Introduction
Illania: A continent with many nations and city states. It is mostly green and mountainous with only the larger nations possessing vast flatlands.
Fuse knights: Fuse knights use the art of magical fusion ranging from combining elements to combining weapons and even fusing people with their weapons or gadgets. They have kept the peace in Illania and no one has really dared to challenge them until now. There are various academies for fuse knights. The order is more of a nation in itself and they can disobey orders from any nation at any time if they feel that the cause is unjust. There are two kinds of fuse knights: Mercenary fuse knights and order fuse knights. Order fuse knight follow the laws of the order and have a specific dress code (no loose clothing or jewelry, wear knights armor).
Races:
Humans: Humans are the majority in Illania. They also head most of the nations. Thousands of years ago they were enslaved to the Agreus people who are even nowadays not trusted by many humans.
Agreus: The Agreus are a human like species with a natural affinity to magic. They had once enslaved humans but that lies thousands of years back and nowadays they are peaceful. There is a lot of prejudice towards the Agreus such as they can't be trusted or that they only go where the money is. While this is not completely true, some Agreus have a hatred of humans and live in a life of crime.
The tamed: The tamed are of human and of Agreus origin. Generally they are murderers and thieves serving their punishment. They are usually noticeable by a red crystal implanted in their forehead that give them a painful shock if they have thoughts of bad intent. There are also tamed who wear collars. They tend to have heavy punishment, damned to servitude for ten or twenty years. In most parts, this is the hardest punishment available as death is believe to be the easy way out.
Robots: Robots exist. They are magical android usually serving as a partner or servant to citizens. They usually tend to have a specific amount of autonomy, some even having feelings. They are generally to be differentiated from the half-human machinas.
Machinas: A type of cyborg. Usually fuse knights or humans who sought enhancement for various reasons. They came to be as the result of either fusing with multiple devices or with metal.
The mountain fortress Acana: A large citadel on a mountain visible from many leagues away. It is a home to fuse knights and generally one of the many academies.
