Zain smiled as he fell from the sky. Despite the parachutes resistance, he continued to plummet towards the rapidly approaching ground. He watched as his peers landed, some less graceful than others. He had never skydived before, although had always wished to. Observing the more skilled jumpers he was attempting to piece the landing together as he fell. The clearing he wanted to aim for was getting packed, and quick. That would be a rather detrimental landing to anyone beneath him. Instead he decided to come short of the clearing, tugging on his straps, steering towards an opening in the trees about 20 ft in diameter.
Knowing the chute would get caught in the tree, he decided upon the more reckless course of action. Spinning out his prized knife, Zain slashed the cords holding the pack about 15 feet from the ground, and tucked into a roll, sending his white trench jacket into a twirl. He landed rolling on his back and came out of the fall on his feet, taking a knee as his jacket fell like a cape. Looking up he noticed he was only 6 feet from the group of fellow jumpers. Only now did he realize he still had his knife out and open. He flipped the blade several times into close and pocketed it. Unsure of who to proceed he simply tilted his head up. "What up?" he said cooly as someone who wasn't a plane-jumper spoke. "Clearly we fell because we leapt from an aircraft. Easy concept right?"
