Personality

A honest man of Justice, Daniel patrols the streets of Newhaven to keep the city clean from criminals and to help keep the peace while creating a more secure society for everyone. He's kind, generous and believes in his cause with all of his heart. Some people might call him a "fanatic", yet most people tend to say he's just very dedicated to his duties as a White Knight. However, Daniel can be ruthless, merciless and stone-cold if the situation he's in both calls for it or he has no other choice.

Daniel has a battle hardened mind and he never gives up. He's a man of his words and his words tend to be wise ones.

Equipment

Daniel wears a bulky and large silver shimmering plate armor. On his chest hangs a leather necklace with a cross at it's end. His armor covers everything from top to toe on him. However, he only ever wear his helmet in battle because he wants the people in Newhaven to see him in the eyes instead of staring at a steel facade known as a helmet. On his back, his trusted shield hangs loosely. On the shield, Newhavens Insignia are shown. Daniel keeps it hanging loosely so he can easily access it when he needs to without any trouble. Around his waist belt there's a silver hammer attached. On it there's several holy markings that were used by the White Knights in the old days.

The Markings say, "With this fist of steel, I shall forge justice and peace through the blood of my enemies."

The Hammer is not magic nor is it enchanted in any way. It's a simple old hammer used by the old white knights. if used correctly however, it becomes a very deadly weapon to anyone standing in it's users way.

History

Daniel was born into a noble family and was early sent to a private school in Newhaven to be education. It was decided very early that Daniel would serve the king and the church upon reaching the right age. He was education in history, language, several dialects that were spoken around Valcrest, noble manners and the ways of society until he became 18 years old. That's when he was brought into the Newhaven military as a guards captain under the Church and the king of that time. Soon enough he began to develop a faith in the gods after speaking with many monks and priests that walked the halls of the cathedral and the church itself, when being off-duty.

When he reached the age of 33, Daniel was converted from the Newhaven military into the White Knight ranks under the newly appointed king. From there on he served as both a General out in the battlefield as well as the White Knight captain in the city. However, as time passed on, Daniels free time began to fade away. If he wasn't planning strategics with the other generals, he was training the armies recruits, giving out orders to the Black knights captain or checking up on the other White knights in the city. Thus, he resigned from being the Captain of the White Knights and became an ordinary one again. Soon enough other younger men began to join the small group of White Knights and Daniel made the decision to leave the military duties and ranks to them. He went back to being just a White Knight who remained in the city as both its first and last line of defence. However, the were many times when the new Knights came to Daniel for advice on certain matters and he was kind enough to help them.

Years passed by and the war with Blackpond never seemed to end. Activities from the feared Wolf Pack began to rise and this troubled many people. The day the king was assassinated by the Wolf pack, Daniel had been patrolling the streets and when the news of his beloved kings death reached him, he was devastated to say the least. Yet he remained vigilant and began to put his efforts into securing the city while most people mourned or began to hunt the Pack.

Daniel is found these days patrolling the streets of Newhaven as always, but behind the societies back, Daniel has several agents and spies who serves him as the ever watchful eyes of Newhaven. If someone new and suspicious arrives in Newhaven, if someone gives birth to a baby or if someone even steals something, Daniel is always the first who knows it.
