Ella Moon; by day a gorgeous human with pale skin and blue eyes, and by night a dangerous white wolf. The human side enjoyed watching anime, reading manga, complaining about school, and writing books. The wolf side, on the other hand, enjoyed ripping out the throats of other animals, hunting down prey, complaining about her pack not being strong enough, and howling at the moon. The nature of the wolf side was much more different than the nature of the human side, and the transformation that Ella made every night was painful. But, it was a beautiful pain. There was no other way to explain it. The feeling of your bones and muscles reshaping themselves, the feeling of your teeth becoming stronger and larger, your senses growing sharper, growing so much warmer because of all the fur, and so much power suddenly entering into your body for you to control. It was all so overwhelmingly, beautifully painful.

But Ella needed her humanity more than anything in this world. She wasn't born to be a wolf, despite what the pack leader had always told her when they weren't in wolf form. She felt more and more of her humanity slipping away each transformation. She felt herself becoming more animal-like each time that first zap of electricity entered her body to trigger the transformation. Her wolf side and her human side were forming to become one, and she didn't know if she liked that idea. What would happen when one of them tried to beat the other so that only one would control the body? The wolf would win, of course. She had to find a way to stop her two selves from ripping each other apart, which sounded nearly impossible. It also made her sound like she had a mental disorder. But, where did that leave her?

So far, she didn't have anyone to help her regain the half of her humanity that was gone. Her parents didn't even know she was a wolf, and if she went to them with this kind of problem, they would for sure put her into a mental asylum. She knew how things worked with them. So, her parents were out of the game. Who the hell was supposed to help her regain half of her humanity? Was there anyone in this world that would take on such a duty for her?
