Faction Name: OmniCorp
Type: Electronics and Weapons Technology Corporation (primarily - OmniCorp is a globalised Terran business, with arms in all sectors, from housing, to shopping, to dining and more. The clue is in the name 'Omni' referring to doing just about everything)
Net Worth: $68.97 trillion

Operations:

Terra: A largely Terra-based company, OmniCorp spans most of the planet, in almost every sector you can think of. Even the seedier ones, in the countries where they're legal.

Galactic: OmniCorp recently moved into mining, shipping, and had gone back to its roots of weapons technology for its initial steps on the galactic stage. Now well established on many worlds (at the discretion of player owners for established empires), OmniCorp is spreading out its specialisations again - though it is limiting itself to: mining, shipping, weapons, domestic technology, information/electronic security, and private security/mercenaries.

Note: OmniCorp's business empire extends only to NPC organisations - and PC establishments are unaffected unless RP'd out ICly.

Significant Branches of OmniCorp:

OmniCorp: The central organisation, holding OmniCorp's name, is a technological company specialising in equipment (weapons, armour, gadgets, implants), genetic enhancement, mechanical enhancement, computers, security and vehicles. Maintaining a huge skyscraper in Wing City's business district as its headquarters, OmniCorp has thousands of employees just to fill the building, and many more spread across the city, planet, and more recently off-planet.

Significant members of OmniCorp:
  • Kynala Evantus - The CEO of OmniCorp, and overall head of every branch of the company - one of Wing City's most powerful individuals. A typical merchant Ri, incredibly stubborn and almost megalomaniacal in her desire to own whatever she sets her mind to owning - be it a particular business (she currently is near obsessed over her inability to wrest Gambit's Bar from Tech Con, despite owning 30% of it, and despite it being incredibly unprofitable due to constant repairs) or indeed the entire city.
  • Andrew Layton - head of security for OmniCorp's tower and other buildings, a powerful psychic and tech specialist, with extensive combat and security experience.
  • Shiela Castale - Kynala's outwardly-reserved secretary, who is in fact just as strong and independent as the CEO herself. In charge of Kynala's information network, and information broking business.

Golden Legion Mercenaries: A mercenary group, specialising in high-tech weaponry and mechanical soldiers, the Legion are one of the strongest mercenary groups in Wing City. With the financial support of OmniCorp, they are able to purchase the best equipment, and hire the best soldiers. With an extensive roster (6550 'official' mercenaries on the books, with approximately 1250 mechanised soldiers and 500 heavy mechs in addition to this, totalling at near 8500), if the Legion can't get the job done, then you need more than most mercenary groups can offer)

Now that OmniCorp has gone galactic, the Golden Legion has expanded accordingly. Its roster now numbering around 75 million soldiers, with another 20 million mechs and 12 million heavy mechs, and armed with a makeshift fleet of approximately 800 ships, including approximately 400 transport craft, 240 Magnate frigate-level ships, 120 Oracle battlecruisers, 40 Abaddon battleships and 2 Avatar capital ships.

Significant members of the Golden Legion:
  • Commander Leylana Kalus, a tough-as-nails woman with the best psychic implants money can buy, ruthlessly dedicated to her troops.
  • Engineering Chief Catherine Morrison, head of the Legion's technological departments, the deployment of its mechs and the development and purchasing of its weaponry.
  • Saidra Galliere, leader of the 'Golden Palm', the Legion's assassination branch, hailing from Lustre's Golden Dimension.
  • Alyss Shepard, skilled human operative of the Legion and security specialist (played by Arrow).

  • M-15 Vindicator Battle Rifle - a burst-fire battle rifle. 24 round clip.
  • M-5 Phalanx Pistol - a powerful high calibre pistol, capable of tearing a limb off with a good hit. 6 round clip.
  • M-76 Revenant Light Machine Gun - a powerful weapon classified largely as an assault rifle due to its usability. High powered and with a very large clip. Somewhat inaccurate, but increased power and clip size make up for this. 80 round clip.
  • M-12 Locust SMG - A precise, accurate SMG with better long-range capabilities than other weapons in its class.
  • M-97 Viper Sniper Rifle - a rapid-fire, precise sniper rifle designed to tear through armour and riddle a target full of holes before they know what's hit them. 12 round clip.
  • M-100 Grenade Launcher - a rapid fire grenade launcher which fires frag grenades that explode three seconds after launch unless the setting is changed (variance between one and ten seconds programmed). Holds 10 grenades.
  • ML-77 Missile Launcher - a high powered rapid fire missile launcher, firing homing missiles with friend-foe recognition technology linked in with Golden Legion weapons and armour. Holds 15 missiles.
  • M-27 Scimtar Shotgun - A deadly rapid-fire shotgun. Inaccurate at long range. 8 round clip.
  • M-29 Incisor Sniper Rifle - a burst sniper rifle, firing three shots rapidly; so rapidly, in fact, that all three will be in the target before the barrel has moved a millimetre. 15 round (5 shot) clip.
  • M-101 Battle Cannon - an extremely high powered assault cannon, firing high calibre rounds from a rotating set of barrels. Fires heavy rounds effective against armour and capable of tearing limbs off.
  • M-451 Firestorm - a heavy flame-thrower, with a wide cone effect.
  • M-500 Energy Cannon - a high powered energy weapon capable of searing through thick metal. Imbued with anti-shield disruptor energy.
  • M-480 Plasma Cannon - a large plasma cannon that fire superheated plasma in both precise bolts and more massive charges.
  • M-510 Psionic Boom - a newly developed weapon that is designed specifically for usage against psionics. Projects a ray that targets the minds of psionics (and to a lesser extent anyone), inhibiting their powers and causing intense migraines.

Ammunition:
  • Shredder - bullets that are designed to shred on impact, causing severe internal damage to the target but useless against armour and shields.
  • Armour Piercing - bullets designed to tunnel through thick armour plating to inflict precise wounds.
  • Disruptor - bullets enhanced to emit a shield-disrupting energy that allows them to rapidly deplete a shield's power.
  • Inferno - bullets that superheat and ignite in the air, inflicting burns and able to start fires.
  • Inferno Shredder - combines the effects of inferno and shredder ammo.
  • Armour Piercing Disruptor - combines the effects of disruptor and armour piercing ammo.
  • Mana Drain - bullets designed to sap magical energy from a target.

Defences:
  • Psychic Shielding - passive psychic barriers that can stand up to a lot of punishment, visible as an ambient blue glow around the individual. Applies over the top of regular shielding.
  • Heavy Shielding - kinetic barriers that can stand up to a lot of punishment, visible as orange translucent plating around the individual.
  • Battle Armour - incredibly strong armour formed from synthetic plating, allowing for manoeuvrability as well as protection.
  • Light Armour - mid-strength armour formed of synthetic fibres, allowing for much greater manoeuvrability as well as a degree of protection.
  • Heavy Armour Plating - extremely tough exterior armour, resistant against overload effects.

Gadgets:
  • OmniTool - versatile technological gadget, worn on the back of the hand to form a holographic glove. Can serve as a phone, a computer, link into HUVs, and serve as a small scale gravity manipulator to lift objects up to the size of a cabinet or sofa (for example). Other less commonly employed functions are provided.
  • Stealth Field Generator - armour enhancement allowing for visual cloaking, making the user almost entirely invisible.
  • Dispel Projector - a small handheld device that can release pulses of energy that work similarly to a magical dispel.
  • Psychic Wailer - a small handheld device that works similarly to the Psionic Boom, but projects a constant field.
  • Anti-Wailer - an earpiece that allows OmniCorp/Legion psionics to resist the effects of the Boom/Wailer.

Implants:
  • Psychic Implants - producing varying G values of telekinetic force (the average human without ESP powers can take up to 3Gs before their heart fails from shock or similar, it takes 5Gs to shatter concrete and specialised equipment to handle ESPers usually handles up to 30Gs), that can be employed in a wide variety of ways.
  • Tech Implants - allowing the user a degree of technopathy, employable to electronically overload machines, hack AI, infiltrate security systems and disable weaponry and vehicles remotely.
  • Pyrokinesis Implants - not yet fully developed and sold. Enables the user to control and generate flames.
  • Electrokinesis Implants - not yet fully developed and sold. Enables the user to control and generate electricity/lightning.

Note: name/concept of some weapons/equipment credit goes to the Mass Effect series.
