Throughout the walls of the tall buildings within the city echoes the horrified yelp of a young woman. She’d been running for only a few seconds, foolish enough to think she could escape. The blame wasn’t solely upon her though, he made her believe she stood a chance; planted the thought in her mind even. It was the moment her feet took action on the thought that she was pinned against the wall face to face with something not even the worst of nightmares could accurately describe. The fangs bare deep within her neck, a precise yet unnecessarily brutal strike that relinquishes the blood from their safe domain in her veins.

The woman flails around a bit, her natural human instincts telling her to fight it. This doesn’t last long however; she grows tired quickly and is easily being over powered by the predator that has her within his grasp. In the back of her mind she’s begging him to let go, maybe he’s just getting his fix and will leave her in the alleyway with a sliver of a chance to survive? It becomes apparent very soon that this isn’t her fate; this beast seems to have no control over his animalistic cravings. The worst part about it is; he does.

In one swift motion the beast whips back his head, a giant chunk of the woman’s neck following. It’s released and falls to the concrete below as he body follows suit with a sickening thud upon impact. The beast removes a handkerchief from his pocket rubbing the blood away before jamming it back in his pocket; strolling down the street on his merry way with not even a care in the world.
