Roleplay based on manga by Yumi Tamura, “7 Seeds”, though one doesn't have to be familiar with the manga for this roleplay.

Meteors pummel against the earth. Volcano’s erupt. The seas and the oceans swallow up countries.

Ash and debris fills the sky, blocking out the sun and killing the many creatures that cannot adapt to survive without it. The land grows cold. Another ice age dawns upon it.

When the smoke clears, the world that we once knew has ceased to exist.

Ice begins to thaw, revealing cities that lay in ruins. The wildlife begins to thrive. Carnivorous plants and giant, gluttonous insects terrorize the smaller life forms that scurry across thick jungle floors. Dinosaur-like reptiles stalk across desert like plains. They are nothing human kind has ever seen before, yet familiar.

And the humans… there is no sign of human life. Though, somewhere… a human heart starts to beat, as they and the others awake from their long sleep.

Scientists and meteorologists had long predicted that this would one day happen. Almost the whole world was left oblivious to their fast approaching doom.

Those government officials that were aware of the prediction created various shelters and made many measures to ensure the safety of the human race during this crisis. All those measures had failed. All except for one, put into motion a long time ago. Project Seeds.

Project Seeds: A project where the government kept three teams of five healthy youths and one guide stored in capsules by the use of cryopreservation to insure the continuation of the human race. Include the phrase, "My name is 'character's name'" at the bottom of your profile sheet if you read this.

When a sensor on these capsules sensed that the world’s atmosphere was once again safe for humans, granted that these capsules somehow remained intact, the capsules occupant would be thawed and released.

It would be the role of these subjects as a team to colonize the world once again.

All subjects for this project were chosen based upon various skills and careers they acquired during their lifetime.

Two of the three teams (excluding the guides) were unaware that they were chosen for this project. The last thing they remember after being awoken in this new world was falling asleep in their beds at home. Will they be able to accept this new lifestyle? Will they be able to come to grips with what has happened?

The last team was trained their whole lives especially for this mission by the government. They are supposed to be the ultimate survivors. But will it end up being more than they expected? Will they grow to regret their choice, and wish to have died along with their loved ones?

Moderators Note: I will be accepting up to nine roleplayers for this roleplay, which includes myself meaning I will accept up to eight more people. Each roleplayer will be asked to play two parts (from two different teams) unless someone has already requested by me to take on the task of three parts, leaving one extra spot. Add: “and I am the Ultimate Survivor” after what you had put earlier, at the bottom, so that I know you read this. Since there are many characters to be played and nine is a large number of roleplayers, I will put your character up for adoption if you display a weeks worth of inactivity without notice.

Roleplay Note: All teams are located near each other, though on different landmasses. Traveling by water would be required to reach the others.

PS: It is the guide’s job to inform the teams about what has happened to the earth and about what their purpose it. They are also there to, well guide them of course. Guides are the only characters I am providing an occupation for.

Team C: Awoke amidst the rubble of what used to be a human bunker established before the meteor strike. The bunker is empty, aside from the skeletal remains of those who lived there. They had died from air toxicity. The bunker is now falling apart. Team C already knows what has happened. They were trained for this.
