My mother was queen of a golden age. If I am able, she shall not be the last queen of that golden age.
Appearance: Lorenn does not look like a Snow Faerie on first glance. Red hair, brown eyes, lightly tanned. In fact, one would think her a Summer Faerie long before they suspected her true lineage. She is tall, but has enough flesh on her to balance herself out, making her sturdy. She has some muscle within her, but not really enough to call her powerful. She holds herself with hard-learned grace, but in-built strength, dressed in the whites and icy blues of her culture. Her face is quite delicate, but her expressions are fairly easy to read. She has learned techniques not to be quite so open, but as yet she has not mastered such a skill. Her hands are skilled, but not extremely long. As the queen of Loriasse, she holds her head high and stands with her shoulders back, proudly displaying the amulet that bears her land's crest.

Her preferred outfit is a snowy white gown, designed for freedom of movement, over white trousers and boots. On top of this, she wears an ice blue vest and a grey fur cape. However, it is a rare occasion when she can wear this outfit, as she usually has to dress for meetings with dignitaries and balls with courtiers. Two things that remain omnipresent are her amulet, declaring her to be from the Lorisian royal family, and her signet ring, which she received when she was named crown princess. One thing she particularly abhors wearing is the crown, as it is extremely extravagant. And thus, heavy. And distracting, as it has many dangling jewels that hang in her peripheral vision, and jingle whenever she moves her head. One royal accessory she does enjoy wearing, however, is the ceremonial sword that often sits at her hip in it's white sheath.
Personality: Lorenn tries to be the best queen she can be, as she has been taught since birth. She tries to always be courteous, mindful and wise. These are the things she tries to be. In reality, Lorenn is abrasive, impulsive, hot tempered, and vengeful. She does not suffer fools lightly, and would make no secret of it if those fools did not have titles and lands to hide behind. She gets angry easily, barely holding herself in check when something offends her. She bottles up most of her emotions, but when among those she feels she can trust with them, she is open and honest to a fault. She may have all this anger in her, but at the same time, she holds a great compassion for her fellow beings. She feels personally responsible for every preventable pain her people endure, be it war, hunger, or sickness. She wants only what is best for her people, and this is why she tries so hard to be the best queen she can be. She keenly feels the loss of her mother, and still sees the crown as ultimately her mother's. As such, she often has trouble remembering exactly what she is to do. When Lorenn does something, she pours her heart and soul into it, she does not do things by halves. She tries to be unflappable, but she is extremely insecure in her power. She did not ask to be queen so young, and she wishes her mother were at least still there to tell her what to do.
Family: Queen Lorinne of Loriasse (Deceased)
History: Queen Lorinne left her kingdom for three weeks, with her most trusted advisors looking after it in her absence. When she returned, she was glowing with pride as she announced that she was with child. This caused an uproar within Loriasse, especially amongst the court, but she remained implacably happy. She assured those who came to discuss it with her that the child growing within her would be a perfectly suitable heir, and that the father need not be contacted, he'd know who he was. Nobody knows if he did or not, for no one ever came forward as the princess' father. Lorenn was born, and quickly became a controversial child. For some, she was proof of the queen being overly impulsive, possibly mad, and unfit to rule. To others, she was the darling lovechild of Lorinne and her secret lover, whom would clearly step into the limelight soon enough to wed their fair queen. However, to Lorinne, only a few opinions on Lorenn truly mattered, and they were her advisors, whom tentatively accepted that the little girl would nip any power struggles in the bud, especially when it came to her mother's hand in marriage. Lorenn's red hair set many people making theories on who the father could be when the Snow Faeries were an almost entirely blonde or black haired people. However, over time, Lorenn's existence, and her red hair, came to be accepted. Her people stopped seeing her as a scandal, and instead as their young princess. Then, a few months before she turned 16, Queen Lorinne was killed by bandits during a routine tour of the outer villages of Loriasse. Let's just say, there are no more bandits in Loriasse. Lorenn was crowned queen within the week, despite a few quiet protests from courtiers who held onto their anger from her birth. She has ruled Loriasse ever since, striving to fill her mother's shoes in everything she does.
Strengths:
- Lorenn is well versed in how to act in high society.
- Lorenn has been taught strategy, though she's never really had to use this knowledge practically.
- Lorenn can use ice magic, though she is far from the most powerful user.
- Lorenn's ice magic also makes her much more capable in icy surroundings, allowing her to see through blizzards much better.
Weaknesses:
- Lorenn is very easy to goad.
- Lorenn can be extremely indecisive, trying to figure out what the right thing to do is.
- Lorenn can be pretty gullible.
- Lorenn is very compassionate.
Fears:
- Loriasse falling apart.
- Losing the throne to someone who will harm her people.
- Her people turning on her, because she was that bad a ruler.
- Forgetting her mother.

- Carrying on her mother's legacy.

- Her horse, Jadis.
- This one scares her, but when people cower in front of her. She knows it's not right, but a part of her sees that as proof that she can pull off power.
Goals: Be as great a queen as her mother, which she pursues singlemindedly.
Quirks:
- She enjoys a ride on her horse every morning she can.
- You can always find at least a book of Lorisian history among her possessions, usually there are more.
- Her red hair is so distinctive in Loriasse that lorenn is often referred to as "The Red Princess", even now that she is the queen.

I am the daughter of Loriasse's greatest queen. I refuse to shame her with my reign.
