait any longer."

Aura's eyes slid over and she looked to Larien for a moment.

Volos needs to get used to flight before he can be trusted to carry you safely. For his sake and yours I must insist that you fly with my master on my head while Volos keeps pace behind me. If he has any problems he'll be able to voice them to me and I will help him however I can. Once he has gotten used to flight, which will likely take no more than about half an hour, he will be able to carry you and you can transfer from my head to his back if he flies underneath me.

With that, Delzah got onto Aura's head in between a few of the spikes on her crown. The others would be able to take up seats along the base of her neck and her back thanks to some of the other spikes running down the length of her back.

         Nearly a month of waiting, the people of the city got the answer to what befell of the Norien king, Nollarr. Finally the doors to the capital oped, and out walked the giant once again, dressed in full armor with his hammer on his back. After a deep breath, the crowd stayed silent as a much smaller man walked form behind him, into the people. In his hand, a piece of parchment. With closed eyes Nollarr kept breathing in deeply, his armor moving with his breaths. Finally the man spoke, raining his voice so all could hear;

"Men, and women of Eden! By order of his magisty, our king has declared Nollarr, former "King of the North" shall be punished for his crime of slaying one of the sacred beasts by being forced to serve as a hand for the dragons themselves! And fo-" Suddenly the man was interrupted as Nollarr pushed him aside with a sigh, taking another deep breath of air before speaking.

"For ages the Humans, the Elves, and my people the Noriens, have been at war... Now, i stand before you a humble man. I know, words will fix nothing, but to fix the life times of torment your people have endured by the hand of mine will be fixed through action. Now, the Noriens have renounced the ways of hunting dragons, and now try to work with them to create a better world for all... Myself included. As of now, i serve the people of Eden. A weapon, that will be wielded in the name of justice..." The crowd started to become restless, and some moved away from the huge man in fear he would do something rash, but all Nollarr would do was stand and watch. But with a final statement, the giant walked forward towards the gates leading out of the city. Alone, he walked through the gates... And out into the country.
