Laura kept running from whatever was chasing her. She didn't have a clue why it wanted her or what it would do to her, but she didn't want to find out. She ran faster and turned down an alleyway. She looked back and tripped over a trash can, falling and bringing it crashing down with her. She looked up and there he was, the person that was chasing her. She crawled, backing up from him, scared.

Aurelie saw a girl trip in a nearby alley with a man closing in on her. The girl was crawling as quicky as she could and it was obvious the man was not friendly.
"Excuse me," She asked, not at all politely. "But what are you doing?" She took a step forward, attempting to be intimidating. It was pointless because she was only five feet tall and was very young. She knew she had some sort of a secret weapon and the element of surprise was on her side.

Zach blinked and turned sharply and stepped onto the sidewalk. He had senced that something was wrong so he dicided to go find out what. Walking as fast as he could, without running at his full speed.

Laura didn't want the girl hurt. "Just go!" she told the other girl.

Zach blinks and sees the commotion going on in the alley, deciding to help he steps across the street. Looking at the three, he crosses his arms. "What's goin on here" He asked kinda sharp as he looked at them.

Laura isn't sure what to say. If she said something, would he only kill her and them? "H-he was chasing me..." she said, looking at the guy that was chasing her.

Holly is walking down the side walk and notices a group of people looking over at a girl on the ground. Curious she goes to them. "Is everything okay?" she asks.

Aurelie stood her ground, being her usual stubborn self. "I'm not leaving if he's chasing you." She was being very outgoing for once. She took a step in the direction of the man. "Listen, buddy. Lay one hand on her and it'll be the last thing you do." The threat was almost comical coming from such a small girl.

Zach blinked and looked at the man, glaring a little. He was a vampire just like him. He looks over at Aurelie and chuckles, her bravness was just awsome. But, With a sigh he stepped infront of Aurelie and pulled Laura to her feet as he looks at the other vampire. "I think it would be best if you leaved... Don't wanna cause a scene here...." He said softly, his dark eyes watching him.

Aurelie leaned around the mysterious boy that stepped in front of her. Her purple converse made a squeaking noise in some mysterious liquid as she moved. She glared at the man hovering over the girl with bright violet eyes. "Please don't do this," she said to the mysterious man. She caught the glimpse of fangs from the man before her. Vampire she thought to herself. She had read about them in her grandfather's book, but didn't remember anything except the basics: blood sucking and fangs.

Laura trembled in fear. What was going on? She hid behind the others, hugging herself, afraid.

Zach continued to glare at the other vampire as he held Laura behind him, making sure no one got hurt. He knew that he had to get the other to leave somehow. "You guys need to go..." He said softly to them, not taking his eyes off of the vampire.

(OH MY GOD, I AM GOING TO KILL ALL OF YOU *lines them all up and slaps across the face* STOP WITH THE ONE LINERS, I SWEAR)

Nausica pulled her old leather shirt closer to her. The evening air was frigid in the small town of Sunset Falls. Nausica had only been in America for a few years but she already despised the sudden changes in climate that take place in the west of the country. During the day it could be 80 degrees and at night 50. Ishendra clip clopped along on the side of the road. It was dark tonight, and not a car drove by. An ominous night.

She stopped outside of a small old resturant on main street. The building had been there for years and it hadn't changed once since it was built in the late 50s. The owners, an old gentlemen and his wife were nice and every Friday they would whip up a new special. Sometimes she wondered if it was time to get up and leave, maybe she knew the old couple too long, maybe they knew something was wrong with her. But as before she just couldn't make the decision to up and leave. Nausica had grown to like this small town. Nothing happened fast, and everyone knew each other. It was nice, people here were genuine, they were real.

Nausica heard a light rustling noise from a nearby alley. Normally she would have left it, but Sunset Falls was a small town. There was no rustling in alleyways. She wasn't sure but after tying up Ishendra to a post she slung her bow unto her back. As to not be seen, Nausica headed to a fire escape ladder three stories away and climbed to the roof. While it was dark and this would normally be dangerous, Nausica had developed a very keen eyesight in night, and even if she didn't fall, she wouldn't die or anything. Jumping to the building overlooking the alley she felt a presence...or well smelled it, for the first time in a very long time. Vampire, with fresh blood. She quickly swung her bow around and notched an arrow to the line. At this distance, she didn't need any special bows, the head and shaft would pierce straight through it's body. However she was not ready to see so many individuals in the alley. While it was easy to spot the vampire, she was not ready to loose on it yet. With her bow bent with force she merely maintained her quiet motions and controlled her hearbeat. Not even the vampire would be able to sense her. If it tried something, she would surely wound it.

(I declare the end to the one liners. NOW. at least post a paragraph....NOT ONE OR TWO SENTENCES...jeez gag me with a spoon, only time you need to make posts that short is if we are in a fast paced fight....even then 3 sentences should be easyish.)

(Um, I wasn't feeling well and couldn't think of anything else to add. Plus when someone is in shock, which Laura is, they can't really take in their surrounds or even focus that well, so that would be hard to make super long her thinking about one or two things. And this is my roleplay and I don't mind one or two lines if someone can't think of something. I'm sorry if I offend you, but I did create, so I don't mind if someone can't think of anything else. Anyone can post as much or as little as they want.)

Laura looked around at the people, too stunned to really take anything in. What was going on? What kind of place was this? What kind of people where they? She wanted to leave, but couldn't remember how exactly...She couldn't think or anything...She was so scared. What was going to happen to her now? She trembled in fear and felt tears fall from her eyes from fright.

(It's okay, I'm sorry I yelled... It's pet peeve this sight has given me)

Tears were forming in the eyes of the girl who was being chased. She was obviously very scared. This did not improve Nausica's feelings. She really wanted to help but was at the same time worried about what would happen if she got involved. She debated what would be best in this situation but finally, against her own teachings, she decided to wait and watch. Maybe she wouldn't have to get too involved. She readjusted her position and thought over what she could say to diffuse this bomb...even if she did want to gut that vampire.

(I would save you.....but the good vampire is supposed to I think.....)

Zach sighed and looked around them as he backed up some, pushing Luara back with him just to be safe. He didn't want the girl to get hurt, at all. Most vampires would pick on him because he was a "nice" Vampire but, he didn't care. He was himself, and he wouldnt let anyone change that. With a sigh, Zach focused his hues back on the vampire that was chasing after the human girl. "Well... Are you gonna leave withought picking a fight?" He snapped at the other vampire.

Laura heard the other one growl out something about finding an easier meal, then he just disappeared. She blinked and he was gone. She was even more scared by that somehow...It wasn't the fact that he was gone...it was the way he left. She still trembled in fear, not really understanding what was going on. She looked around frightened at the other people that came to her rescue.

Zach sighed and ran a hand through his black hair, wondering if that other vampire was gonna come back. He knew that there was a possibility so he was gonna keep an eye on this human girl just in case. He turned and looked at Laura now, his dark eyes slightly glowing and then dying, no glow in them. "Come... Lets get you home..." He said softly as he reached for the girls arm.

Laura backed up, still frightened, and fell again. She looked up at him, frightened. She didn't know him. What if he tried to hurt her like the other guy did. She wasn't sure, but her heart was beating fast from fright as she looked around again and pulled her knees to his chest and rocked back and forth slightly, still in shock and in total fear of someone coming after her again.

Zach sighs softly and bent down tot he girl, hearing her thoughts. He picked her up and held her close against his chest. "I won't let anyone hurt you..." He whispered into his ear, glancing at the rest of the beings around him, wondering if anyone else was gonna help or just stand there.

Aurelie was running her hand in her messenger bag, looking for something. When she found it, she puled out an old, leather-bound book with yellowing pages. A spellbook. She flipped expertly through the pages and found one for keeping somethng away. She still hadn't been aware that the boy carrying the girl was a vampire. "I can do a spell to make any vampire stay away from her." She hadn't meant to reveal that she was a wtich, it had just kind of blurted out. She waited for the stares and wide eyes.

Zack blinked as his head looked over at her. "Just bad vampires right?" He asked her softly. By now he knew that she was a witch, and she probably knew he was a vampire by now. He looks back down at the girl that he was carrying and sighed softly.

Nausica watched as the vampire very quickly made it's escape. Seeing her rapidly closing oppurtunity as the vampire was clearing away she released her arrow at it. The vampire was much more skilled then she had anticipated however and sensed the change in air pressure. It quickly moved to avoid the bolt before turning on her. It snarled, it's eyes flashing and teeth showing. Nausica returned the stare, reaching for her sword. The vampire however decided against the attack though and disappeared entirely. Cursing, Nausica slung the bow over her back again and was about to walk away when something else caught her attention.

One of the girls below had mentioned something about a spell. She leaned back over the edge and down, all senses placed on overhearing this conversation. Vampires and witches were extremely rare people. So rare in fact that they are considered to be mythical by a large majority of humans. Having a vampire and a witch being in the same place at the same time. The chances were astronomical, even with the worst of estimates. Her hunger forgotten, she watched as the events unfolded.

Aurelie shrugged. "All vampires," She looked at the girl. "She apparently draws their attention, plus I've never met a vampire in person. I don't know if they can be good." She blushed, feeling ignorant. Her lack of knowledge was embarrassing. She had a huge spellbook and only read certain paragraphs.
