She had done it. She had kissed him, and she wasn't about to regret doing so. It was probably likely that if she hadn't done it, he never would have. Then again he could surprise her, like he had with suddenly coming clean about his past. It was weird, that she really didn't seem to mind. And she didn't feel like she should care. The only thing that bothered her was the other dragon, Cersa or whatever her name was. Her mind couldn't wrap around the fact that anyone would ever willingly leave Ilfir, even she would have to be forced from his side.
It wasn't like she couldn't be mad at Ilfir, if she wanted to be. Though... well, she didn't really want to be. There was no reason to be. If it wasn't his fault, why should she be mad at him? And if killing a dragon, probably mostly by accident because he was so killed by rage, made him a murderer, then they were all murderers. Hell, she was worse than him, she went out at least twice a week and purposefully killed animals. Oh, they're just animals, they don't count, do they? Well then they shouldn't count either, they weren't just human, they were dragons. It made them animals too.
He seemed to hesitate, almost making her regret her decision to 'take charge' and finally do what she'd been wanting him to for who knew how long. That could mean many things though, she told herself. He could just be... shocked. Or maybe he wasn't sure if she wanted him to kiss her again, did that make sense? Of course, she was as shocked as he was. So she began to move away, not planning on going far but just giving him room to breathe.
When their noses touched, she stopped breathing.Completely. It was like she was stuck on pause, not knowing what to do or how to do it. Maybe he wanted to kiss her again, or rip her head off. Stop that, a voice scolded her. So maybe she was a bit more affected by the idea that he murdered someone then she let on, but she wasn't going to let it control her.
His lips touched hers again and she blushed, having been completely lost in her thoughts. His hand on her neck sort of pushed her back into action, he'd probably felt like he'd been kissing a wall the last few moments, and she returned the kiss.
