The largest gypsy clan this side of Terra, the Mistwood gypsy camp is a bustling place of activity and cheer. Though beneath the backdrop of color and prosperity lays something far more sinister. The Cursed Wood. Both superstitious and wary of strangers, these gypsy outcasts have long learned to take care of themselves.

However, outsiders often believe that this clan's deviations from their ancestral ways brought about their blight. Dubbed 'Cursed' by their compatriots, few other gypsy clans will mingle with the gypsies of Mistwood.

The Mistwood Gypsy Clan serves as a haven for other individuals of like mind. Outcasts of the gypsy people who have carved out a name for themselves despite their unorthodox ways.

"Um, look, I'm going to be brief with you," Gabriella said, a voice that sounded worn from a life of too much smoking, though the distinct smell of smoke that usually accompanied such people was just not present. "There's been talk of a werewolf around here that's been causing trouble for the local people-" and some vampires, not that she cared about them, "-And I'm looking to bag it. Could you point me in the right direction?"

The stares of the gypsies did not abate at Ciara's approach of Gabriella, and this fact did not go unnoticed by her.

“Forgive my kinsmen, they are understandably wary of strangers. The creature you speak of has taken two of our men in the past week alone, and there is far worse that prowls these woods,” she said.

“Walk with me?” she asked with a wave away from the camp, along the border of the woods. A pleasantly scenic view, if not for the darkness that lay just beyond. “Such talk is not for the children,” she explained.

Gabriella offered only a shrug as she stepped in line with Ciara, content with walking next to her. "I don't blame you to be wary when you're getting attacked by wolves all the time. Lemme guess, the cops don't help you?"

Gabriella snorted. "Sounds like no one gives a damn about you." She was a big advocate of 'society blows'. "Don't worry, I'll take care of your problem. You'll be able to sleep easy when I'm done." Her eyes dropped to the tracks, a frown on her face. "So close to the camp?"

“Ciara Corrigan,” she replied. “Oh, and one more thing. The men from the camp say the wolf bears a collar. Whatever that might mean,” Ciara offered before she turned to depart for the camp.

She didn't offer the woman luck, but truth be told, she didn't really expect to see the woman again either way.

Not far from the gypsy camp stood a young woman, staring into the wooded area beyond. At a distance, one could almost have mistaken her for an ethereal wraith, given her pale skin, white hair, and loosely fitted white dress. However, upon closer inspection it would be apparent that it was simply a woman, albeit a frail and lightly built one. Standing at only five foot, she was far from an imposing individual.

Buoyant notes carried through the air, inky as the shadow which spilled before the man. Connected at the bare and dirty toe, the stain stretched across the earth like preview to his passing. The man kicked along his shadow to the plucks of a mandolin, eyes cast to the ground in front of him. Such textures he loved to experience, the soft tickle of the grass, or the cold grains of dirt. The earth itself inspired the music of the mandolin. Shoes dangled by the laces around his neck, for although he rarely wanted shoes, they did come in handy.

He had barely taken notice to the camp as he shuffled around the perimeter. An absentminded frown contorted his lips, curls astray. Absorbed in his music, he walked towards the woods, plucking away with a strum here or there. Up ahead stood a woman, who he wouldn't of noticed had she not been so... So white. His fingers danced up the neck of the mandolin, and he anchored himself with a rock backwards on his heels. Where exactly was he?

The woman stood motionless, her eyes locked on the forest ahead. It was hard to say if she was aware of another approaching, so lost was she in her introspect. She looked lost almost, lost and confused, and yet intrigued at the same time.

What was it about this place that was so familiar to her? What lay beyond this border that filled her with such feelings of déjà vu.

It wasn't the man, but rather, the instrument that finally broke Whisper's focus. She so very much missed music. Born a dancer, music was in her heart and soul, and nothing could change that.

“I'm sorry, if I'm intruding... but this place, what is it?” she asked finally. Her voice was low, introverted and hesitant.

Parrying between two notes, he contemplated her words. This place? He knew not. Slipping again into a strum, he held it off on another pluck, flicking his eyes towards her shoulder. A peculiar expression came to rise on his face as a faint melody came to rise, falling into tempo with his feet as he took a couple more steps towards her. He wobbled a bit, stepping farther left than right, but did not cease to play when he stopped walking again.

"Intrude you don't," a smile and a strum, "Camp, surely?" he continued to pluck the song.

Whisper blinked at the man. Was he drunk? His wobbling steps and disjointed speech left her wondering. She was here looking for answers, and she cast the wood a second glance, but the matter of the individual in front of her was a more immediate concern.

“Is everything ok?” she inquired carefully. She didn't want to insult the man, but he most certainly seemed a bit off. And coming from her, that was saying something.

His strumming ceased, and he spoke in barely a whisper, "Is?"
Her words left him strangely grounded, standing in the silence. Blinking a couple of times, he glanced around him, clutching at the mandolin. Was there reason for everything to be anything but okay? He peered towards his toes, then back up at the woman.

"Yes?" Brows furrowed, he leaned to take a quick peer around her. He had come full circle on his walk, landing himself right back where he started, and hadn't even noticed until now. A soft hum resonated in his throat for but a moment, before his hands gently began to make music again.

"Is everything ok?" He mimicked her tone, smiling innocently and plucking a song he had learned upon his travels, called...was it furalees?

The music was rapidly becoming a point of irritation for the woman. Was this some distraction sent to lure her away from her answers? Like a satyr in the dead of night? How easy it would be to lose herself in music and song and forget what she came here for.

She began gently massaging the bridge of her brow as if she had a headache, and it was rapidly becoming apparent that she seemed mildly distressed.

“I'm fine, I just... I think I'm looking for someone...” she explained. “Perhaps I should go.”

"Hapse I be of asstance?" He strummed softly, bringing his thumb to rest on the thickest string. She seemed stressed, possibly confused, maybe irritated. What exactly she was he knew not, but he wished to help in any way that he could.

A twinkle popped into his eye, and the hum returned. Thup, thup, his foot tapped on the grass to the beat of the tune he hummed. He quite liked the sound of that, picking up the tune with his mandolin and ceasing to hum.
"Help find?"

Whisper simply nodded briefly at his words. Acceptance of his offer to assist her perhaps? Though she offered little to aid him in this endeavor, and instead she simply moved to hug her arms around herself as if cold. However, the afternoon breeze held little chill to it, and it would seem that whatever ailed the frail woman was not of the body.

“Have you ever felt like you lost something, or are forgetting something, but you cannot remember what?” she asked after a moments pause.

“It is as you said, we have not touched it,” an elderly gypsy woman explained, as she offered a staff across to Whisper. The item had been carefully bound and tied securely in cloth.

Whisper took the item carefully, offering only a slight nod of her head and a soft, “Thank you.”

The cloth was slid away as her finger tips danced across the cool surface of the object. It gave her a sense of déjà vu but little more.

“Do you require anything else?” the elder woman asked.

Whisper gave a gentle shake of her head and the gypsy woman rested a comforting hand upon her shoulder momentarily before heading out of the back room of the small caravan.

For a time Whisper just sat there in silence, taking in her surroundings and listening to the hushed voices carrying to her from the other room. The carvan was far too enclosed for her to not overhear them. Though, perhaps they too realized that, for though she could hear them, they spoke in their native tongue, of which Whisper knew only a few words. However, of those few words, curse was one she was familiar with, and it was uttered frequently.

As the time droned on, the conversation died out and the participants disbanded until Whisper was left to her solitude and the silence that blanketed the caravan. And still she sat.

The room grew darker as the moonlight outside was blotted out, and the whispers that danced across her mind caused Whisper to withdraw her hand as if burned. The abrupt start and stiffening of her body caused the staff to clatter to the floor at her feet.

It was a strange feeling that settled over her, a feeling of unease without a source. The whispered voices were so familiar... shadows, shadows that danced at the corners of your vision, whispering softly. Always there, always watching, but gone again when you turn to find them.

Bringing her hands up she rubbed at her temple lightly, trying to make sense of her disjointed thoughts. They didn't make any sense to her.

It was several long moments before Whisper gathered her nerve to face her anxiety. Whatever the staff was, it was a link to her past. To find herself she needed to start at the beginning. At least that was what she had been told. Something about to know herself, she first needed to understand the paths she had traveled...

Reaching a hand down, she closed it around the staff firmly this time.

Light shone down, the clouds parting as an off-yellow filtered through the air to where Whisper sat. It would be easy to mistake it for the moon once more, but it was not so. To say she was being watched was an understatement. The clouds would, however, close once more, yellow light vanishing. The whispering immediately took up once more, subtle and all around. "-the subject is fear. That's how-" the voices barely raised for a moment before dying down once again. There was the sound of dirt kicking up, someone skidding to a halt on the other side of the caravan, followed by rapid, fearful breathing.

Aside from the subtle shift in the murkiness of the room, the light went largely unnoticed by Whisper. Such changes were easily accounted for by shifts in the clouds and the moonlight outdoors. Instead she closed her eyes and let her fingers play across the staff once more.

However, her concentration was disrupted by a spike of fear and anxiety that filled her thoughts. It wasn't her own though, no this came from another. Perhaps she should have been cautious, but the gypsies had met her with only kindness. Leaning the staff against the wall she rose to her feet and gently parted the curtain that separated the back area of the caravan from the rest.

The caravan had been abandoned, save for her. Forsaking caution further she carefully opened the front door of it and stepped outside. The fear was there in the back of her throat, but beneath it, her own emotions were calm, confused perhaps, but calm.

Closing the door quietly behind her, she hugged her arms around herself against the chill of the night air, her eyes casting about for the source of the her confusion. The gypsies had retired for the night though, and she found only silence, and darkness.

Out in the open the fear would likely magnify, then at once dull, as if whoever it had been had just stepped inside the very caravan Whisper had just left. "-its a power that could give you exactly what-" the voice fluttered again from the staff. The sense of fear would magnify as rather literally just beyond the curtain a man was currently perched very much like a gargoyle, head leant forward to stare right at the back of Whisper's head.

They wore a mask, a mask of eyes, three of them staring forward.

Whisper rubbed her arms lightly to ward against the chill. The steady presence of fear that fluttered at her mind didn't seem to be abating, or changing. Her empathy was largely proximity based and so the change in location was lost on her. She lacked the focus necessary to pinpoint its source.

Feeling mildly foolish for standing out in the cold, she opted to return inside. Perhaps the staff was the source, as it had been with the whispers, and there was no one out here at all. Opening the door, she found herself face to face with a mask.

Her heart all but leaped into her throat as she took a startled step back, a hand coming to her chest. “Good heavens, you frightened me,” she managed to utter as she tried to regain her composure. Though, it took only a moment more for the realization to dawn on her, that there was only one entrance into the caravan.

The figure immediately jerked backwards, falling from the chair to the floor. They scrambled backwards until they met a wall, back pressed to it. Their nervous voice forced out a stutter of, "S-sorry." Their legs continued to kick as if desperate to get away from Whisper, sheer abject terror rippling through the heart of the man. He began to rise from his frantic leg-flailing.

A hand was offered out, though his entire body trembled, revealing more eyes across his knuckles and arms. In the peace between words his lips could be seen moving, mouthing out two words. Whispering. Watching.

Abandoned Multiverse Characters Restored

Hey guys,

Just letting everyone know that I've gone through and found as many abandoned characters as I could and placed them back into their original creator's list of characters. There were several thousand characters who I could not determine the owner for, and as such I've placed those in the orphanage.

You're free to abandon them again if you wish!

Sincerely,
Your Friendly Multiversal GM

Re: The Multiverse: The Official OOC (uber)Thread

Hello folks!

There's been a lot of talk lately (mostly unpleasant and misunderstanding) about the invasion and occupation of Terra plot that Barney and I have been working on for over a month and which was recently unveiled publicly (apparently?) in the Multiverse. The idea behind most roleplay usually termed "nation roleplay" or "NRP" is not to overtake or dominate a large-scale roleplay, but to enrich and provide sociological, economic, and political background to such a setting. "Nation roleplay," or roleplaying that involves nation states, de facto state entities, or state-like factions, is intended to be a breeding ground for character development, provide a backdrop for character interactions, and create multiple avenues for diverse and engaging plotlines to develop at both micro and macro levels.

In my own writing, I focus predominantly on the development of individual characters and the dynamics of interactions among those characters. I find overarching, meta-plotlines like this invasion plotline to be an excellent impetus for engendering and fostering more vibrant and compelling character interactions and new plot ideas by creating multiple sources of tension. Characters need not have any high rank or formal affiliation with a faction in order to be impacted by larger events (think of what happens to average citizens when any country goes to war), nor will they necessarily be directly affected in any significant way (think about the everyday lives of most Americans during the Iraq war.) But you, the writers and roleplayers, will have a myriad of opportunities to create, develop, and form deeper and more interesting plots to feature your character(s), given a new set of macro-circumstances.

Both Barney and I welcome and encourage anyone who is interested in active involvement in the invasion plot at any level (very active to vaguely active) in any way whatsoever to talk to either or both of us about your ideas, character(s), and plans. A large number of people have already done so, including the following people:

- krumbla -- I can't remember his idea (I'm sorry, krumbla; talk to me when I'm not sick as a dog?)
- Mr. Crow -- News media company to be formed before the invasion and to provide support to the resistance or rebels following the occupation
- curtsive -- Vigilante anti-terrorist organization to conduct terrorist operations against the occupation
- Alasund De'astio -- plays the Democratic Coalition, allies of the current (canonical to Ylanne) Terran government
- Nemo -- typically handles the military side of the Terran government, as well as Randin Kaye from the Wing City Police Department
- DemiKara -- whose character Aerilyn recently joined the Terran Intelligence Bureau
- Konstantein -- plays a daywalking vampire who will act against the occupation
- AzricanRepublic -- plays the UCON, which has a military presence near Terra and supports the TNG
- Marcus -- plays the Council, which has a vested interest in defending Terran sovereignty
- Tearen Wover -- plays VARIAtech corporation, which is offering military assets to the Terrans

And I'm certain I've forgotten someone (in which case, if that's you, I do sincerely apologize. It's one a.m. and I'm still sick.)

Barney and I have sketched out an overview of how we expect the plot to run from beginning to middle to end; however, despite the fact that both of us obviously plan on the plot following that sequence, it can change its course at any point depending on the ideas and in-character actions of any other folks who decide to get involved.

Some of the plots to occur during the invasion and occupation, both planned and still in discussion, already discussed include the following:

- Arianne Drulovic subjected to an order of indefinite detention
- Democratic Coalition rescuing Drulovic from Aschen custody
- Terran resistance kidnapping self-proclaimed God-Emperor Raphael McGregor
- Drulovic psychologically "breaking" McGregor with his estranged wife Cally
- Hataf attack against Aschen Empire holdings
- Guerrilla warfare between Democratic Coalition, UCON, and Terran forces against Aschen forces
- Taiyou attack on Aschen-controlled Terra
- Terran Independent underground dissident publication
- Jelisaveta Drulovic and family taking Natalija Drulovic's children off-world
- Rubano Malijin assuming power as regional Governor of Terra
- Public executions of political dissidents
- Internal rebellion against Aschen government by dissident Aschen leaders

I strongly encourage anyone and everyone to seek me out to talk plot, character, and ideas. Both existing and newly created characters can be involved with any plot, either existing or newly proposed by you. If you feel that this planned plotline (invasion and occupation) will unnecessarily or unfairly interrupt or alter your own plans for character or plot development, and you passionately want to retain your own plans as much as possible, please talk to me. I am very obsessive and have high levels of anxiety about maintaining the integrity and substance of my plans, so I know how you feel, and am more than happy to collaborate with you to work out something that satisfies you and makes logical sense.

If I'm not in the chat at any given time, I can be reached via private message, or by email at trealistorm (at) yahoo.com. Messages to that email address are delivered directly to my smartphone, which I check obsessively all day long, and will be read and replied to as soon as possible. (Usually within twelve hours, and sometimes within as little as ten minutes.) I want to hear your ideas and opinions (but please be polite to me; I do have feelings and am a real person over here), and I want to make sure that you don't feel like I am trampling over you or your character(s) or your plot(s).

[OOC] Taylor's Bar (Multiverse Location)

This is the official OOC thread for Taylor's Bar. I'll post staff, recent events, and other information about Taylor's here.

Taylor's Bar is a location owned by my character, Gabriel Taylor. The Bar/Hotel/Casino is extremely fortified and secured. Each entrance has a metal detector and the place is usually fully staffed with employes. Taylor handles all of his business in house and law enforcement is nearly never called. Various precautions have been set around the bar to account for the magical inhabitants of Terra and keep it's inhabitants safe.

News Announcements

Taylor’s Casino and Hotel Grand Opening!

Gabriel Taylor, multimillionaire and owner of Taylor’s Bar, a successful nightclub and hang out for the rich and wealthy, has moved onto his next venture; A casino and hotel. Patrons of Taylor’s bar may have noticed construction going on around back as well as various signs and posters apologizing for the inconvenience; The large tower coming up behind the bar would be rather noticeable to say the least. Last month we got a word with Gabriel Taylor’s manager and he’s said that he has big plans for this place.

“Terra’s never had a place quite like this; Gabriel’s casino will be the first. The casino is the largest in the world and it’s also the most secure. Not only won’t we be hit, but we can’t be hit. We’ve brought in security experts from around the world to devise the most advanced security system Terra has seen. We invite anyone who believes they have what it takes to try and rob us, but I won’t be responsible for your injuries or the blow to your self-esteem. Try to teleport through our walls? Have fun getting stuck inside of them. We’ve worked with various experts in the field of magic and technology to create a sort of ‘teleportation displacer’ as well as armed our guards with anti-magic grenades. Although obviously not 100 percent effective, it gets the job done.

The hotel is large and extravagant. It has everything you’d ever need, ranging from a five star restaurant to indoor pools, and a top of the line spa. Our 2nd floor hosts a large assortment of stores holding anything you can think of including the finest clothing and the newest technology. “

The casino and hotel’s grand opening is April 9th at 7 pm. The party at Taylor’s bar goes from 7 pm to 2 am, but good luck getting in. The guest list is packed and with the security at Taylor’s it’s going to be difficult sneaking in.

We have a an Official Group now. Whoohoo. I will edit some more details later on in the day due to my exhaustion.

[OOC] The Gaia Stones [IC Fantasy Event]

Image

The Gaia Stones is a plot that I am currently GMing within The Multiverse on a planet deep within the Milky Way system where technology is not allowed and will not be able to function. The world is ruled completely by magic and magic law. The story consists of people being summoned to the planet Gaia (if they did not spawn on the planet themselves) and were brought to The Ruby Flask. They were given a task to follow a powerful mage named Ry'nn Traeger to collect stones which would unseal powerful weapons that had once been used to forge the kingdom. The purpose behind the quest beyond that remains to yet be seen.

THE WEAPONS

Skuldgrim the Slayer of Undead
Skuld was the first sword forged on the world of Gaia in the Xanaldra Forge. It is a legendary blade that has not been seen for a hundred generations. It once served Gaia when the undead were a threat to all living beings on the Mother’s soil and vanquished The Risen Horde during the age of Those Who No Longer Roam sent by Eras.

The blade of the sword is long and elegant with a pointed edge that is perfect for piercing into armor. Down its length is the engraving of Sagittae—a beautiful woman—in finely etched lines on one side and the other is the engraved representation of Atargatis—a strong and lithe man. The edges are blunt and glow with a strange red flame from enchantment. The blade and hilt are made from a very light weight and mysterious metal.

The pommel of the sword is marked with an engraving which represents the goddess Sagittae; one of the stars of Gaia and the Mother’s protector from the evil god Eras. The sheath is blood red. It is unbreakable and will never shatter.

It is a sword meant to battle the undead which roam mindlessly on Gaia; skeletons, reanimated corpses, and shades. But with all swords of power, there is a weakness. It cannot kill any living soul and may only be used on the undead.

Artrea the Healing Gauntlets
Artrea were gauntlets worn by a legendary man named Lysander Enlight. The gauntlets were hidden beneath the soil of The Exalted Mountains and were used to light the world when Eras had almost consumed his siblings. For seven turnings of Gaia had Artrea served to the be sole beacon on hope for all living things on the world.

The gauntlets are made from a mysterious metal which is completely white in color, almost as if they were made of our pearl. But they are as harder than any metal known to the current world as the knowledge died with Those Who No Longer Roam. They will light the path when light is needed most.

Glittering feathers protrude backwards and out from the wrist. The fingers are sharpened like ten deadly claws that can grip any surface short of diamonds. It is easy to scale a wall with the gauntlets. But that is not what make the weapons deadly. So sharp in fact are they, that they can pierce through most armor and can slice through human flesh like a razor through parchment. But their greatest power is the ability to touch others and heal their mortal wounds through the use of Will.

There is always a weakness that comes with weapons of great power. Those who adorn the gauntlets and use its abilities will soon find their eyesight failing on them over a long period of time. All those that have ever used them—even once—have gone blind with age. And when they are used to heal, the adorner will find themselves very drained as if their own life-force had been passed into the other in order to save their life.

Re: The Multiverse: The Official OOC (uber)Thread

Actually if you want it as a news report, at least offically so, there is a News Thread for the Multiverse as a whole

Re: The Multiverse: The Official OOC (uber)Thread

Sangrei's only statement was this. "Hey, I was hungover, and I got an iced tea with honey. How was I supposed to know that the bear thing was gonna come over and wreck the bar looking for goddamn honey?"

Re: The Multiverse: The Official OOC (uber)Thread

Gambit's Bar was drained of all its honey by a mysterious yellow bear!

Unfortunately, Wing City police did not know this and were left in confusion to find only a yellow teddy bear with a red shirt at the scene of the crime.

The only customer under record who had ordered a glass of honey that day was a Sangrei Friedn. Responsibility for the bill and possibly the stolen stock of honey have yet to be decided. Police still find Friedn a suspect.

HAHAHAHAHA. The conclusion isn't coming til closer to the summer. Frequency of activity and times when the folks who are involved currently has dropped quite a bit for a variety of reasons, and I don't anticipate the conclusion to Family Pictures for a bit. That said, for those who pay attention to the faction-side of things, the announcement that elections have taken place for the Terran National Government will be posted soonish (i.e. within the next two weeks insh'Allah.)

Those who might be expecting me for roleplay, I will have no internet access this Thursday through Sunday this week except from my phone or if I can access someone else's computer with internet access. You will only be able to reliably reach me via email, which goes to my phone. If you don't have mine, any staff member does, as would anyone who regularly roleplays with me. Thanks!

Re: The Multiverse: The Official OOC (uber)Thread

There's no real procedure to get "started" in the Multiverse. The hub of activity is generally Gambit's Bar, but you can grab a roleplay partner and head anywhere. The sky's the limit!

Re: The Multiverse: The Official OOC (uber)Thread

I'm new here, and I just made my first character. How do I get started in the multiverse? I'd like to stick mostly to Terra to keep as close to my character's home as possible, but if I have to move, I will.

If you want to check out my character, go to roleplay/the-multiverse/characters/lorenzo-caracciolo
By the way, that is not near my real name, so don't worry.

[OOC] yea retarded moment

You can create and play anything that you like in the Multiverse. There is no acceptance or review of characters, just create the character and start RPing!

Hello folks! I'm currently maybe two-thirds of the way through the planned Family Pictures sequence, which can be read here, and am posting one last announcement looking for folks who might still want to become part of that. Re: The Multiverse: Where Do We Go?

Um. Okay. Bear with me. I read through what posts I saw, and took note on things that were said to the best of my ability. Here's where I stand on the Multiverse, where the Multiverse is to me, and yeah. I guess.

I agree that there needs to be a set baseline. For instance, the name of the bar. The name of the world that the bar is on. The name of cities, nearby things like that. There can be a set system of government, the Wing City Police Department, but their "jurisdiction" only stretches so far. Some of the most interesting roleplay I've seen/participated in has involved characters coming from other worlds and having to either deal with, work around, or confront the system of government set in the Multiverse.

Alternately, some of the worst and most frustrating MV roleplaying I've seen has been .. involving characters coming from other worlds and having to deal with, work around, or confront the system of government set in the Multiverse.

I've always seen the MV as a hallways connecting various rooms. The rooms are your own story, your own ideas, your own canon, your own characters; it's where your friends gather and you control things. When you're out in that hall, however, all bets are off. That isn't to say you can pull things out of your ass, but you accept and understand a certain amount of handicap.

For instance, my character Liesha Kennicot is a Special Agent in the United States government, from her Earth. She's aware that there are other Earths, and that she doesn't had any control when in the MV. That's fine. However, when someone else walks up to her and starts trying to give her orders claiming that their faction has taken over mine without a single bit of IC content, that's when things start to go awry.

Reading back over the original post, it seems that the Multiverse has as much substance as you give it. It's a sandbox location where you can freely interact with new characters that you might not get a chance to. For a while, I used the MV as a way to try and test out ideas with people before making a roleplay out of it. You get your circles of friends (as Patch mentioned, his crew of eight) and you go at it. Sometimes you meet in the middle, and sometimes you don't.

And at the risk of ranting, that is all I have to say about that.
