Introduction
So, what's the story?
American seventeen year-old Adam Decker has lived a troubled, messed up life. His parents were loan sharks/gangsters who would lie, cheat, steal, manipulate and kill in order to make money. Ever since Adam was old enough, he was trained to be a criminal just like them. Adam lived his life jacking cars, beating innocents for money and numerous other acts. He didn't enjoy this, he was fighting to survive from both other gangs and his own parents. The only thing that kept him sane was a few friends that shown him what innocent life is like. It seemed like he was going to live out this horrible life forever.
Then, a miracle happened. His parents were finally caught red-handed and were sentenced to a life in prison. The authorities that arrested them did not know of the acts that Adam had committed and believed that they had abused him while doing their crimes. They made a search of other family members to adopt him, the only one that matched up was his uncle, Kevin who moved to Japan nearly 15 years ago. With no one else to look after him, Adam was sent to the Land of the Rising Sun.
Despite being an outsider and not knowing a whole lot about Japanese customs, he generally get's along well with people because, history aside, he's a very likable guy who respects everyone. One day at his new school, he met and fell for another student: Reya Kobayashi. He quickly became friends with her but they quickly became... more than that.
What he doesn't know and what causes the events that occur was her secret that she was too ashamed to admit. Reya Kobayashi (actual name is Minako Makuda) is actually the daughter of the most rich, feared and powerful Yakuza kumicho (leader): Yasunori Makuda. The truth is that a large bounty had been put on Minako's head by their arch-enemy criminal faction: Hiryo. Hiryo has been fighting with the Yakuza for many years and when they found out that the kumicho has a daughter, they hired assassins from all over the world to murder her and deal a blow to the Yakuza. After figuring this out, Makuda had her daughter act on an alias and had her pretend to be a normal high school student to avoid assassination. Minako despises what her father does and is completely against the Yakuza or any gang but that is the only thing that is keeping her alive.
When Adam discovers Kobayashi's secret, he not only becomes a target by her father and Minako's siblings but he could also potentially starts a massive-scale gang war between Yakuza and Hiryo.
Roles
Adam Decker- The main character of the story, an American teenager with a troubled past. he was transferred Japan to live with his uncle. He thought he could start over in another country. When got together another girl in class, he thought that the hellish nightmare that was his life would finally end and things would finally go well. But as it turns out, things got much, much worse. Played by: The Protagonist.
Minako Makuda/Reya Kobayashi- Seventeen year-old daughter of Yakuza leader Yasunori Makuda and love interest of the main character. Her father had her put into hiding by giving her the alias surname "Kobayashi" and act as a normal high school student to avoid assassination. She despises what her father does and the terrible acts of the Yakuza. Everything else is customizable. Played by:
Makuda's Son- Nineteen year-old son of Yasunori Makuda who is poised to take the place of his father in the future. He has an undying loyalty to his father and the Yakuza and has been trained to be a deadly killer. Everything else is customizable. Played by:
Makuda's Illegitimate Daughter- Sixteen year-old daughter of Yasunori Makuda and a female triad who died long ago. Ethnically she is half-Chinese, half-Japanese which has caused her to be treated badly by the other members of the Yakuza. She is very deadly for her age. Everything else is customizable. Played by:
Yasunori Makuda- The feared leader of the Yakuza with almost no moral qualms except for his full-blooded children. He wants Adam dead for knowing to much and possibly starting a full scale gang war with Hiryo. Only partially customizable; his name cannot be changed, he has to be in the older age areas and his personality can only be partially modified to keep true to his character. Played by:
Assassins- Expert assassins that have been hired by Hiryo to kill the beloved daughter of Yasunori Makuda. The minimum age for them is twenty-five but other than that they are completely customizable which includes whether they stay loyal to Hiryo. Also, they don't have to be Japanese since they hired assassins from around the world. Three maximum.
Assassin #1-Simon Riley
Students- Other students who attend high school and are friends with the main characters. They also get involved in the gang war. Ages must be either sixteen, seventeen or eighteen. Everything else is customizable. Five maximum.
Others- Different characters from the mains, assassins and students. Could be a civilian, a Yakuza or Hiryo member etc. but have some role in the story.

Rules:
-My word is law. I will be as fair and reasonable as possible.
-No powers or ki-blasts or anything like that please. The setting is Realistic Japan, not Shounen Anime Japan.
-No auto-hitting, god-modding or meta-gaming. That goes without saying.
-Be nice to the other players. Even if your characters are mortal enemies in the rp, that doesn't need to be taken to OOC.
-150 words minimum.
-If you have any ideas for the story then tell me, I might be interested.
-If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask.
-You must be active if you are going to join. Prepare for get messages if you are gone to long. At least one post every two days please, preferably more.
-Roles must be reserved before the character is made.
-No perfect characters, nobody is perfect.
-Given that romance is one of the driving forces of the story, romance is not only allowed but encouraged. Do not go into explicit scenes however, if you do get their then just put "And the scene fades to black".

I have no problem RPing all of Makuda's people on a NPC-level..........or if you have some people you're waiting on for CS's, cool. I just want to know, honestly, if you think you'll be wanting to start this one.....
