Introduction
But, and this goes without saying, humans never do well with massive amounts of power. In history,a series of events now referred to as The Reboot wiped out ancient civilizations in 1050. Considering this wasn't long after the discovery of Godspark, scientists infer that the ancients were tampering with forces they weren't ready for. While this caused worry during the early conversion from Lexicon to Code, the fears were dismissed once leaders in Code development announced that Code is completely stable.
This, of course, is a lie. Nothing like Code is completely stable.
Recently, archaeologists have found a tower, buried under years of dirt and erosion. This tower was originally thought to be a building from the Godspark era...but the researchers have found otherwise.
You are a part of this expedition. Your job may be Analysis, security, medic, or anything really. You could be just a civilian that signed up for the expedition. But it is this group that will put into motion events that could end in the Second Reboot...
-~Code~-
Code is classified into elemental and energy schools or colleges. These schools are as follows:
Igna: Code that creates heat and fire.
Aun: Code specializing in the dealings of water.
Tern:Earth-based Code.
Varn: Code with air properties
Cogna: Code dealing with the energies of the mind. Common in therapy and telekinetics. Has very many uses.
Morta:This form of Code governs body tissue. It is used in hospitals, but it does have offensive uses.
Vitao: Life energy Code. This Code is very rare, only seen in the possession of celebrities and politicians. Can be used to extend life, but not indefinitely. Weaker versions are used in medicine.
Dyn: Code that works with pure energy
Solai:Light Code
Lunai: Dark Code
As you can see, there are many different Code schools, but there are thousands of sub-schools. People create them themselves, and they become their personal style. Code is used through devices called Parsers, which create the glowing Code circles that are referred to as arrays. These Parser can be bracelets, rings, gloves, anything really. Some even have them implanted in their skin. Parsers can store endless amounts of trivial Code, but only 5 Power Commands(Spells) at a time.
