When Hideyoshi was young, he met a girl in his village and befriended her. They played often and she protected him when he got into trouble. One day, the girl offered him a contract. He would just have to sign his soul over to her and she will help him get anything he wanted. He jokingly agreed, thinking it was just play. However, the girl was a demon and he agreed to a contract that would make her his master in exchange for fulfilling his dreams. Hideyoshi always wanted to be a samurai lord and upon his eighteenth birthday, the demon has popped back into his life to fulfill his dream. He however doesn't believe her untie he gets punishment for trying to go against her. Now with the demon always beside him, he's out to become a samurai lord. On their way, they meet several allies, including an exorcist who proves themself powerless against the demon's contract with Hideyoshi.

Daimon Domain: A large land under the shogun, ruled by the glorious Daimon Clan. The land is mostly rural, but relatively safe against foreign invaders. The landscape is commonly flat but dotted with mountains and the ocean to the east.

Starting point: The village of Hentohama on the eighteenth birthday of Hideyoshi.

Characters:

Hideyoshi: The son of a tailor. He and his four siblings were often the envy of the village because of the quality of their clothes. He dreams to become a prestigious samurai lord someday. His father always tells him that the most he is likely to become is a merchant or a tailor like himself.

The demon: A girl Hideyoshi often played with in his childhood. Now a woman infatuated with Hideyoshi. Will always support him and will punish him if he goes against her. Has a tendency towards a yandere personality: Hideyoshi is hers forever and she will not let any other women take him away from her.
