Long, long ago, perhaps even in a different world entirely, peace engulfed the world. Deities walked among their subjects hand in hand, ruling gently while filling their lands with magic and wonder. Protecting their creations, it seemed like there was nothing that could possibly go wrong.

That is, until the Gods of Demons and Death arrived into this glorious world.

You see, neither of which were to fond of the species of humans, who were one of the first few creatures the other gods and goddesses made. In fact, they both would of preferred to see the creatures dead and suffering then being treated as equals. They were flawed beings, nothing more. Unfortunately, not everyone shared such a view.

But, it was of no matter to the brothers. They were simply aces when it came to... "bending" the roles. They created a species known as demons to eradicate them of their own "will". Truly, the word "will" was used lightly at the time, as it seemed like they were mindless beasts only listening to their "masters".

The world swiftly fell into pure chaos.
War would be quick to follow, as no one seemed to take kindly to such rash actions. Neither human nor God would stand for such inhumanity, yet is seemed that their actions came a step... too late. In fact, as they planned and prepared, the two brothers were starting their attack right where it hurt.

Their shrines.

Without a deity's shrine, the deity itself would be quick to parish for possibly eternity if action was not quickly taken to resort them. Needless to say, countless deities died within the coming months, as did humans. Eventually, only two deities remained. Brother and sister, opposites. She was the Goddess of Peace, while he was the God of War. Together, they managed to trick the brothers.

The God of War had claimed he wished to join them in their quest to end the world of the humans, though it was far from the truth, the turn the conversation went was horribly wrong. You see, once the deaths of the God of War and the Goddess of Peace's comrades began to occur, the Goddess decided to.. make a "fail-safe".

A Sacred Jewel.

The Sacred Jewel was meant to help the Goddess if her brother, War, would finally fall. If Demon and Death saw through their ruse. The Jewel would allow an impossible wish, an impossible dream of some sort to come true. Such a bring someone within Death's domain back to life... And the pair of evil brothers wanted the jewel for themselves, though never fulling disclosing why. That, made the God of War uneasy... but, he had one of the most brilliant ideas he'd ever have.

Secretly contacting his sister, they had planned to bring the jewel to a mountain, far, far above the clouds. For, on the top of the mountain itself rested the end of the malicious Gods. Their own shrine. Deceiving the brothers that his sister would bring them the jewel in order to preserve her own life, the trap was set. Once both parties reached the temple, the Gods of Demons and Death were trapped. The Goddess of Peace had made it her duty to seal them away within a box, holding two small jewels.

With the help of her brother, it wasn't much of a struggle as they had finally "vanquished" the evil. Now, years later, demons have gained wills of their own, one had even fallen in love with the voice of the Demon God emanating from the box. Of course, the Goddess of Peace made sure to hide such a dangerous seal...

Never in a thousand years would she have believed a mere human could unlock such dangerous forces.[/font]

[font=timesnewroman]Climbing into temples and shrines she didn't belong in, the human had dug a hole that seems to go all the way to the Earth's core, and then some. Being forced to obey the biding of the Darkness, will she turn for help or simply betray her friends.
