Why go around it when I can simply go through it?
Ogre Club: Almost every Ogre, be he Bull or Tyrant carries a club as brutal looking as its wielder about his person somewhere. Rockjaw is no different carrying a studded and spiked hand weapon used to bludgeon and dislocate and as such, conventional armour offers little protection against them. Many warriors struck by the Ogreās club have found their shield arm mangled beyond repair or have had their buckled breastplates shatter ribs and damage vital organs even though their armour remain whole.
Ogre Ironfist "The Greedy Fist": Originating from the traditional Ogre sport of pit-fighting, Rockjaw covers his off-hand with a specialized black heavy glove with sabertusk teeth tied to the fingers and thumb. This ancient near sentient gauntlet has a spiked shield painted to depict the great maw itself. This setup can be used to bat aside even the strongest attacks in a similar way to a giant buckler, or merely to smash an enemyās face into an unrecognizable pulp.
To make the combination even more devastating Rockjaw has wedged a Cathayan Longsword between the glove and shield combination. This master- crafted blade, a gift for having fought beside the Grand Armies of Cathay, is highly valued because it will remain eternally sharp. With the strength of an Ogre behind them, this blade can cause one hell of a mess.
Brace of Handguns: Having sold his swords across the Empire Rockjaw has acquired specially modified black powder weapons as recompense for his efforts; these are regarded as symbols of great status due to their ability to emit noise and violence in equal measure. Such is the size and strength of their owner that the Ogre can use them with the ease a human uses a pistol. The weapons consist of a customized Empire handgun with an enlarged trigger and guard sported in a brace across his puffed-out gut.
Leadbelcher Cannon: The great portable cannon also known as āThe Tenderizerā is a one-shot weapon packed with black powder, sharp metal nails, an assortment of wickedly bladed weaponry and even second hand cannon balls. This gigantic gun, crafted from meteoric iron, was earned as a reward from the great forges of the chaos dwarves. With the touch of a smoldering taper generally held within his teeth to the spark holes of the cannon a salvo of hot metal, noise and pure concussive force invariably shreds or blasts apart his opponents. Those enemies that survive this lethal barrage barely have time to reorient themselves before Rockjaw barges through the smoke towards them swinging the massive cannon.
The cannon can be used as a battering ram or a massive two-handed club so heavy even a normal ogre bull would struggle to lift it in close combat. Regardless of whether it is loaded or not, the destructive power bound into its metal enables the bearer to shatter huge boulders with one strike.
Rune Maw- Worn as a gut plate the protective device displays a massive set of jaws of an ancient cave-beast and hung with runic items captured from dwarf holds. The Rune Maw constantly emits a low growl that rises to a predatory roar when it detects magic; spitting the energies back to any who would do its bearer harm with the arcane arts with a loud belch.
Heavy Armour Both Rockjaw's front and back are covered with the thick scales of the āNagaoiseā giving off a dark green color resembling the turtle. Along with these are shoulder plates a helmet, boots, and leggings. To allow movement, the ogre's sides are unprotected same with the back of his legs and inner arms.
Metal Pounders Forged of an unknown alloy, the pair of metal "knuckles" are Bammer's favorite choice of weaponry.
Although he could be mistaken for a mere Bruiser, Rockjaw has been in active service for over sixty years, and has considerable tactical acumen to go along with the lattice-like network of scar tissue. Rockjaw reputation and wealth have grown so considerable that in recent years he has begun to hire his own mercenary armies, including more and more Ogres as the great migration gathers speed. The term āManeaterā was first coined when after a drunken argument, Rockjaw ate his paymaster whole and left carrying his coffers. He insists to this day that his name is misleading for, just like the band of violent thugs that travel with him, Rockjaw really isnāt that fussy about what or who he eats.
The mercenary captain has entered into the Province of Cam Lire in disguise currently appearing to be the paymaster (Rockjaw) in the employ of William the Conqueror (another mercenary of great renown. Rockjaw and his Ogre regiments are rumored to have been marching towards the Empire in anticipation of the upcoming conflict but no official sighting has been made to confirm such allegations or if he will even side with the humans.
