Introduction
The zombies have lost their source of food … their bodies are decaying faster and faster, but they continue living, depending on the state of their brains. Some of them lie in the streets, their bodies withering, their minds following quickly.
Some of them have decayed to the point where they are dead, their minds no more. Others are more recently-made zombies, which have yet to decay quite as much. These zombies are still able to think clearly… they still have their minds intact. However, because of this they know that to survive they must consume… something. They know that since there are no more humans left, they have to do with something else.
There are still animals, they know… and there are other zombies.
This is where cannibalism comes into play… zombies eating zombies…
It starts with the ones who are already dead, but then escalates to the ones that are simply too decayed to move, and have therefore fallen apart. Then, it escalates even further to the healthy ones – the ones who can fight for themselves… this is where it starts.
The beginning following the end. The aftermath.
This is where the mutations come in… this is when the zombies become something else.
Their goal: To test their abilities and possibly reproduce... if they find out how.
Mutations:
-They can be anything you want (creativity is applauded), but they have to be at least slightly humanoid, because they are derived from the zombie race, which are descended from the human race. However, they cannot be human.
-They can think, or they can be without thought, logic, reason, etc… or even insane. Either works.
-They can eat things aside from other zombies (animals, inanimate objects, etc…), but in that case they will end up different from the cannibals.
Always tell how old your character is as a zombie.
Describe your character as a zombie, and how they look after the initial mutation.
If your characters have abilities, describe those abilities in detail, if possible.
You must tell if they ate fellow zombies or other things, because by that, they will turn out either more or less humanoid.
