A tall imposing woman with dark, tightly curled hair falling around her shoulders, Ayasha has angled features, a fair complexion, and emotive, cool green eyes. She stands at just over seven feet tall, with wide shoulders and a lithe, athletic build. Ayasha's hair is a dark sepia brown. She typically dresses business professional, although when the occasion requires it, will alter the nature of her dress. Because of her height, she is often intimidating, and is a commanding presence whenever she enters a room. In contrast, however, her mannerisms suggest a woman beaten down by her work, and her speech a woman in need of a friend.

A beautifully constructed longsword, a pure golden hilt embedded with jewels, alongside a finely crafted blade, glowing dimly blue. This is the Sword of Truth. It will inform its owner of another's intentions. It glows red when a person lies, green when they speak the truth, yellow when they have hostile intent, and blue when they are friendly. - This Artifact is now in the possession of the Langaran Defense Agency.
A wand made of cypress wood, useful for spells requiring more concentration and power than wand-less spells.
A specially modified Glock .22 which in addition to shooting normal bullets, can also shoot enchanted rounds, such as frozen bullets, flaming bullets, smokebomb bullets, and poisoned bullets.
A miniature spellbook, useful for when a witch or wizard just can't recall that one incantation for the life of them.
History
Born in 1964, Ayasha was raised in an average, middle-class Irish American suburban neighborhood in the Northeast region of the United States of America. She was the only child, or so she claims, in a racially untraceable family - both parents claimed a menagerie of nations for their ancestry, including Ireland, Scotland, Poland, Czechoslovakia, the Cheyenne tribe, Norway, and Romania. Up until the time when most Americans enter high school, Ayasha was enrolled in public school, and escaped the adolescent drama of girls and cliques mostly unscathed. She was part of a clique somewhere along the center of the social totem pole, where most of the other girls in her clique were also content with themselves and their social status, and unwilling to either subject themselves to more drama with the more popular cliques, or social ostracization with the less popular cliques.
At the age of thirteen, her magical prowess was discovered by the secret Newton National Academy for the Magically Gifted, and she was enrolled in order to develop her supernatural talents as a young witch. Ayasha was enrolled in an applied enchantment track, where students focused on actual spellcasting, as opposed to potions or theoretical magic. In addition to furthering her education in the magical arts, Newton National also prepared Ayasha for the nonmagical world with the standard courses in English Language Arts, Social Studies, Science, and Mathematics. Her closest friend was Lisa Sheahan, another witch of African-American descent, who hailed from the Midwest breadbasket of America.
Upon graduation, Ayasha insisted on attending a typical university along with non-magically inclined peers, and graduated with a double major in History and Communications from Suffolk University. Ayasha was employed initially by the Department of Magical Affairs as a special investigator, a position that combines the duties of an FBI special agent and a CIA case officer, but in relation to the magical world, before a number of promotions over the years to various other positions within the Department, culminating in her recent appointment as Secretary of Magical Affairs, a Cabinet level position. The only incident on her record was a little-known incident fifteen years ago while she was still a special investigator in the field, resulting in the death of a young girl. She has never married and has no children.
Ayasha is a Patronus - a member of the elusive, highly secretive organization known only as the Guardians, whose mission is to protect twelve artefacts from the evil designs of the Orsa Terminus organization. The Sword of Truth, an artefact entrusted to her protection, was stolen from her during a battle with the rogue android Aiyanna-A. Later, she was taken hostage by Drakus Flavaar, a member of the Orsa of Terminus, and held in a prison in the basement of his sylvan manor. Ayasha was rescued by Whisper (Jacquelyn Rose), and sent for by George of the Aschen LDA to celebrate Aiyanna-A's defeat at the hands of Natalie Schultz, only to find her friend Cameron in the custody of the LDA. Demanding both the Sword and Cameron returned, Ayasha signed an arrest warrant for LDA Agent Marlene Angel for torturing Cameron, and was afterward taken into custody by the Caprica City Police. Deported from Langara, Ayasha returned to Terra.
In the wake of the political changes (OOC - November 2010), the MEA was reorganized into the Magical Eradication Bureau, under the oversight of the Overt Intelligence Agency, and Ayasha was named Director of the new MEB. She has since permanently relocated to Caprica City.

The witch watched the others intently, unsure whether the tension she sensed would boil over into an all out fight, but regardless of what happened, this place was bound to be interesting. She had heard of the bar through her friend, Naazmat Chakladar, and decided to take a look herself. So far, she wasn't disappointed.

Ayasha Ziedins walked into the bar, like most normal people typically do, though her intimidating presence at once commanded attention. Ayasha strode up to the counter, taking a seat, as she glanced around without seeming to look, noting the other patrons of the bar. Many seemed to be magically inclined. Should make for an interesting night.

Ayasha Ziedins took the DVD, slipping it into her bag, without glancing at it. "How do you know that?" Ayasha asked; suddenly her tone was cold, no longer polite and friendly.

"The magical community is quite safe, I assure you," Ayasha said stiffly, straightening in her seat as she did so. "I will deal with Fields myself. Take your concerns to the Secretary of Commerce. I'm sure Anne Kingsley would be more than happy to listen to you."

"With all due respect for the Trantor, Fields is my agent, and I will take care of him. Politics simply aren't my concern, Mr. . . " Ayasha paused, but when no name was forthcoming, she continued. "President Maynard has more to worry about than you or I. Let's not make this stressful, shall we?"

Ayasha Ziedins took the card. "Thank you," she said, watching Agent T leave. After the Trantor agent was gone, she too stood and left.
Ayasha Ziedins strode purposefully into the bar, a soft smile adorning her otherwise plain, unmade face, her curls bouncing slightly with the motion. Ayasha towered over most of the other humans and humanoids in the bar, her figure imposing, though her smile was disarming, detracting from the otherwise intimidating effect. She took a seat at an empty table, watching the others as she did so, wondering who she might wish to speak to today. This place was always full of interesting people. The witch was never alone, but she had forced her bodyguards to remain outside. She didn't want to give the perception that she needed special treatment.
Ayasha Ziedins 's eyes slid up to that of a hooded woman, whose cloak shadowed her face, rendering her unidentifiable. She didn't recognize this woman, though her voice had a distinct cadence about it. Ayasha nodded. "Certainly," she said, smiling congenially. "Please, have a seat." Ayasha motioned to the chair across from her. "What can I do for you?"

Ayasha wasn't as well known as some people, like Khalil Abrar, the Director of Central Intelligence, or Robert Edwards, the Director of the FBI, or Naazmat Chakladar, the Attorney General, or. . . the list could go on. But nevertheless, Ayasha's name crossed the media often enough, so she tried not to let instinct get the better of her and wary suspicion limit what might otherwise be a pleasant conversation.

Ayasha Ziedins let her watchful gaze slide over Sylvire's features, immediately recognizing a member of the elven race. She had a number of elven sorcerers in her employ at the DMA, and they were innovative, tenacious agents. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Sylvire," Ayasha said. "I haven't heard much of Orsa Terminus. . . only fleeting rumors, untrustworthy snippers of conversation."
