Alias Martin Fenix, 19 years old, Covert Hacker. Hasn't had a family in years, since the government took them away when they protested. Alex is loosely connected to the network of hackers against the government, but is working to get in with them.
Alex Ordainn is a large supporter for democracy, but that ship had sailed years ago. Now, "democracy" means nothing. So, instead of openly protesting against the over-bearing federal goverment like his parents did, Alex decided it would be in his best interest to attack in a way he was quite familiar with: electronic manipulation. This kind of describes his personality and ideals; he fights against that which he doesn't believe in, yet with something he trusts. Alex Ordainn thinks everything through. He's somewhat of a perfectionist, and that has made him an expert in hacking secure files and sites, though it does take him a while to do so. Then again, that's how he prefers it to be. Alex can be short-tempered at times, but tries to be laid-back and out-of-the-way. He can also be solitary some of the time and has a few close friends but doesn't go out often. On the other hand, he is a fugitive, so his lack of social outgoing kind of plays into his favor.
He always keeps a firearm on him. The government couldn't take that away from the people due to the Bill of Rights, but they do keep those who are registered to own one in their files. Normally, this would be a problem for a fugitive, but since very many citizens these days own a weapon, he can still blend in. Alex normally carries a single-strap backpack with him, carrying anything he would need for a long-time out. Also in there is an impressive amount of cash money. The lack of using a credit or debit card makes him untraceable, and being a hacker himself, Alex knows the dangers of handling money digitally.
Alex Ordainn was an only child, born in the same city he lives in now. When he was eight years old he and his family moved to the central United States, where it was less populated and they couldn't easily be found. His parents were being hunted. They had proclaimed the injustices the federal government was crushing the public with, and how they were hiding it behind the mask of technology and ease of life. Needless to say, the government found the blogs and sites his parents set these on and tracked them down. They couldn't hide forever, though. When Alex Ordainn was ten years old, his mother and father were taken from him. The state put Alex into a boarding school. He had already learned the things the government did to the public from his parents, and noticed how the school system worked to conform everybody into supporters of the country. He kept his ideals for the eight years ahead of him of the middle and high school at this place. When he was fifteen, his affinity for computers introduced him to hacking sites. He devoted a wealth of his free time to hacking, and advanced in skill rapidly in the coming years. He graduated three years later; he was valedictorian. Alex, wanting to attend college but knowing that it would just be a place to further brainwash him into giving government support, instead moved to his hometown and has been working against the government minorly for the past year. His attempts, though successful, have meant little; he is, after all, only one person. Ever since he learned about the organization of hackers working to bring the system down when he was seventeen, he has been trying to get in with them. He's almost there, and he feels there's something they will tell him when he joins. Something big, something more than he can comprehend. They have already told him there's worse things the government is doing than quashing the rights of the citizens. But what? Alex doesn't know yet, but he's desperate to find out.
