The slums of any city as ruthless and cruel. Gangs, drugs, murder, suicide. All slums are the same. Any aspiring artist has to experience it one time or another... right?


A melody is playing and you go to check it out. You have never heard music of this genre before. Being in the "family" you are only allowed to know what father wants you to know. This melody brings you to meet a new friend. This friend is not allowed to be your friend. They want to be your friend though and they don't care if it puts their life in danger. You tell them to be your friend they must join the family. They have never heard of the family. They ask you what the family is. You respond with silence. There is no answer because the family is not anything specifically. The family does not really exist to outsiders. The family is. They egg you on, wanting to know more. You respond with punching them in the face and threatening them with your brand new gun. You just turned 17, thus earning the right to your own custom rifle. Instead of cowering in fear, they compliment your gun and ask questions of innocent interest. You answer to your best of your ability, since after all you just received it only a few days before this encounter. You let him sit up and he starts playing again. You ask what he is playing.
He responds,"Guitar."
You then ask, "What song?"
He responds, "No song, just random chords."
To you this is puzzling, but you accept his answer. He then asks you a question.
"Do you play an interment?"
You respond, "Of course not."
He than says, "Maybe you should."
He than picks up his guitar and makes his exit. He doesn't know that he just changed your life forever. You immidiatly rush home and start trying to teach yourself guitar. You pick it up within days and by the end of the 2nd month of playing you understand. You understand that the guitar is not just a instrument, but also a soul. You have gotten good enough to play in front of others, but would you dare? If father found out, how would he react? Still, you decide to practice in secret. That is until you see the new friend, playing random chords that you now understood in the same street corner. This time he looked shooken up, and there was blood on his forehead. You knew right then that he was in a family. The question was, which one?



Okay! This is a horrible intro! I know, but its late. I'll edit it later if I must. This is a music RP. It involves the mafia, gigs, bands, shooting, and maybe death. Exciting :D
The band comes together at the corner on a random occasion (if you believe in random) and pretty much become best friends but with ups and downs. I know its weird most of the characters and male. That makes the female all more interesting right?

Families: these are the different gangs you can belong to. the rival/ally thing is going to majorly cross over, I am sorry if this doesn't look organized I spent forever staring at it trying to figure out who hates/likes who!

Out of these families, Conti is probably the nicest (they only consider one family as their rival) while as Bruno is everyone's rival and probably hates everyone as well. Esposito (best name ever) is very very very family oriented. Outsiders are a no go. Gallo and Marino are brother families, the leaders are half brothers.
