Raijinn is truly a center for diversity. On its east, west and south wall the city is surrounded by the sprawling Aromis desert. To the north, the city hugs the Cafritt river, and beyond that, the Cafritt valley. Currently the Duke of Cafritt controls the city of Raijinn and uses the Patrician to ensure that the city doesn't leave his grasp.

Due south from the city sits the Duke of Aromis, who believes he has claim to Raijinn, but due to the large desert between most of the duchy and Raijinn, has no opportunity to take the city.

The Patrician has gathered six professionals together in a task that seems easy enough: to clear the vermin from underneath the city. Long forgotten tunnels and dungeons sit filled with above-average sized rats and insects, which most exterminators aren't qualified to handle.

Despite the simplicity of the job, there may be something more sinister that lay under the buildings of Raijinn.

Our story starts with the adventurers arriving at the entrance to the dungeons.
Races:

Human:
This race has ruled the world for centuries due to their ability to easily adapt to most environs.
Life Expectancy: 80 years
Height: 5-7'

Goblins:
A green-skinned race with pointed ears and large noses. Goblins have agile fingers and feet, but are capable of withstanding a few hits from a troll.
Life Expectancy: 40 years
Height: 4-5'

Mandrake:
Mandrakes are asexual creatures originally created by arbormancers centuries ago. Their bodies are humanoid, but can vary greatly. The range goes from tough, barky skin to leafy, mostly unprotected bodies.
Life Expectancy: 400 years
Height: 3-7'

Rykin:
A race that originated from humans by living in the desert for millenia. The harsh sun and tough winds have caused them to develop hardened plates that cover their abdomens, arms and legs.
Life Expectancy: 80 years
Height: 5-7'

Feykin:
Race with elfish, delicate features. Their skin and hair consist of shades of blue, green and purple. They have insect-like wings that allow them to fly and their inherently magical nature allows them to absorb most magical attacks.
Life Expectancy: 200 years
Height: 2-3'
