Introduction
10 years after the events of Dirge of Cerberus, Shin-Ra managed to eradicate the remaining Deepground Soldiers, and completed Neo-Midgar, located just between Fort Condor and Junon, due to the original city's destruction by Civil War between the rebuilding Shin-Ra and several Rebel factions. The citizens of Neo-Midgar are in very similar contempt of Shin-Ra as they were in the original city, just a little more complacent.
An additional 5 years later, Karken Syn- SOLDIER 1st Class, and 1 other 1st (New Turk number 2) have been dispatched to Corel Mountains to eliminate a small rebel faction taking refuge near the peaks. Shortly into their mission, the two 1st-class SOLDIERs receive SMS messages from Tseng of the Turks, extending a personal order of withdrawal and meeting with Tseng himself. (This is where the Roleplay will begin) Before long, they are extracted from Costa del Sol via Shin-Ra helicopter. They are taken to the Neo-Midgar Shin-Ra building (very similar in form to the original, only 52 floors) to meet with Tseng. Upon entering Tseng's office, they learn that they, along with one other person (New turk number 3), also in the room, extracted from a mission near the North Crater (I'll let them fill in the blanks there), have been selected to become members of the Shin-Ra's executive Special Ops unit, the Turks. Recently, Reno, Rude, and Elena retired from their positions to Wutai, to enjoy lives of luxury and drunken stupor.
Their first Mission, Tseng explains, regards a missing SOLDIER 1st Class Operative, who was also assigned to a mission near Corel. However, after 6 weeks on the field, the SOLDIER went AWOL, and it has been 3 weeks since anyone has heard from the SOLDIER. Tseng continues to explain that the missing SOLDIER was being considered to take a role as a new Turk, and was their one choice above Karken (meaning that if they hadn't gone AWOL, New Turk number 3 would not be in the office at the time in question), and that he believes the SOLDIER has headed for Cosmo Canyon, for unknown reasons (I'll let the player decide what they are) After changing uniforms and brief introductions, the three new turks find themselves on the first copter to Cosmo Canyon.
~Ok, CHARACTERS~
I know I'm lame for picking a name already for the president, but oh well :B
There will be 6 Player Characters in this roleplay, therefore there will be 6 Players. There will also be several NPCs that I will add to the Characters tab as they become relevant.
1. Myself, Karken Syn, New Turk 1
2. Two other new turks, one of which is Karken's partner in Corel
3. The Missing SOLDIER (Taken)
4. Lucas Shinra (If no one claims this, I will be playing this character)
5. Tseng (On second thought, I'm just gonna take Tseng now)
The Roleplay will begin with myself and my SOLDIER partner in Corel, shortly before receiving correspondence from Tseng (If someone besides myself claims Tseng, I will cue them via PM, and I will also cue in New Turk 3 and also the point at which the Missing SOLDIER may start posting.)
I hope to see some great RP soon :B
