Weaknesses Can't often think in unique or strange ways, and can be quick to judge. Quicker opponents, usually dagger wielders, have a huge advantage against him, since his sword style usually depends on one heavy decisive blow, if a person is able to get inside of his swing arc, he will be hard pressed to deal with them. The longer Karthus uses his armor the longer it takes his body to recover from the enormous strain it of wearing it, long drawn out fights are no kind to him either. The God King's Armor, although giving great resiliency, has one major flaw. In order to retain this power he must continue to fight, if he enters a state where his adrenaline stops flowing, the armor's ability ceases to aid him, and the wearer feels every blow, pain, and fatigue all in a blinding rush as the power fades.

This massive sword can only be wielded by those who are considered exceptionally strong. Many cannot bring themselves to call it a "sword" but choose to call it a massive slab of steel with a handle. It is fairly unremarkable after its massiveness is considered. A large metal ring resides near it's hilt to allow the wielder to clip it onto his back, since traditional sheaths would not be appropriate.

Bio/History Karthus was once a Knight errant to some low noble back before The Conquering. When he was 19 Karthus had been accused of the rape of a local stable girl, which he denied. A brutal village mob demanded his head for the supposed crime. His lord offered him refuge from the blood thirsty crew and allowed him to escape so long as he dropped all honorifics he carried and claimed a new name. The previous Knight errant became the Wandering Mercenary Karthus. He soon became know for defeating anyone in single combat, his prowess grew, it grew to the point where it was said he could take on ten men at once and hardly break a sweat. The rumors and tales of his bloody deeds spread out across the land, and was even, for a time, used to scare little children to learn life lessons. "Karthus the Slaughterer will come and pluck your eyes out," was the traditional scare. "The Slaughterer" was the name given to him by the people who saw his fights, since the seemed to be so once sided that the opposition didn't seem to be fighting at all.
His mercenary life ran for a couple more years, one day a wiry mage, by the name of Azreal, approached him. He sought a person to protect and aid him in a quest to find a certain Tome by a very powerful Archmage. Karthus agreed, he paid well, and it was one of the few people in the world that did not annoy him, and Azreal's philosophy, on most points, agreed with Karthus'. In their travels they became close, friend isn't the word, but they came to respect one another. When Azreal unleashed the demon, Karthus was at his side at every minute preparing himself and others to the change Azreal was about to bring to the world.
During The Conquering Karthus Lead the armies of Azreal's, The God King, armies against countless foes and crushed them all in the unstoppable horde. He was given the title of General Karthus Drivan. As a show of the God King's might Karthus would challenge the leaders of the nations they fought to single combat with the condition that if he was bested they would be spared Azreal's fury. It was never found out if Karthus had any intention to spare them.
He now resides in The God King Azreal's Castle and continues the never endless war against the other nations and factions.
