~Introduction~

The Blood Moon rises every five hundred years to watch over the earth.
It is a marvelous event to watch take fold.
Those though, who don’t watch are not always asleep or on the other side of the world.
But are in fact, dead, and passing through a gate that could only be opened during the blood moon.
While there is a hell and heaven, some of those who die during the blood moon, do not go to either plane of existence.
But to a new one, that humans on earth have no knowledge of.
So as those who die during the blood moon, their souls escape their bodies.
From there they either go to heaven or hell.
But the select few travel to the blood moon, to be greeted by an ancient race, who is at war with their descendants.
Little do these souls know that their fates have been decided and will take on an ominous role.

That role is to destroy the ancient's descendants that have grown to be over confident.
The ancients themselves have, over time, lost the knowledge of warfare, and only know how to protect themselves.
They have little to no aggression, while their lesser selves, grew cocky and wanted the knowledge of the ancients and all of the power that they had to offer, but would not.
With their abilities they held off the descendants attacks, but they grew tired with every passing year, that to them, compared to earthen years, were much longer.
With this the ancient ritual of the Blood Soul Transfer was coming around, they used the Blood Moon lunar eclipse to open a portal were their high priest was allowed to pass through and gather souls, that they in turn with training and time can use as weapons to finally rid them of their nuisances.
