{Physical Description}: Relos was never the tallest person growing up, but with age he has grown tall enough to stand level or above the average person. At 5'11'', and weighing 143 lbs, his build is best described as a lazy runner. He has a layer of lean muscle that shows he is fit but not muscular; the level of his strength lowers as you move up his body, with his legs being his strongest point. His skin is peachey and has few blemishes or flaws, and he tends to burn easily in the sun without protection. His hair is tomato red and fals just below his shoulderblades; it is naturally curly and likes to bend whichever way it pleases, giving his hair a very fluffly look. Even when he tries to straighten it or comb it, it only looks slightly more subdued. His eyes are pale blue, like a pond in cold weather, and contrast his firey hair nicely.
Relos is fond of sleeveless shirts or vests, but will always where elbow-length gloves or detatched sleeves with them to cover the skin of his arms from the sun, and because of that his shoulders are tanner than his arms. Unlike with his shirts, he doesn't have a preference of either long or short pants, and tends to where whatever looks good on him. He likes festive and bright colors in his clothing, so he had lots of bright yellows, pinks, and blues in his wardrobe. To keep his long bangs out of his eyes, he ties them back with a headband. He'll use whatever he has near to tie them, from a bandana to a strap of cloth or a rag, but he considers it as much a part of his wardrobe as the rest of his outfit, so it will always match what he is wearing. There is nothing he wears everyday, but sometimes he'll wear a piece of jewlry, usually a ring or bracelet.
{Personality}: The most important thing to Relos is, to put it simply, himself. Growing up as a prince, he was spoiled everyday by his parents, and most people looked down on him for that. That resentment infuriated Relos, yet he could not bring himself to let go of his pampering, so rather than abandon his good life he decided to prove to people that he deserved respect and attention by being the best at things he put his mind to. That goal coupled with the fact that he could have whatever he wanted lead Relos to become very full of himself. He is one of those people who will never accept a loss, and will go to any means to win a competition of any kind. He has full confidence in his abilities, so he tends to hold other people's to a lower standard, which can make him appear a bit too prideful.
Despite his competitive nature, he is actually pretty easy going. As a pampered prince, he does not carry the harshities that normal people carry. He does not condone any stereotypes or discriminations, because to him all people are part of one group: his competitors. He will make friends with anyone and everyone, and since he likes being the center of attention, he wants to make as many friends as he can. His sense of humor carries him through darker situations and is one of his endearing qualities. He tends to be hotheaded, and for some people that makes him hard to deal with.
{Powers}: As a Vyx, Relos is able to use his words to shape and change the world around him. He is not the most powerful Vyx by far, but he is decent enough to use his powers to help him out in situations. Since he is a relatively young Vyx, he is not able to channel his powers as much as someone who is older. Relos has become a rather good poet due to the mechanics of a Vyx's magic, and has gotten creative with using his gift. He thinks in twisted and backwards ways when it comes to casting spells, which gives him the upper hand when it comes to using magic.
{Abilities}: Relos worked hard to make himself the best he could in order to prove he wasn't inept just because he was a prince, so he is quite skilled in different forms of contest. He is good at all forms of sports, although his favorite is swordplay. He's actually quite intelligent, a fact that usually shocks most people when he proves it. He isn't very musically inclined, and he'd seem amatureish at best next to a Càntin, but he's good enough for his own standards.
{History}: Relos was born the prince of Zaiphar to the King and Queen, who wasted no oppurtunity to give their precious child everything he wanted. When anyone but his parents looked at him, they only saw a spoiled prince that couldn't take care of himself. That resentment bothered the young prince enough to make him want to prove them wrong, and inspired him to be the best he could be. In a way, you could say those people made him a better person than his parents would have. Even after he became an adult, he continued to act much as he always had.
The reason he fell in love with swordplay actually comes from what he considers his most important challenge to date. The captain of the guard had been the first person to openly tease Relos about being a spoiled brat, and had led others in doing it as well. It was that man who started it all, and Relos identified him as the one he had to prove wrong. When Relos turned 18, he challanged the captain to a duel. The captain agreed, and set the terms of the battle: they'd use swords, and first blood from the torso wins. Naturally, Relos lost epically because he'd never tried to use a sword before. After that humiliating loss, Relos spent a month training with a sword night and day, so that he'd be ready for a rematch. The captain accepted his request for a re-do, believing that there was no way he could lose to the prince. Only now the positions were reversed, and the captain was the one who was too full of himself; after Relos beat him, the man never spoke ill of him again. Or at least, to his face.

{Other}: Swordsmanship is his favorite form of combat, so he has invested more of his time into perfecting that than anything else.
