Personality- Most people think wolves are dangerous creatures because they’re violent and prone to attack others more often than you blink.

That, my friend, is the mindset of an ignorant human.

Though we do have our tempers, the natural wolf is not constantly aggressive. You must remember that we live in packs; should we always butt head and aim to kill, how are we ever going to get anything done? How would we protect the group? How would we survive? No, most of the times, a growl and a snarl is enough to solve the problem; rarely is violence ever needed.

I am the same. I use words, expressions, body language, to convey everything I need. I’m a Lycan, not a barbaric human. What do I have need for to attack people left and right every time a situation comes up? That is not efficient. I resort to my claws and fangs only when necessary, only when I feel that my life is on the line or if that is the only way out. I have yet to actually kill anyone; I’ve injured and brutally wounded, but never killed. I’m saving it for the king.

Sarcasm seems to be my only companion these days, besides hatred. Most of the time people don’t even realize that I’m using sarcasm, because there is no roll of the eyes or an annoyed scoff. It’s just my expectant face; they can take my comments whichever way they desire. Sometimes, I can’t even tell if I’m using sarcasm or not…

There’s not much else to me. I can be kind and playful and I look out for my own, but with all this hatred, this feeling of bitter revenge – it’s all I’ve never known. It took over my mind at a young age and refused to let go, and now it has completely taken my childhood. I don’t have time to discover myself, figure out where I’m going, who I am, who I want to be; I don’t have the desire for any of that. All I want, all I think about is my revenge. I’ll do anything to achieve it.

Appearance is Description- I’m not the tallest and the most intimidating – standing at an amazing height of 5’7, I don’t strike fear in the hearts of people or Lycans. Brown hair and brown eyes, there’s not much that would reveal my dark, inner thoughts of the kingdom and its residents. There is an odd air around me though, one of knowledge. At least, that’s what people say. Really, the only reason I have an aura like that is because I’m constantly thinking about the many ways I’ll torture Xavier before finally killing him. Then again, maybe I’ll just keep him live in a dungeon and go down and mess with him when I’m bored.
Bio.- Let me make this clear for you.

I will be the one to kill Xavier, the current faux king. Lycan blood sat on the throne for centuries, and Lycan blood will continue to flow through the veins of this kingdom. This human, this hairless mutt, thinks himself clever for murdering my king in cold blood; he shall know the true taste of hell. In a wolf pack, the leader is often challenged by others to keep his spot; if he dies, it merely means he was unfit to lead the pack. Much in the same way, I will devour the human called Xavier and take over as the new and rightful king and guide my people out of this abyss we have been forced into.

We are majestic creatures, powerful in every way possible, and yet we must bend to the whims of a madman and his pathetic subjects? How ridiculous. The very idea that Xavier thought he could succeed and get away without repercussions is absurd and utterly laughable.

When the last king was brutally murdered in his sleep, my family wept for the longest of times. That human had taken away our leader, our ruler, the one that gave our people protection, replacing a once great Wolf with one that was feeble and cruel, one whose neck could easily be snapped in two if given the chance. We couldn’t believe that he had died at the hands of such a puny beast -- but humans are clever. What they lack in strength, they make up with their devious brains, always plotting for ways to get ahead, to kill, listening to the whispers of Greed over their shoulders.

I vowed to take over, and I’ve been training every day for a lifetime to get to where I am now, all for the opportunity to eat that man’s head and free my kind.
