Hello all. You have been chosen as the best of your race. Congratulations! You are now permitted to live in The Observatory! There are rules of course, which you will find at the bottom of this letter, but I am sure that none of you will be any problem. You may notice that there are collars around your neck, these are for your and the other specimen's protection. If you wish to survive I suggest you leave them on. These collars shall be removed from the last remaining specimen, who will then be set free back into the wild. This may be quite a shock, however we have made the Observatory perfectly as you may need. Food, water, comforts, and the best of your culture's favorite activities. Given an incredibly in depth look at your culture we realize that these activities are life or death situations with creatures far above your level of intelligence and/or strength. We again congratulate you on your being picked and remind you of one thing, we are watching.

• You may not have contact with your planet until one of you is released, ever.

Back Story

So you wake up with that attached to your shirt. A shirt that you were not wearing when you went to sleep I might add. In fact all of the clothes you're wearing are odd. A white shirt and shorts with toe shoes. But none of them feel like normal fabric, almost like a liquid but it won't quite break up between your fingers. Even your undergarments are odd, considering they aren't there any more. However when you get up and read the note and fail to get the collar off you immediately forget about the odd clothes. You look around the room and..... everything seems normal. Your room is just as it was, all of your clothes are still in your closet, and the lights still work. You immediately put on some boxers, or panties and a bra for you ladies, and head down stairs to talk with your dad about his "practical jokes" (or something else depending on your character). You find your parents right where they always are in the morning. You say "Good morning!" but they don't reply. In fact they don't move at all, almost as if time had been stopped. You walk up to your dad and give him a good push, thinking he'll right himself, however his body moves around your hands. Now his midsection juts out at an odd angle, and then stays there once you stop applying pressure. You raise his hand and it stays there. Take his coffee and, at this point thoroughly freaked out, splash it in your mothers face. She does nothing. Finally at this point you scream and run outside. Once there you are struck dumb. Outside you do a full three sixty turn. Your house/apartment/condo was still the same but none of the ones surrounding it were. There were now five odd houses/apartments/condos in a circle around a cul-de-sac. At the foot of each house appears to be a duffel bag. You run up to the one in front of yours and in it you find a LOT of stuff. Guns, ammunition, food stuffs, and even a small fold up bicycle, the likes of which you have never seen before. It is at this point you notice a kid coming toward you. Here begins our journey....... After you make your OWN back story of course!




So obviously I'm leaving this section pretty loose. However the general plot is that six teens were kidnapped by someone who is now watching them. The teens must decide what they're going to do now! Try to escape? Play along and play house? Travel this fake world that was made for them? It's up to YOU! However I would like to there to be discernible end to the RP (so that maybe we can make a sequel!! O.O). So whatever we decide it's going to have to come to an end eventually (whether it be death, being hired by our kidnappers, or escaping The Observatory).

The kid's undergarments disappear every night, they don't know why. They just do! Even when one or two of them stay up the entire night the rest of them wake up undergarment less! It's almost like they are disintegrating into thin air!
The Observatory is full of monsters, from every edge of the known universe. Bad guys, Good guys (turned bad of course), Mythical creatures, zombies, werewolves, vampires, and anything else you want! I'm going to make a Thread devoted to monsters you guys want in this RP! Please check it out! :D
Whenever the Observers want to tell the specimens something they say it through a form of telekinesis. It booms through all the specimens head at exactly the same voice and decibel (I'll be playing the Observer Voice).

Unneeded Characters:
These characters are the creatures that work for the Observers. If they are a monster they are just hell bent on destruction (you my control as many monsters as you want). If they are a human (a legendary human for instance Achilles) they are an assassin sent for the Specimen. They may have free will but they REALLY want to kill the Specimen (so if something turns them it's going to have to be a REALLY big thing). See the Creatures/People/Monsters thread for more info!
