a character in “The Rule of the Universe”, as played by RomanesqueMarionette

Description

Full Name: Katsura Kozakura (Japanese order)
- Nicknames: Kozue (as she finds Kozakura to be way too much).

Age: 16.

Gender: Female.

Appearance:
http://safebooru.org/index.php?page=pos ... &id=340166
http://safebooru.org/index.php?page=pos ... &id=416960

- Schoolroom: 1B (was able to transfer up shortly though last year due to her birthday).
- Best Classes: Music, Sports.
- Worst Classes: Maths.
- Clubs: Music, Volunteer Committee.

Personality: Bouncy, upbeat and in possession of a boundless sense of optimism, yet also hardworking to match her older sister. Kozue has become popular already despite the very short time sheā€™s actually been at Shinkoyama Gakuen, and sometimes she can find herself having such a good time with her newfound friends she's surprised how easily she can end up forgetting all about Tsukiyo.

Like her sister before her Kozue seems destined to be a troublemaker, if itā€™s for the sake of adventure and curiosity or if itā€™s to help out her friends or support her big sister, then Kozue cares little at all about whatever the official rules and authority may be. Actually, to be more correct, it seems that at times Kozue can barely remember what the rules and authority even are in the first place, she can be appear very impulsive to outsiders simply because for her there really arenā€™t any conditions or restrictions, though she would never wish to end up doing something knowingly wrong and unjustified.
She quite dislikes watermelon and fluorescent lightning.
- Alignment: Chaotic Good.
- Motivation: Right now, constantly shifting between wanting to be with Tsukiyo or just wanting to be back with her family. Doesnā€™t really know about Shadows or the House at the moment.
- Relationships:
General: Kozue has become incredibly well-liked among the school populace due to her cute, bubbly and fun personality, as well as her musical talent (helped by the fact that sheā€™s never really suffered stage fright unlike Tsukiyo). She seems to get along well with almost everybody (except maybe teachers) though at the moment hasnā€™t really found anyone she could consider a genuine ā€˜friendā€™.

Family: Although sheā€™s beginning to slide away from the Catholic faith thanks to Tsukiyoā€™s influence, Kozue remains still highly connected with and dependant on her family. Though sheā€™s extremely grateful for the many new friends sheā€™s made at the school and the popularity sheā€™s received for her musical skills and accessible personality, and for the chance to be with Tsukiyo, deep inside her she just wants to be back her home with all her family.

Tsukiyo: She makes it no secret that she has always looked up to her older sister as an idol figure with said idol status probably only being exaggerated in Kozueā€˜s eyes after Tsukiyo left for Taramine), Kozueā€™s own love of music and (unfortunately, depending on your point-of-view) reckless behaviour all being heavily inspired by Tsukiyo, ever since a very young age.
However when Kozue was first able to come up to Taramine and have a look around the school itself she unfortunately arrived right in the middle of Tsukiyo and Keijiā€™s break-up. This deeply shocked her as from all the letters and e-mails she thought they were getting along wonderfully and happily. At the time Tsukiyo was just too distraught to try and explain the situation to her, tarnishing in Kozueā€™s eyes her older sisterā€™s wonderful image.
The two sisters however have gotten back with each other since and are now both working together in the schoolā€™s Music Club, however with Kozueā€™s newfound popularity Tsukiyo is beginning to feel overshadowed by her, though this has resulted in nothing worse than a few occasional problems ā€˜sharing the stageā€™.

Teachers: Already Kozueā€™s teachers donā€™t have a high opinion of her, most of them fearing that sheā€™ll just end up Tsukiyo MkII with her troublemaking behaviour and already high popularity amongst the student populace. Still, they have consoled themselves in that Kozue doesnā€™t seem the type at all to hook up with any boyfriend, so a repeat of the Keiji Sonohara fiasco doesnā€™t look likely.

Around Town: Back in her country hometown Kozue worked in heaps of part-time jobs, whether all at once or constantly switching between them. This is something that has not changed upon moving up to Taramine, in fact with Taramine being a larger city it only seems to have taken off even further. Therefore itā€™s only natural that sometimes she can end up a bit tired from all the running around she has to do, though sheā€™ll never actually say she is.

History: The Katsura sisters, along with their two brothers, were born in a Japanese country town where, given the rarity of things to do there, both of them, Tsukiyo especially at least at first, began to form an interest in music due to the releases of various bands and their motherā€™s own musical skills (only their older brother ever knew their father). The bond between the two sisters became very strong, with the two of them even talking to each other while they were meant to be off to sleep (though that was hardly helped by their brother often waking them up), and also with Kozue even remembering certain little compositions Tsukiyo had come up with long after she herself had forgotten them.

Eventually Tsukiyo passed an entrance exam and went off as a boarder to Shinkoyama Gakuen, leaving Kozue alone back in their country hometown. Kozue deeply missed Tsukiyo, and it was likely their time away except on holidays that made her idolise her older sister even more, clouding her view of her to a slightly unrealistic degree.
Finally one day Kozue was able to come visit Shinkoyama Gakuen herself, where she already made a good impression with the people she met (besides teachers) and had people talking about her in excitement for next year (probably helped by Tsukiyo already being popular at the time). However her time getting to see the school unfortunately coincided with the break-up between Tsukiyo and Keiji, a relationship she had always associated a certain fairytale atmosphere to and never imagine being broken. For a while there she genuinely became scared of Tsukiyo, though now with the start of a new year this hurdle to her relationship with her sister seems to have been for the most part put behind them, at least between the two of them.

Arcana: The Fool.
- Symbolism: Unlike Tsukiyo whoā€™s been at Shinkoyama for long enough, Kozue is only really just starting there. Sheā€™s still fairly sweet-natured but also naĆÆve, yet seems to have potential for a great number of things even if this potential has yet to be fully unlocked.

- Courage: 3.
- Expression: 4.
- Knowledge: 2.
- Diligence: 3.
- Understanding: 2.

- Combat Strengths: None really, combat-wise Kozue can perform many roles and functions equally well such as attacker, mage or defender (though she has a slight preference for attack), but there isnā€™t anything she can do to exceptional effect.
- Combat Weaknesses: On the flip-side, none really. Kozue has no shining strengths but also no glaring flaws either.
- Weapon: Guitar.
- Element: Strike.

Summoning Style: A giant box wrapped up like a Birthday or Christmas present drops out of nowhere from the sky, with Kozue jumping up and bashing it open with her guitar until her Persona bursts out.

Starting Persona: Maui.
- Appearance: http://safebooru.org/index.php?page=pos ... &id=554945 (Kuja from Final Fantasy IX)
- Background: Maui (full name Maui-tikitiki-a-Taranga), the youngest of five siblings, was a demigod and culture hero of the Maori people and ancient Polynesia in general, to which many miraculous feats were attributed such as the ability to shape-shift (usually into birds), switching heads with the sun sister Rohe, beating up the sun god so that days on Earth would be longer, being responsible for the creation of both the islands of New Zealand during a fishing trip, stealing fire from the gods and giving it to mankind and attempting to cheat death only to become the first being in the world to actually die.
- Symbolism: Kozue is like Maui in many ways, the younger sibling with strong ties to her family, a constant trickster and troublemaker who nevertheless always acts for the good of her friends/humanity and, with the House eventually introduced to her, is not afraid to go up against higher beings.
- Resistances: Fire, Expel.
- Weaknesses: Death.
- Abilities: Mostly fire and pierce attacks, with some status alteration spells. Starts with Skewer and Agilao (coming in slightly later to the game).

Intermediate Persona: Arohirohi.
- Appearance: http://safebooru.org/index.php?page=pos ... &id=491183 (Alice Carroll from Aria)
- Background: The Maori goddess of the shimmering mirages caused by the sun, who is said to have created the first woman.
- Symbolism: The Fool is an Arcana associated with daydreams and fantasies, to which mirages are closely alike. Kozue can be affected by different sorts of mirages, such as the ā€˜mirageā€™ of her older sister Tsukiyo, or the previous ā€˜mirageā€™ of Shinkoyama Gakuen and the happiness sheā€™d hoped sheā€™d find there (which she has to quite an extent, but now misses her real home).
- Nullification: Fire.
- Resistances: Wind, Expel.
- Weaknesses: Mind.
- Abilities: This Persona gives further access to fire and status alteration abilities, as well more Expel-elemental powers.

Ultimate Persona: Sunday Origin.
- Appearance: http://safebooru.org/index.php?page=pos ... w&id=66065 (Genderswapped Izaya Orihara from Durarara!!)
- Background: Lord Sunday was the Ruler of the House and Master of the Incomparable Gardens in the original Keys To The Kingdom series (hence the title Sunday Origin).
- Symbolism: First off, it must be said that unlike a normal Persona Sunday doesnā€™t represent Kozue herself, but rather how other people see her, as a pinnacle of sunniness and popularity, and in the case of her older sister as a source of envy (albeit better hidden and suppressed than Saturdayā€˜s).
Lord Sunday is assigned to the Fool Arcana as he was content to delude himself in the Gardens, the birthplace of the universe, all while turning a blind eye to the rest of creation, not unlike the Fool with his head in the clouds. Though as said this part of Sunday represents how Kozue is viewed, not Kozue herself.
Thereā€™s a second, more feminine half of this Persona though, resembling what eventually happens to the role of Sunday in the original books, with the female aspects closer to the person Kozue truly is (Itā€™d be hard to say anything more without spoilers).
- Reflections: Expel.
- Absorptions: Earth.
- Nullifications: Fire, Nothing (?).
- Resistances: Wind, Death.
- Weaknesses: Ice, Mind.
- Abilities: As well further advancements to her existing abilities such as fire, expel and status change spells, this persona now gives access to wind and earth elemental spells, as well as almighty attacks.

Residence: School Dormitory, her room in particular is strewn all over with random small objects, especially over the table in the middle of the room, rather a lot like a younger childā€™s bedroom.

Equipment: As mentioned above, Kozue owns a whole heap of various unsorted trinkets and weird gimmicky items, foremost among them is a large chandelier-type object she made not too long ago. She also owns her own acoustic guitar having not really mastered the electric guitar, and can be seen sometimes using her older sisterā€™s piano.

Miscellaneous: Kozue will not be an initial member of the protagonist group, but will later make her way into the party.

Theme Song: Not sure at the moment, open to suggestions.

Face Claim: Yuu Inagawa from Comic Party!

Expected Posting Frequency: Same as with Tsukiyo.
