The Forest of Death, a common site of conflict and violence whether it be training or a sheer thirst for blood that drives it the location has seen many a fight. However no matter the occasion these battles have all been the part of a grand story about the life of some individual or another. This is a simple fact of life that none can avoid and none shall be able to stop. The world is hard on shinobi and regular people alike but the question is if they're hard back. Can they withstand the constant assault of unfairness and injustice that will rain down upon them day after day? Shall they remain on the ground being pummeled by life as it has it's merry way with them or shall they stand up and fight for their lives, their futures, and their dreams. Some believe that it is always the destiny of a family to have a least one tragedy and maybe for most that is so but for one family it was the opposite. The Kurch family has suffered tragedy after tragedy in a long line of horrible atrocities that never ends. It all started with a mere boy who lost his parents much like many stories with a great impact on the future the only difference is the type of impact made. The family had been very fortunate and very prosperous until that year but as it is said all good things must come to an end. That year the family was nearly wiped out in a single encounter with a rival village. Only two of the family survived and escaped poor and starving with a pregnant woman and a loyal husband they would survive. Shortly after the birth of this first child the woman conceived again and repeated the occasion however the third child almost killed the woman and as a result her Tailed demon was transferred over right after the third and final birth. However instead of it being transferred to the eldest it was given to the middle child to spite the father. The children's father was a horrible man ruled only by feelings of great anger and revenge that slowly but surely caused him to turn on his own children and try to kill them. The eldest child fought as hard as she could to try and protect the other two but when it became clear she couldn't win the youngest child tried to grant aid but only succeeded in burning the oldest child's chest and the middle child's side and chin. Upon seeing his father get ready to kill his sisters and his only family he had left the child stood and endured the pain accidentally inflicted on him when he finally heard the voice of the tailed beast advising him on what to do. "Kill them all before they try to take your power and destroy us both. Do it before I take over and do it for you fool!" It was Shukaku the one tailed beast and the creature was hoping to intimidate the boy as he had his last host but instead the beast had only pulled the last straw and gotten the child ready to finish what his siblings had started. The boy had learned some fairly low level jutsu up to that point and knew nothing of true importance except for one technique he'd read from a scroll his mother had owned. The boy closed his eyes for a split second and remembered exactly what he'd read before trying his absolute hardest to try and replicate it perfectly. The father paused as a very odd noise began to fill the room fallowed by a scream and heavy footsteps. His son charged at the man full speed holding a highly unstable chidori in his right hand as the father tried to use hand seals in a last ditch effort at survival. The man just barely succeeded in sealing his very soul into the mask he was wearing at the time and right after the jutsu was complete the chidori made impact impaling the man's chest brutally. The boy was greatly wounded as a large amount of skin and flesh peeled from his hand due to the impact he'd made with the chidori.



The boy survived and recovered with his hand extremely scarred a deep red on the palm. His sibling also made it out alive the oldest with scars from the burns still fresh on her body and knowing full well that they won't ever fade. His story is a tragic one but not all of this story is his much of it revolves around the other jinchūriki and their lives but the world is hard and full of threats so maybe these strong few can keep it safe. Maybe they'll help plunge it into the depths of hell itself or not the answer is up to you.
