The world was quiet, and still. Nothing stirred. Not even the Pokemon of the night.
There was something eerie coming...

At first it came as a gentle wind brushing the leaves of the trees making them rustle ever so slightly, then it turned into a full scale storm ripping up everything within its path. This storm was not like any anyone had ever seen, it circled the entire region with a purple aura burning and killing.

When it was over the planet had been... changed. What had once been thought of as a catastrophic event turned out to be a saviour to the Pokemon population. All of what had been ripped to pieces had been restored bringing up new beautiful life to replace the damage. Rivers ran smoothly renewed with life and free of pollution. The air was clean and enjoyable, instead of the rough miasma of before.

In this alternate world, the humans treated the Pokemon not as equals but as beasts even aliens of the planet. They hurt them, killed them, and tortured them in the worst ways imaginable.

But now there is only peace, the intelligent Pokemon of the many regions were saved. They began their new life by creating villages, carefully nurturing their world instead of destroying it as the humans had once done. They lived happily in the villages they built, bartering, playing, and truly - for the first time - running free without worry of capture.

There is however one troublesome matter.
Rumours are starting to spread, of savage Pokemon rampaging their precious lands. Striking terror into the hearts of many, these uncontrollable creatures steal the young and weak, tearing apart homes, destroying the earth...

But in a world seperate from the timeline of Kanto, humans lived. They worked alongside their Pokemon companions treating them as one of their own. In turn the Pokemon battled for them, protecting them from the larger predators of their Kanto.

However just like the present we have all come to know and love. The 'Trainers' as they were called, took part in competitions against each other, testing their trust of Pokemon and human alike.

Many took on jobs suited for the location they lived in. There are ones entitled: 'Pokemon Rangers' whom ask the Pokemon around their village to help keep the environment free of danger and obstacles. Others rode larger omnivorous, or herbivorous Pokemon travelling from village to village in order to deliver letters of various importance, typically these are called: 'Pokemon Riders'.

Children of the villages are often accompanied by small Pokemon trained to guard and play with the youths. Some Pokemon even choose to live amongst the people, helping them with every day problems.

But there are still terrible people out there capturing and selling Pokemon for their own benefit with the most dangerous beasts at their side... These are known as the Pokemon Hunters.

There is, nevertheless, a great tragedy awaiting to occur...
The Pokemon of legends are slowly starting to awaken, and with them broken time.

Small gaps in time and space are beginning to appear within both worlds taking people from both, and transporting them to the parallel region....

Dangers are all around, what can be done to stop them?
