A hundred years had passed since the Angels escaped annihilation on their world and settled upon Elysium. For decades, the Angels prospered in their new home alongside the native races. But peace would not last. An ancient evil had corrupted one of the Angel’s greatest leaders and turned her against her kind. The massive war that ensued forever changed the once peaceful land of Elysium.
The Angels, together with the races of Elysium, eventually emerged victorious in the Great War, but it was not without great sacrifice. The survivors continued to be tormented by their loss, until finally the Angels’ conflicting ideologies split them into three kingdoms.

The Tempest Kingdom - Founded By Apocalypta, Angel Of War
Victoria blamed the corruption of their leader on the humans. When the war ended, she took her followers to the north and established the Tempest Kingdom. Her people share some radical ideologies. First is the right of the Angels to rule over the lesser races; they cannot be trusted to govern themselves. Second, peace cannot be achieved without conflict.

The Midas Kingdom - Founded By Athena, Angel Of Protection
After the great war left Elysium in ruins, the Angel Athena took the intiative to restore the land back to its former beauty. She created the kingdom of Midas and opened its gates to all races. The citizens of Midas were all equals and given the freedom to develop on their own. Under Athena’s wisdom and guidance, the Midas Kingdom grew into the largest and most prosperous of the three Angel Kingdoms.

The Celestial Kingdom - Founded by Fortuna, Angel Of Fate
Fortuna considered her race responsible for bringing devastation to Elysium. In order to make amends after the Great War, Fortuna established an asylum for all refugees. She felt it was her duty to help those who had lost everything. Her act of grace eventually led to the rise of the Celestial Kingdom

The Three Angel Kingdoms hold unique ideals and characteristics, and each draw different Angels and Heroes under their banner. Their story has only just begun. Different Classes Of Angels

SERAPHIM – sometimes called “the burning ones” because they are closest to God and radiate Pure Light. These are the Angels who constantly sing God’s praise, and whose duty it is to regulate the heavens.

CHERUBIM – sent to guard the gates of Eden. Originally they were depicted as the bearers of God’s Throne, as the charioteers, and as powerful beings with four wings and four faces. However, in modern times, Cheribum have evolved into chubby babies with wings.

THRONES – called the ‘many eyed ones’ have the duty of carrying out God’s decisions. They are often represented as firey wheels.

DOMINIONS – their job is to regulate the duties of the other Angels and ensure that God’s wishes are carried out.

VIRTUES – the Angels of Grace who bring God’s blessings to Earth, usually in the form of miracles. Known as the ‘brilliant’ or “shinning'” ones, they are associated with acts of heroism and bring courage when needed.

POWERS – their job is to prevent the other species from taking over the world and keeping the Universe in balance. They are also seen as the Angels of birth and death

PRINCIPALITIES – the Guardian Angels of cities, nations and rulers, and guards against the invasion of evil angels.

ARCHANGELS – probably the best known of all Angels. They carry God’s most important messages to humans. They also command God’s ‘armies’ of Angels in the constant battle with the “sons of darkness.”

ANGELS – the Celestial Beings closest to humans. They act as intermediaries between the Almighty and humanity. Often called “Guardian Angels.”
