Introduction
Sorry if I don't go into much detail, I'm not the best at taking things from my mind and putting it on paper. I will be more than happy to go into more detail if you ask.
I'm new to this site, and I don't really know how things work around here. If I am doing anything wrong, I will do my best to fix it.
The Ehrtahn
There are three levels of Ehrtahn. True, Demi, and Basic. They are all born with their powers, a Basic is not capable of becoming a Demi, and a Demi cannot become a True. Ehrtahn are impossible to distinguish from a human, so they commonly interbreed.
True- Most powerful, also the most rare. They have control over all six Elements. There is usually only one per generation. This proves difficult, since True Ehrtahns can live for hundreds of years.
Demi- Less rare, but also powerful. Demis have control over two elements. However, this does not limit their power. When two Elements are combined, a third Element is created. For example, Water and Air creates Ice, Fire and Light creates Electricity. The Ehrtahn can choose to master each basic element individually, or the combination.
Basic- Due to me lacking creativity to come up with a cooler name. They only have one Element, but still pretty impressive. Because they only have one Element, they are able to quickly master it, therefore becoming quite powerful very quickly.
Their Powers
Along with the control of their Element, each Ehrtahn has extra features.
Soul Weapon- Each Elemental has one weapon bound to their soul. This means they are able to summon and dispel the weapon at will, meaning they never loose it. The bound weapon is also impossible to destroy, they cannot be broken, bent, dented, dulled or cut. In rare occasions, two weapons are bound, but only if the weapon is small or simple such as daggers or shields.
Familiar- Every Elemental has a Familiar. This familiar is basically a pet. Depending on the level of their power, (True, Demi or Basic) the familiar varies.
Basic- Large Cats such as Tigers, Snow Leopards, Cheetahs, etc.
Demi- Dogs, such as Wolves, German Shepard and Hyenas.
True- Birds. Anything from Parrots to Eagles to Peacocks.
Avatar- This is the most powerful ability an Ehrtahn can learn. This transforms the Ehrtahn's body to resemble that of their Element, increasing their physical abilities. This includes Demis, their Avatar representing that of their combined Element. For example, an Ice Elemental may look like a Yeti, or a creature made from Ice.
Height of their Power- When an Ehrtahn reaches their true power, their name changes to match their personality and occupation. For example, Teacher. Teacher is a true Ehrtahn, and he has taught others of their powers for years.
Relationships
Contrary to the stereotypes, a Water and a Fire Ehrtahn could be capable of getting married. Light and Dark Elementals could be the best of friends. However I am not going to force them to be friends. A team of Six Basics, one from each Element, could be rivals against a group of three Demis.
Ehrtahn and Human
To date, no human has any confirmed knowledge of the world of Ehrtahn. There are conspiracy theorists that have their estimations, but no solid proof. Therefore, Humans and Elementals can interbreed, resulting in later generations being born an Ehrtahn, although very rarely.
Places
There are really only two places that matter to an Ehrtahn. Silver Valley and The Bermuda Triangle.
Silver Valley
This is a safe haven for Elementals everywhere. Silver Valley is hidden deep in the Rocky Mountains, impossible for a human to reach. Here there is a large stone tower, home to the current True Ehrtahn. The rest of the valley houses a small town, so that an Ehrtahn can rest and recover from humans.
The Bermuda Triangle
This houses the only prison capable of holding an Ehrtahn. This place is feared by both Elementals and Humans. Humans because of the mystery that surrounds it, and for Ehrtahn because it is usually a life sentence if sent there. The prison entrance is located on an island that no human has ever set foot on. The prison itself is under the island.
Laws
The only law that an Ehrtahn needs to follow is secrecy. No humans can know about the race that has lived with them since the beginning of time.
Story
Strange storms have been brewing over the Bermuda Triangle for a long time. Teacher, a True Ehrtahn, has refused to answer any of his fellow Ehrtahn's questions. But when the largest storm the world has ever seen attacks the Bermuda Triangle, the most dangerous Ehrtahn escapes.
Master.
Now, Master has rallied nearly half the Elemental population. This group call themselves the Ripplers. Their goal is destroy and enslave the humans, while the Order of the Six strives to keep the only law they enforce. What will the outcome be? Will the Order of the Six triumph over the Ripplers? Or will the Ripplers prevail?
