Maaka is an extremely instinctual person. If she's sad she'll cry, if she's happy she'll smile, tired-sleep, and if she's hungry she'll eat. Which brings me to my next point, she eats like a horse! No one is quite sure how she remains so skinny, but she does. A common joke is that she's a black hole of endless hunger.
Her instinctualism makes her a bad liar, and by that I mean bad at lying. So she just remains very honest to begin with, and likes honesty in others. She's generally a very cheery individual, but is also terribly shy. Yet at the same time quite shameless. She is very easy to get along with and is an excellent listener. She is very down to earth and fears that she is too plain. But on stage....
Family Life:
Maaka grew up with two parents, five little brothers, and two little sisters. That's not even counting the pets. So needless to say she was not in the richest of households, but it was ok since everyones cares for one another. She's the eldest of her siblings, meaning that she learned from an early age to be very responsable. It didn't leave much room for her to pay attention to her own needs though. She's twenty and moved out now, it was a bit lonely but at least she has Momo, her trusty little dog!
Friends:
Maaka had tons of friends in high school, but has kinda lost touch with them. Her best friend is Kaori, she sees him occasionally but mostly he's busy, little does he know that she's been busy too! It's been killing her not to burst out her secret that she's in a singing group, but she wants him to see her perform first. He always did say that she should try after all, she was just to shy up until now.
Relationships:
...Pshaw, who needs those. *sigh* Maaka apparently because she's never had a boyfriend before. She isn't sure why no one has even asked her yet. But anyway she has a crush on Kaori, but he's...well, not interested in girls. She's torn between hating him for making her feel in the shadows, and wanting to desperatly help him with his problems. This is all deep down though, she supresses it quite well, one of the only things she can lie about.

Maaka is an animal on the dance floor! In a good way I mean, she seems to forget everything else when she dances. She is also the owrld's worst cook, that kind of thing has to count for a skill right? XD She tries, in fact she likes to cook, but the stuff she makes is simply ineddible. Just ask Kaori...
