This is how she appears whenever she takes on a field mission.

Personality

Personality:
A control freak in every sense, Matrix likes to know everything and have everything go according to plan. That is what owning a number of virtual realities altered at will does to someone, it would appear. Matrix can assume two personalities. Within any virtual reality she adopts a goddess complex, able to alter her surroundings at she sees fit, capable of wiping programs and creating others without bothering with the boring details such a coding and firewalls. The imagination is her limit.

Unfortunately, imagination isn't one of Matrix' defining traits. She is systematic, almost machine-like in her actions and decisions, precisely because paying attention to logic and not emotions usually leads to better results. This manner of being would normally cause one to believe that Matrix is a woman who justifies the means with the end, but this is not the case. Matrix has a very active conscience that keeps her in check, forbidding acts of violence that aren't made in self-defense. Killing is out of the question in almost any situation. Almost means that if absolutely necessary, Matrix will take a life, but seeing as she has never been forced into such a situation, she isn't sure how she would react afterwards.

These characteristics disappear completely within virtual realities however. People do not die within them, their coding only fails, and this means that they can be recreated or redesigned easily. These alterations still exist once the person in question is released from the mind prison, which means that Matrix is capable of submitting people to her own, limited version of The Program... for the greater good.

In the outside world, this changes. Although capable of locking mind's within her own with just a thought, she is fully aware that in the real world she is not a goddess, and must act as so. Whenever not behind the well defended walls of her workplace she is extremely cautious, always protected by self-designed androids, equipped with the most advanced technology available. Because of her moral lines she uses violence as a last resort, and prefers diplomacy, but is quite aware that violence can be common among others. This is made evident by her security androids, neurologically connected to her own mind. Puppets so to speak that are her eyes, ears and weapons.

Equipment

Clothes/Armor:
Whilst operating in contact with the rest of humanity, Matrix wears the clothing/armour featured in the picture offered. When not she wears a grey outfit typical of an office secretary. A grey jacket that covers a buttoned white shirt, accompanied by grey trousers and black, formal shoes. All very formal, and very boring, but practical.

Equipment:
Matrix is constantly equipped with the most advanced technology available to her, some of which she creates or modifies herself.

-Her entire outside clothing is a flexible cooler suit, reinforced within to provide decent protection against regular bullets also.

-The goggles are highly sophisticated pieces of equipment that analyze everything in her view constantly, showing her all technology, hidden or not, the functions that technology may have and it's current activity. They provide a constant feed of whatever information the government may have regarding any person Matrix sees. Upon mental command the goggles can also provide x-ray vision, allowing her to scan the possessions of others and check her current surroundings. These being some of the most important pieces of equipment Matrix carries, she also has a spare pair.

-With her, Matrix is always accompanied by at least two androids, created in such a way that makes them so very different to regular androids it makes them impossible to hack or control. These androids are excellent with their weapons, deadly marksmen, competent with any piece of technology, including weapons, they lay their hands on. Their speed and strength is enhanced with pretty much every robotic enhancement that can be found legally or illegally, and their armour is a fusion between thick layers of kevlar and MicroPLaD technology. Accompanied by their instant decision making capability and accurate possibility analysis, they are feared, though through being linked to Matrix, they must follow her line of thought. At their core is an anti-gravitational system, similar to the that found in most vehicles, meaning that for short periods of time, these androids can hover, or as the name of the technology implies, defy gravity. The androids are made to look just like any human would, and their number grows constantly. Matrix never grows tired of making more and upgrading them, and she is planning on giving them sufficient A.I to produce 'brothers and sisters'.

-Matrix' suit is also equipped with an anti-gravitational piece of technology that allows her to act against gravity even more so than her androids, mainly because she doesn't weigh as much. Because of this Matrix may transport herself as if she were using a hoverboard, in short, using flight.

-The suit allows Matrix to administer potent electrical shocks through touch and over short distances. Approximately ten feet. At ten feet however, the discharge is at its weakest, but could still leave a weaker person unconscious.

-The clothing connects directly with Matrix' muscles, enhancing her strength and even granting her advanced flexibility. It is also capable of partly nullifying pain of the need arises, and over time healing at an accelerated pace. It keeps Matrix' blood at the same temperature as programmed, effectively protecting her against extreme conditions.

-Artificial Brain: Aside from the brain stem and cerebellum, Matrix' brain is entirely artificial, robotic, built by her father so that she wouldn't grow up as a mindless animal. This potent computer is one of the most advanced around, and not even Matrix is aware of it's presence. It was preloaded with enormous quantities of data and information, and was made to remember and comprehend everything. This means that as soon as it was implanted Matrix possessed the same knowledge as her genius father, and adds to this knowledge constantly through almost instantly learning. It is built to disguise itself from all technology scanners, makes probability decisions, but also functions as a human brain would, instead of working as a fully programmed machine. This means that Matrix acquires her own personality traits freely and thinks with liberty. It's a regular brain, just better.

Weapons:
Apart from Matrix' suit turning her into an effective weapon, she carries, along with her combat androids, two automatic laser guns, enhanced to fire a more concentrated beams at a higher rate.

History

Skills:
Matrix' artificial mind has gifted her with heightened intuitive capabilities, an already large knowledge base including:
-Information regarding many sciences such as robotics, biotechnology, chemistry, biochemistry, advanced physics, geology and a number of others.
-Combat prowess. Many fighting styles and knowledge of the steps to follow to being an efficient marksmen. These were originally supposed to help her defend herself from the government, but they weren't enough.

Abilities:
-The ability to make instant decisions based on probability.
-The innate capability to mental connect with technology and manipulate it. This ability is envied by many hackers who know of it. Not even Matrix is certain how, but as if she were a machine herself, she is able to, simply by detecting technology, control it without any difficulty. This can range from vehicles, to androids, to implants. Together with this ability is a intuition that allows Matrix to understand all machines and how they work. Without any experience she could take apart and advanced computer and rebuild it, or add in seemingly useless components to change it's function or improve it. The artificial brain has given her the ability to be what is effectively a technopath. This is the reason why, within a digital world, she is able to do as she pleases, and is able to control technology as if they were extensions of her own body. Her own limbs.
-Her own mind being in essence, a computer, Matrix can create her own digital realities within, and by emitting a high pitched radio signal people, animals and machines alike can have their artificial intelligence or consciousness trapped inside. This is dangerous however, because it automatically allows anyone Matrix designates to bypass all of her mind's defense mechanisms against hacking and enter directly. Though they would have new memories within her mind, one with enough knowledge on hacking could eventually learn about their current situation and easily break into the brain they are sealed within.

Bio/History
There was never a way for Matrix to know who her parents were. Her memories don't go back that far. The first thing she remembers is being nine and sitting on a Los Angeles doorstep. This was a week after having an artificial brain implanted... a week after she stopped being a mindless animal. But how was she to know any of that?

All she knew was that machines obeyed her, and like a child plays with dolls she played with cars, sometimes made random androids do funny things, or made cyborgs with mechanical arms slap themselves in the face. She was a child without a home. That that wasn't a problem. She didn't know how valuable her gift was. Others did. Hackers who found out about her took her into Haven, the hacker's hiding place, and treated her well. All she had to do was aid them in their fight against the evil, evil government. Or at least that's what they said. Hooked up to their computers she could wander through the very coding and firewalls as if she was walking down the road making cars drive around her. With only a thought she disabled or destroyed firewalls that could frustrate the best of hackers. She was the way forwards for whatever hacking group had taken her in. That's why she needed to be taken away from them.

As easy as it was for her to infiltrate secret files and forbidden information, she was never careful enough. It didn't take long for her position to be tracked down. Originally the plan was to terminate the thirteen year old and all hackers she had associated herself with. By then, however, she was old enough to know that she didn't want anything to happen to her hacker friends and that is she stayed in Haven they would soon be found. So she ran.

As skillful as she was, it was her morals that brought her down. Unable to take a life at the age of fifteen and torn between the decision to cape or aid the dying devoid before her, she chose to stay, and was captured shortly after. She never found out whether that devoid survived or not, even after applying her knowledge of first aid. She wouldn't ever remember him. At the age of sixteen she was submitted to The Program, her appearance altered and her mind hacked into. The process should have taken only a few months, but in her case it took three years. Hacking her brain was something the government hadn't been prepared for, and it was only after constant work over those years that they finally broke through. She was nineteen when her memories were erased and she took on a new identity.

Despite her obvious field skills, the government found that she could be much more useful behind the scenes. There she applied her understanding of technology to make huge steps in counter hacking and creating weapons that could be used against them. She was one of the key factors in creating the defenses used now, along with advancements in The Program itself.

It was during this time that she began to investigate the virtual reality aspect of The Program. Creating a digital world took months, or even more. She found out that by connecting herself with the right equipment, she could dream one up in an instant, shaping it not based on programming or coding, but by using her imagination. This was how she created an infinite number of worlds, even as she dreamed. It was similar to a concept mentioned to her as she worked. There had been an idea many years ago regarding a digital prison that trapped minds. The one that told her about this called it the Matrix. For her, it was perfect. She searched historic files and found out about the recording. He watched it.

She had to admit, she found the movie to be rather silly, that instead of focusing on the brilliant idea of a mental prison it focused on people punching one another, but it fueled her ideas. She formed digital worlds where criminals would be trapped in normal lives, instead of suffering in a cell. Only a month later, after the world's creation, she was promoted and became leader of the Sigma Detention Center. It was there that she would apply her idea, and there where she would earn her name. Instead of locking hackers and future devoid, their minds were locked away in a virtual world where they were as they wanted to be. It was the start of a future where security wasn't a problem. There could be no escapes, or even escape plans. The trapped didn't remember their previous lives, and believed they were living as they should.

This prison that she aptly named Matrix, after the original idea and herself, soon gained a reputation. Those that entered never left. It was practically a death sentence.

For the last three years she has been running Matrix and the Sigma Detention Center. Over time it has changed. She now controls all of the building's security, replaced by androids created herself and tracker bots. She also discovered that within virtual realities she is capable of anything. Inside she considers herself a goddess, which has rapidly altered her ego, and sense of insignificance in the outside world. Recently, she has had extremely good luck capturing the Web Assassins, the hackers she considers to be the most dangerous, and already holds a large number of their members within her walls.

Extra Info: Prisoners that Matrix captures are all locked in individual virtual realities where everyone and everything around them is programmed. One, personal, digital world for each person to avoid any chance of discovering that they are not living in a real existence.
Within the Matrix prison the prisoners have their memories of their previous life wiped, replaced by false ones that act as their history in their new life. Matrix gives each prisoner the life they describe as wanting before being installed with the intention to lower resistance and efforts to leave from within.
