My, my. You are in a lot of trouble. We all are. We were a family. We still are. But honestly, it's not lookin' too good for us. You see, they got us. Most of us. Almost all of us. There used to be over 300 of us. Now, there's about 30 of us, give or take a few. Why are they after us? You'll find out. Just know, they all are. Cops, Mafia, Triad, you name it, they want us dead. WHO//
You are a driver. For what, you're not really sure. All that you know is, the people that you drove, did some bad shit. And those people paid the price. Now it's your turn. You worked for an organization of get-away drivers called, "The Runners." Your job was to be there on time, and get out fast. Somewhere along the line, something went wrong, and now a lot of people want you dead.

WHY//
The Runners were not just get-away drivers. We were street racers, bank robbers, Car thieves, you name it, we did it. The Cops have been after us for a long time, and now, they won't rest until we are all behind bars. They even created a team called the Instant Response Vehicular Crime Team, IR for short. The gangs want us dead, because quite simply put, we screwed with them way too much. We got too cocky, and started messing with Their turf, Screwing up Their jobs. In retrospect, not such a great idea. The Triad...Well, like I said, we drove some bad people, who did some bad stuff, and the Triad doesn't like to leave loose ends.

WHERE//
New York, New York. The city of dreams. For some. For others, like us, it is a living hell. Every second is a fight for our lives. The only thing we've got, is each-other. And our Cars.

We don't know. That is our predicament. You see there is a man, They call him "The Eraser". If we can find him, we might be able to start over new. But we don't know who he is, or where he's at.
